One of the amusing parts about blogging is seeing what search terms people use to find your site. The other day one in particular caught my eye:
eat pray love slut goes round the world
Sounds like my kind of reader! I was curious how far down in the search results my site was for this term. Just how persistent was this person?
As it turns out, my post Eat Pray Love: Where are they now? is the first result for that search.
Hmmmmm….
First Ferdinand cornered the market on the vajazzle google bomb, and now you have EPL Slut.
I need to find my own google bomb…lol
Let me know when/if you decide what you want your google bomb to be Keoni Galt. I’ll be happy to assist.
I’ve thought about creating a google bomb for remarriage (or some similar term) and even Post Marital Spinsterhood. But I’ve never made up my mind on exactly what I wanted. In the meantime my site is on the first page of results for “remarriage rates”, and the first five results for post marital spinsterhood. What I should probably do is pick one of the spinster posts and make that the target of the google bomb for remarriage.
Thanks for the offer Dalrock…I was being facetious.
I simply don’t care about driving up my blog traffic (if I did, I would have linked all of my “Dave from Hawaii” comments over at Roissy’s, to my blog all along)…but I don’t mind helping out folks who do care about their traffic, and I enjoy reading their blogs…especially when google bombs can be quite hilarious and fun.
My google bomb:

This is good, very good, beause “Divorce, Eat, Shop, Travel” is such a hot topic right now, and certainly some of those who do search terms on it will not only read your article but the comments as well.
Although it really should be EBL, not EPL. That’s “Eat, Betray, Love”…because that’s what she did to her “kitchen bitch”, ain’t it?
