Trident II Missile Launch

An unmistakable symbol of male privilege.

Time magazine published an article last week about sexual assault in the military titled This Is What It Looks Like When Women Come Out of the Shadows.  The article compares the work of Social Justice Warriors (SJWs) in the military to the work the same group is doing on college campuses:

But at a moment when awareness of violence against women has hit a high water mark after highly publicized incidents on campuses, in the military, in professional sports and in Hollywood, Thursday’s news holds out promise that victims will continue to feel more empowered to come out of the shadows across the country.

In fact, while the url for the article ends with “military-sexual-assault”, it is part of the “Campus Sexual Assault” section of the Time website:

military_frat_same_thing

It is clear that to hard core feminists and SJWs colleges and the military look the same.  The end goal is to do to the military what they have already done to college campuses.  The military is a SJW’s dream playground.  Colleges can only create SJW kangaroo courts with the power to expel men who are accused of violating the SJW code.  The military has real courts SJWs can use to dishonorably discharge men and even put them in prison.  SJWs are of course already well entrenched here, but it is worth considering that the end game is the same for the military as it is on campus.  If Yes Means Yes is needed in dorm rooms surely it is needed even more in the barracks.

When the nation debated integrating women into the military, especially areas like nuclear submarines, the argument from conservatives was that putting men and women in close quarters under high stress situations for extended periods of time would create problems of sexual assault and sexual misconduct.  This would potentially harm women as well as distract from the mission.  What conservatives didn’t understand is that to SJWs sexual assault and misconduct aren’t bugs, they are features.  As we have witnessed, if SJWs can’t find verifiable claims of horrific abuse to justify a full rework of the system they are quite happy to go with unverifiable claims.  The facts don’t matter because the point isn’t to protect women, but to inject them into high risk situations as pawns to justify the radical change of institutions.  This won’t distract from the mission from the SJW perspective because protecting the nation isn’t the mission they have in mind.  To SJWs the military is just another frat house that needs to be broken and remade with Social Justice as the primary organizing philosophy.

Fortunately for SJWs, the plan to put women on nuclear submarines is working as desired.  Now that we are here, the conservative response is only natural.  Don’t look for a concerted push by conservatives to return to a male only submarine fleet (that boat has sailed).  Look for a combined effort by feminists and conservatives to do something about those weak men who are screwing feminism up.

While most women who join the military are not SJWs, the reality is it was never possible to let women in without SJWs coming along with them.

I haven’t been reading this blog (or many blogs) much lately, but the nuclear / military theme caught my eye. My Dad was in the military (22 years in the Navy), and did some recruiting in high schools for a brief period. Girls would wander up to his table with interest in joining, and he would run them off, saying a Navy ship (or the military in general) is no place for a woman. He just flat out refused to even tell them anything a recruiter is supposed to talk to them about, much less help one of them join. That was back before I was even born. If anyone tried to do that nowadays, they’d probably get a dishonorable discharge and make national news or something. I think he was in the right though… women just don’t belong there. And I couldn’t care less if I ruffle a feminist’s feathers with that statement.

I agree, mixing the genders just results in various problems. What we should have done is to study history. Create and fund an all women’s military unit. Assess their strengths and weaknesses, Use accordingly.

  5. Jeremy says:

The imposition of the feminine on male spaces knows no end. It speaks to a terrific ignorance on the part of women that they continue to insist on doing this. They seem to think that male spaces exclude them to belittle them. They project their own thoughts on exclusion gathered from their understanding of female culture onto male culture. Same old story, rather than understanding the masculine, women simply choose to poorly interpret masculinity through the lens of the feminine. Maybe someday women will learn that men do not exclude for petty reasons, males exclude women purely to protect masculinity.

  6. I find it interesting that military tribunals and JAG courts are a ‘travesty of justice’ when it comes to sexual assault / harassment cases because SJWs think they’re too male dominated and trample women’s civil rights interests – yet college university tribunals are “important tools in fighting sexual assault”.

  7. I’d actually contest that most women who go into the military aren’t SJW. I’d say it’s an optimal trajectory for many SJW types. The stories about pregnant never-deployed servicewomen living on base and milking pay speak for themselves. And the chip-on-her-shoulder, took-tomboyism-way-too-far type of woman who feels the urge to out-testosterone men (and possibly resolve some complex feelings towards her father) naturally settles into the military as a sufficiently gung-ho career and proceeds to spit chaw and sh*t-talk like the guys, even if she can’t do pushups with them or keep up with a fully-laden supply pack.

An example of feminism at work in the US Navy is the case of Captain Holly Graf. Look her and the curse of the USS Cowpens up on http://www.militarycorruption.com for a good read. I don’t delight in this stuff since I am from a military family myself, but stories like these have to be let out to expose just how far feminism has put down roots in the military.

The comments are definitely interesting. Apparently men are “the perverted gender” responsible for most of the world’s problem. Anyhow, most of the comments are indeed blaming men for interfering with the plans of feminists.

There is a very real sense in which this front has already reached an surpassed the college level, and yes the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice) is being used to enforce the new standards.

Currently, all military personnel must watch this video…

    http://invisiblewarmovie.com/

…as part of their sexual assault prevention training. You may recall a couple of years ago when the CJOS and all subordinate service chiefs were in front of congress stating that sexual assault prevention was the new, primary mission of the military–even above, you guessed it–fighting and winning the nations wars.

One could argue this was hyperbole intended to shock everyone into the realization of how serious the problem is. Either way, it strikes many rank and file types as a bit bizarre. But make no mistake–the message coming from the top down is a very heavy handed approach. About every other commercial on AFN is about sexual assault. Every other PSA from combatant commanders and senior enlisted leaders on the same AFN stations are on the topic. They are committed to “eradicating” it.

The “good” news, however, is there are grumblings even at the lowest level video presentations about due process. You are required to stay and “discuss” the movie and then the commander chimes in. Several of my colleagues pointed out that abandoning the presumption of innocence is offensive to those of us who swore an oath to a constitution that does not apply to us. The response is “good order and discipline!!”

But my take is, this message is being heard, especially since it is pretty unanimous. It does take field grade officers and above to speak out though (which I am). The UCMJ MUST BE consistent with constitutional principles–it is not above, or outside the constitution. This has been adjudicated by several SCOTUS cases in the past. You can have good order and discipline and still not steam roll over the accused in these cases.

I have always wondered why there isn’t a civil liberties association for military members. basically a legal defense fund to help soldiers fight these cases that violate their rights. There are a lot of unconstitutional orders being given that could be taken to court and won.

  11. SJWs are going around saying video games should be for spreading messages, not for having fun. I’m sure they understand the military as well as they understand games.

” An equality decree, number 22 of the year 2014, unique in the Middle East, recognizing the rights of women in Syrian Kurdistan has prompted opposition from conservative Muslim clerics.

While the courage, audacity and resistance of Kurdish women fighters combating Islamic State jihadists in Kobani have made headlines in the last few months, Kurdish women have marked another revolutionary step by passing an equality decree that could guarantee their own rights within family and society. Their active involvement in fighting has not only seriously challenged gender roles, but also altered traditional views of revolution and politics as male enterprises. The equality decree is another form of resistance by Kurdish women against the Islamic State, which is known for abusing women’s rights in areas under its control.

The Democratic Union Party issued its equality decree on Nov. 10, insisting on women’s participation in lawmaking, and on the inclusion of “women’s will and needs into legislation.” It asserts women’s rights to stand for and to hold all kinds of political positions along with respecting co-presidency in governance. In defining “principles of equality between women and men,” its 30 clauses seek to establish gender equality at all social, economic and political levels. Most significantly it challenges patriarchal mentality in public and private arenas, criminalizing polygamy, forced and early marriages and so-called “honor” crimes, as well as disparities in inheritance rights.

The opening words of the decree make clear its purpose:

“The degree of progress in any society is tied to the active role of women and their participation in the edifice and development of society. It is with this aim and in order to ensure protection of their dignity and to achieve their freedom and rights that women have been fighting… From now on, women do not accept marginalization. A movement that liberates them is an invincible necessity in the fight against all forms of oppression, violence and homicide.”

  19. Mark Minter says:

I sort of have mixed emotions about women in the military.

The hardest part of being in the Marines in the 1970s was isolation from women, even when I was in the United States. Not having a girlfriend, being socially different, being ostracized in Military towns was easily the hardest part of my tour of duty, and probably was single driving factor for me to have never considered the Military as a career.

I had one year assigned to Lowry AFB to go to PMEL school. The military was trying to standardize the Metrology specialty (electronic measurement against standards to calibrate Volt Meters and other measurement devices used in electronics- not Weather). So there was one DOD school for it in Denver. And all of the services sent members for training there. There were Navy, Army, mostly Air Force, and some Marines. We had a Marine Detachment there, a little outpost of the Marine Corps in the middle of this Air Force Base and it was for all intents and purposes like a little embassy. All people not assigned, meaning not Marines, had to enter any of the barracks via the duty office. Including the police.

Shortly after I started there, the Air Force began this push “equality” push and flooded this coveted high tech school, one that the AF men had to re-enlist to gain access, with a bunch of first timer young girls. Cute smart girls actually.

And while I didn’t realize it at the time but it was my first exposure to women going for bad boy alpha cock. They different service groups integrated in the class room, but outside the classroom, they segregated by service. And when you compared the goofy uniforms of the other services, and the nerdy techy guys from the other services to the just out of boot camp, muscled up, starched and polished, “bad boys” of the Marines, it was no contest as to who was “alpha” in those circles. We cursed, we were loud, we were crass. These were the smartest boys in the Marines at the time yet sort of a jock frat football player sort of way. All we had to do was go to school for 6 hours a day, either from noon to 6 pm or from 6 pm until 12 am. We slept late in the morning, like 10 am. Because we didn’t have to fear the entrance of the Air Force Security Police into our barracks, it was a party central. We smoked pot (pre-drug testing days), we drank beer, we had loud stereos. There were days I couldn’t believe I was actually in the Marines. It was like a gift from God.

And we had women from the school in there. It was like something from the movie, MASH. It was nothing to go in the “head” in the morning and girl was showering in there in a stall with the curtains drawn. They would walk past in a towel and say “Hi Mark.”

I had this little WAF girlfriend that I met for the last four months. She went to PMEL school also. And it made the whole experience of being in the Marines entirely different, far more like being in a University, far far far more enjoyable. She slept with me in my little “rack” single bed in my two man room almost every night. We all ate together in the mess hall, hung out at school together, hung out in the barracks together, and we went out at night into Denver together, if we even chose to go out at all. Mostly we stayed in the barracks because it was the best party around.

So then after school, back to the Marines, which was quite a culture shock. And for three years absolute isolation in the Marine culture, almost void of women. Even though I was stationed at Santa Anna in the middle of Orange Country in probably the best time for California girls, I was a social pariah because I was a Marine. And then a year in Japan, even more isolated, then into Jacksonville, NC where there were 50,000 marines and 5,000 locals, all that hated the Marines’ guts. Finally, the last few months in JVille, a bunch of women got assigned to our Avionics group and the very last few weeks I had this little WM (Women’s Marines) Girlfriend.

So I wonder if the stress of sub duty would be minimized if a sub sailor had a little sailor girlfriend on the sub with him that would him clean his torpedo (if you know what I mean?)

Combat duty is one thing. People are firing at you. There are loads to carry. The danger is physical and immediate, contact with the enemy is close quarters, and testosterone is urgent for the ability to react with poise and incisiveness in those moments. But much of what goes on a sub, even though stressful is drilled, standard practices, pre-determined actions based on given situations. I never been on a sub. So I can’t say. And the reality of sub duty today is that there isn’t the high peak threat of the past, and you could almost say they are relics of the cold war, sailing around doing a perfunctory mission that is almost no longer relevant.

Many guys will say “I could never be on a sub with a woman.” But could you if she was screwing you?

Gentlemen, we have nowhere left to hide.
We can’t play virile, male team sports and expect to escape–no–right after they game, they’ve broken down the social doors to our locker rooms while we are getting out of the showers with our nakedness exposed. A male reporter cannot have such access to a young female gymnasts locker room, but they can come invade our space.
As young men, we can’t even secrete ourselves away into a metal tube of secrecy and potential violence and death. We can’t even have our private space there.
When are they going to leave us alone?
I used to like to drive around the town of Eureka, California. There are some beautiful old Victorian homes there. One of them was closed but preserved and transformed into some kind of museum. I asked what it was. I was told it was the old “Men’s Smoking Club House” where ONLY men used to gather and smoke cigars and talk history and politics and whatever. This struck me as so odd. There never could be such a place in our day and age. The feminists would break down its doors and demand entry, or else shut it down.
There are all kinds of all-female gyms; but there can be no all-male gyms. What if I wanted to go and work out and NOT have to be accosted by scantily clad women advertising their wares for a change?
I mentioned that I am a high school teacher. Here’s a little story: Every year, we have to do four “adjunct duties” as part of our contract. That is where we chaperon events or time track meets or swim meets or whatever. Well, one time I signed up to monitor the boys dressing room at a jazz dance show the school put on. The school has a jazz dance class. Now, get this, I had all kinds of female teachers telling me that the boys were NOT to go anywhere near the female dressing rooms. But let me tell you, I had girls coming in and out of the boys locker room all night, and it was all I could do to bar the door against them. It was obvious it was common practice. Later I thought about standing up and making some noise about this, but then I remembered the murderous looks I got when i dared to suggest something about the ridiculously vulgar routine attire of most of the females on campus. I got those murderous looks from female feminist colleagues of mine. And I know my female feminist principal is hardly in my camp either.
I recognize this perverse of desire of feral females to penetrate all realms of male society as one of the curses God placed upon Eve at the Fall. I think Dalrock is right about that.
What a bummer it is to be born into the era of the disintegration of a civilization. It’s only gonna get worse from here. I’ll try to prepare, warn, and shield my children as best I can for what’s coming.

  21. Mark Minter says:

    @Scott.

Believe or not there is. It is the ACLU. Once there was issue about privacy statements. The military had ordered everyone to sign a form waiving rights under the Privacy Act. One guy I knew refused to sign it. The Marines told him he would not get paid. And sure as their word, the next payday, he didn’t receive a check.

He went to the ACLU. And this long haired ponytail lawyer guy showed up at the headquarters, walked in the door and hollered, “Who here wants to go to jail.”

Naturally this caused quite a stir, but this lawyer did explain to the Marines that they were in violation of this man’s rights and to continue to do so would be in violation of the court order he was about to get, and the person responsible for said violation would be held in contempt.

The next payday he received a check.

I would assume many civilian lawyers could accomplish much the same thing in advocating for the accused in a UCMJ situation. I read where two things are happening at the University level. One is that Universities are being compelled by circumstances to hire professional investigators so that cases like these are not bungled. Second, that Universities are now taking out special insurance policies in case they are sued. Most likely, the people doing the suing, are going to be men that sue on the basis of a lack of due process of law. And now that there are “deep pockets” to be had then more lawyers will actually contact and seek out male clients to assist them in assuring that these universities have financial reason to provide them with due process.

What damages can be gained from Military in cases such as these is questionable. But soon there will be ample legal experience in defending men in these bogus cases.

…Many guys will say “I could never be on a sub with a woman.” But could you if she was screwing you?

Careful Mark that you don’t use Apex Fallacy from the opposite side of the fence. Your story describes what it was like to be a Marine surrounded by female AF personnel. Do you think all the attention you got from the AF women made the AF morale any better? It likely damaged the morale of the men who could not get the attention of those women, which means it was bad for their units. You’re quite correct that access to women makes military service for any man much more bearable, but also quite selective when you fail to consider that women do not want to share sexual access equally, they only want the alphas. If, in theory, you could give equal sexual access to all soldiers, you could probably achieve an amazing level of morale in a unit, but the FI makes that all but impossible.

To add to Jeremy’s comment alpha’s are alpha because women like to fuck the period. They are no necessarily good soldiers. “Dalrock, you might be surprised and amused to find out that some feminists have, for long, thought nuclear strategy to be driven by male sexual ego.”

George Carlin once highlighted the fact that rockets and bombs are shaped liked male genitalia.

And the military had it right the first time. Women are a “distraction”, and they don’t have the physical and mental strength that the Creator endowed us men with. And as I’ve said before, that’s what this is all about at the end of the day – penis envy.

  35. Tomasz says:

We have to stop enabling such stuff at any cost.
There are two problems – the more recent one with SJWs, like – I suspect – the woman from GitHub, who made its founder to resign from his own company (in March 2014, but I only found out about it). The SJWs are classic “meritous mediocritous” – (is this catchphrase known outside MGTOW corners of manosphere?) – e.g. a frontend developer (playing with HTML, left with enough time to “fight” for “more women in IT” etc.).

But then there is the much older type of “cutthroat bitch” – like Alice from Dilbert. She is reasonably competent, sometime extremely ambitious. She is OK when it comes to “hard skill”, but then she reaps the benefits of her sex by being held to dramatically lower interpersonal standards. And everybody needs to be complacent with that, because we’re supposed to be “gentlemen”.

Please, fellow men – if she’s not your wife, and a good one at that, don’t ever give her a leg-up. You’re expending your time and/or resources, and harming the society in general. Returning non-sexual favors is still OK 😉

Military guys know this is a bad idea– the simple fact of lower basic-training standards is indisputable proof– but the top levels of military leadership are political appointments more than rewards for competence. On top of that, I’ve heard rumors that Obama has done a large purge of military brass that objected to the feminization of the military, not to mention disagreements over Obama’s illegal war in Libya, etc.

A military coup in America would be one of the quickest, safest reliefs against the Communist infestation. Doesn’t seem likely, though.

As a former active duty officer, and woman, this sort of thing is nauseating.

I came into the military right around the time they started cracking down on our imaginary sexual assault and gender problems, so I got to watch this stuff build up. What it really comes down to is demonizing military traditions and culture. I learned pretty damn quick that stepping into the military, as a woman, means surrendering your female privilege; it’s a man’s world, and most of the time (outside clear cases of illegal activity), you shut up and fucking deal with it. That used to be the way it was. Pity that’s apparently not being taught to females coming in now. The woman who got filmed should have dealt with it directly; slamming the guy’s face into a bulkhead sends a pretty strong message.

I’ve seen sexual tension, or the hint of sexual tension, or the mere presence of a woman, tear units apart. There is no time for this bullshit in front-line combat units. Women don’t belong in certain jobs, because whether we exploit it or not, possession of a vagina can be a serious fucking problem.

But these civilian women all see Starship Troopers with it’s mixed gender open bay showers, and assume that somehow such a state is possible to reach.

To your point about the military being a SJW’s playground, you are absolutely right. What makes it even worse is that service members often have no line of recourse against the system; you are quite literally helpless. I’ve had good friends ruined by sexual harassment allegations. It’s awful.

  41. Red Pill Latecomer says:

Could be it began with Sigourney Weaver as Ripley in ALIEN. I watch a lot of low-budget horror/sci-fi films, and a decades-long cliche has been women soldiers who are as tough, often tougher, than the male troopers.

I’ve see low-budget films about space troopers, with petite women who curse and bark and threaten more fearsomely than their male comrades. Sometimes these petite women slam muscled-men, a foot taller than themselves, into a locker. The male space marine quivers with fear under a petite woman’s sheer toughness. None of these fantasy women soldiers ever ask for female privileges. They’re so horny and foul-mouthed and tough, they shock even some of the men.

  42. Exactly what Cynthia said.

Especially: “What it really comes down to is demonizing military traditions and culture.” The smearing of Capt Honors is a good example of that. http://nooneofanyimport.wordpress.com/2011/01/02/the-start-of-the-purge/

How many humorous videos get made for morale boosting on deployment now, I wonder? Are f’o’c’sle follies even allowed anymore?

And this: “these civilian women all see Starship Troopers with it’s mixed gender open bay showers, and assume that somehow such a state is possible to reach.” How so many people can ignore the reality of basic human behavior, I will never understand.

Active duty military is a tough place to be right now, I can tell you vicariously as a milspouse. I imagine it feels a lot like playing your instrument as best you can while the Titanic sinks beneath you.

Gunner Q: >> the top levels of military leadership are political appointments more than rewards for competence. <<

By the late days of the Russian Empire, the Tsar's military was largely led by officers who were well-connected aristocrats, rather than military experts. The Russo-Japanese War and World War One proved this to be a bad idea.

Stalin also purged his military experts, and appointed political loyalists in their stead. This initially led to costly defeats during World War Two.

  44. Redpill Latecomer,

Absolutely right about Ripley. I love that movie, and that tough-as-nails character. The story could even work b/c the mother-instinct to protect her young kept her going in the end. But it had the co-ed crap, completely ignoring the reality of male/female relations. Plus the parts where they wrote her as the problem-solver, when in reality the Marines would be the ones figuring out which ducts and p-ways to seal, etc. The feminist narrative taints even a great movie like Aliens.

Such hypocrisy lies at the root of cries for “equality.” If women really are equal, then they shouldn’t need all this special protection. So which is it? Are they equal, or fragile little flowers?

That scene with the tough-as-nails female Space Marine doing pull-ups entirely crashed my suspension of disbelief!

Was Ripley the first Feminist action hero?

There have been so many movies where a tough woman beats up bigger, evil men. I think this amounts to propaganda; a lot of women internalize these scenes and begin to think they’re more physically capable than they really are. I’m a man and even I would not have the audacity to assault someone like Ray Rice, for example. Or maybe this is just an example of women not understanding cause and effect.

He was hosing off the recruits, who were in the mud in front of him. (And it was a fire hose, with fire hose pressure, not a garden hose). They were broken into teams of about 5-6 guys, each team had a giant telephone-pole sized log. The cadre guy was just calmly barking out “up. Down. Roll. Up. Roll. Down. Left. Right. Down…” (not screaming at them like a movie characiture of a drill sergeant.)

These guys were exhausted after a few minutes of this, but they just kep going for what seemed like forever. I was impressed, but I can’t picture my wife or daugther doing it. (Or imagine why they would want to).

  57. Man did I have a thing for the bionic woman when I was a kid!

Ripley wasn’t tougher than the men, just better than surviving. The Marines had to go into battle without their armor-piercing rifles so they wouldn’t shoot the nuclear reactor’s cooling system, which got nearly all of them killed while Ripley watched. And in the first movie she had to blow up her spaceship with the alien in it to win and even that wasn’t enough.

  58. Man did I have a thing for the bionic woman when I was a kid!

We all did. Lindsay Wagner was beautiful. Her, Wonder Woman (Linda Carter), and Nancy Drew (Pamela Sue Martin) were the hot babes of late 1970s television. We were getting stiffies before we even knew what to do with them.

Because America is OUR country, by thunder. It was Christian from the start and cannot exist except as Christian. The traitors, sociopaths and outright satanists co-opting our institutions are not our legitimate rulers. They are breaking our laws, violating everything we stand for including our childrens’ sexual innocence, serving foreign powers and it is God’s will, not to mention our civic duty, to push back against such evil.

Besides, we have nowhere to go.

The rate of Christian martyrdom is sky-high. The likely successors to America’s preeminence are either hardline Soviets or an ultra-feminist United Nations. If America falls then the entire world will go dark. There is no new frontier, no place for a fresh start, nowhere even to hide thanks to technology. We Christians either stand here or fall everywhere.

Don’t convince yourself that a Second Republic of Texas or something can survive against an amoral, totalitarian world government.

Correct. Hicks, Hutchenson, and Crone (the guy who was killed with the flame thrower when and an alien exploded and he was covered with acid) were all MUCH TOUGHER than Ripley. Crone was the toughest marine there, went side-by-side with Vasquez. He’s probably the only one was alpha enough to attract Vasquez.

In the first Alien movie (a better movie by the way because Ridley Scott is far superior to James Cameron) there was another female role on the Nostromo. From a survival standpoint, she was basically… useless, helpless. Yaphet Kotto’s character wound up getting himself killed (in vain) trying to protect her. So it wasn’t all feminism here with this series of movies. Hell even in the 3rd movie (Alien 3) the first thing Ripley does is ask the warden at penal colony if he found her attractive because she NEEDED to be touched by a man. There is nothing feminist about that.

This will take a couple of paragraphs to set-up so please “bear” with me.

The Navy’s Nuclear Power Command was once in Orlando, Fl. In the early 1990’s (e.g. 1992-ish) we had female recruits exiting Boot Camp across the street from our nuclear power training command. When they finished boot camp they were released into the general population of the Navy’s Nuclear Power Command side of the base.

After graduation they would be transitioned (awaiting orders) to the real navy via TPD (temporary personnel department). This would allow the females to come into contact with our students when they went to chow breakfast, lunch or dinner.

One of our nuclear enlisted sailor’s was very shy, and talked to no one he didn’t have too, was in chow line ahead of some female sailor’s one day. They decided to accuse him of sexual harassment.

He was charged with sexual harassment on the word of three female “no-bodies” removed from the program immediately without even questioning if he actually did those things. He was “keel-hauled” (“NJP” .. Non-Judicial Punishment .. Called onto the ((green)) carpet) without a shred of evidence. Just three females word lie. He was reduced in rank (E-4 to E-2) and restricted to base as well. And, to add insult to injury he was sent to TPD for new orders.

A couple of weeks later they were bragging about all of this (i.e. false accusations) to their friends. A sailor over-heard them and reported it. Thank goodness they were just plain stupid along with crazy.

The females admitted what they had done when confronted. BUT, the accused sailor was never given an apology or a chance to return to the Nav’s Nuclear Power Program.

I wished this was the only story I had like this. It isn’t the only one I have first had experience with … sigh.

Soon, the entire place is infested with feminism, whether declared or not.

This is understood – just like it is understood that bedding co-eds is an unwritten benefit to teaching in college. The Feminists can scream about it all they want, but it is prevalent for ONE reason, and that is that WOMEN WANT it…

Women have always sought out the alphas in a group – the military is filled with them, and women regularly avail themselves of what they can get. Of course, the men may be sampling, but not buying. That is why they start to scream – when they are dumped for a higher value woman. Had mixed experiences with women serving. Some of them were rock stars. Some of them were the worst piece of shit human beings I ever had the dubious honor of knowing. Most of them skived when they could. Difference was, most of the men grew out of being slackers after a few months and particularly when they made a little rank – not to many 10 percenter Sergeants First Class. Lot of women saw making a little rank as a symbol they were now the boss and could slack off. A lot of them also bailed on programmed deployments to live fire zones by catching a bad case of pregnancy. I had zero respect for those bitches.

I do totally look up to the non-SJW women who carried their load without complaint, same as my male buddies who did that. As long as you aren’t in the backbreaking jobs – gruntfantry, cannon cockers or tankers – women can usually do the job although not as fast or well as men when brute force is involved. I did know a couple women who could pull their own weight physically and in addition to being athletic little specimens they were just very solid human beings. *NONE* of the SJWs I knew were worth a shit as soldiers. NONE of them. Wrong attitude. Low quality women – non-hackers or sluts – can in fact really fuck up a unit with their drama. A guy who causes drama you straighten out with a yelling at and some remedial duty, or maybe he gets an ass-kicking, or at worst he gets moved to shit details or out of the unit. Much harder to deal with female non-hackers.

A lot of women who are willing to step up though bring their own skilsets and it doesn’t always hurt, can even help some. You want a woman MP or huminter when handling some Arab females and as long as they aren’t banging half the unit or selling shots of ass, a pleasant woman in quasi garrison conditions actually brings something nice to what is usually a chickenshit hellhole of a dirty nasty place on deployment. What does hurt the force is the effort to put women into the infantry and field artillery and other fields where brute strength is mandatory just to meet minimal standards. That’s going to result in deaths, deaths of finer people than the Congress critters who are setting up these disastrous social experiments.

  77. Joe says:

Likely not, just from the standpoint of military deployment obligations. The minimum contract for American military is, what, 8 years of either active duty or active reserve? That puts off having kids until she’s at least 26 unless she wants to risk getting called away from her infants to visit Iraq… or unless she expects special treatment.

It’s okay if she doesn’t want kids (from age 18!) but, generally, joining the military is fatal to any domestic fantasies a girl might have. Yet another example of feminism hurting women as well as men.

I’m talking about my fellow cultural critics here on this blog. I don’t think too many here are big enablers of feminism, but for some reason, there’s a lot of hand-wringing about the health of the feminist USA and its feminist military.

Personally, I’m celebrating. Let the feminists man the subs. It’ll be more incentive for you brothers to keep your own sons out of these stupid wars for women and billionaires, and teach them to think for themselves.

Boxer .. it won’t be long before the readness of subs is so bad that they will set limits. Or over-(wo)man the command.

You can’t get a replacement sailor without a sailore being removed thus creating an opening. For men the inly way off is .. completion of obligation .. go crazy .. or medical so badly to render you un-fit for sub-duty.

Women can’t be a radiation worker (e.g. everyone on a sub) if she is third trimester on. Sick-bay is on the tender. They will all be their just like when I was in the Navy. That means no work is veing done. That means not ready for deployment / patrol. They will be sick enough to not work but not sick enough to be removed from the ship to make way for a replacement.

You see it takes upwards of 18 months to get someone fully qualified on a sub. No sub is like the other. So you can’t just go over to your sister sub and fill-in. You have to fully re-qualify.

When I was in Navy Reg’s didn’t allow a Sub Commander to go to sea with more than 10% non-qual’s. It’s to dangerous.

So in a small unit / command structure one dead-weight sailor could effect command readness. It takes inititative and pure will-power to endure and produce in a sub. Slackers are dealt with swiftly. Or it used to be that way.

    Story time ..
I had an Ol Chief tell me this one. “Sir, two subs go to sea. One full of Officers and one full of enlisted. Sir, which one comes back?” “I don’t know Chief .. which one?” “The enlisted boat Sir. It just comes back dirty!”

A sub is 90%+ enlisted. Officers are worthless to sea going readiness.

    And so are women.

You’re right about the military sapping a woman’s child-bearing years. There’s first the strain of finding a guy who doesn’t think you’re a lesbian, who’s prepared to take on the task of moving every few years for his wife. Then you have to make sure that relationship isn’t frat (or hide it very well if it is). If it’s a military guy you manage to catch, there’s no guarantee he’ll be stationed with you the next time you PCS, and even then, one person usually has to take a shit assignment so the other can get their career advancement posting.

A percentage of the enlisted girls make it work, but especially on the officer side, a lot of military women end up alone. Problem is, you don’t normally realize that until it’s too late to do anything about it. I had friends who were talking about single motherhood as a lifestyle because they were that desperate. I worked with a female O-5 who was in a mil-mil marriage, but due to duty postings, she wasn’t able to have her first child until she was 35. (Good woman, good Catholic, and she was blessed with twins on her second pregnancy, so she was able to get the big family she wanted, but at what price?). It’s a real mess.

I’m glad I found some of these blogs when I was about a year out from my separation window; made me start seriously thinking about what I wanted, and I didn’t want to end up like a lot of my older colleagues, old and alone.

I’ve had to talk to a couple of girls over the past few years, about what it takes to get into a service academy, and I always tell them the same thing; odds are you are not going to have children or get married (unless you go lesbian), and if you’re not 100% on board with that fact, don’t do this to yourself. But we’ve trained sixteen year old girls to consider such advice foolish, and I always get these blank stares.

The military is a huge gamble for straight women. It really, really is.

I consider myself lucky. I’ve got a good man and we’re headed towards marriage and kids. I’ll probably be 31 when I have my first one. Not a place I wanted to find myself, but it’s better than it would have been if I’d kept prioritizing a shit job over my own future.

Interesting. One of my HS acquaintances went to WP and married a fellow cadet there, but they both left the military by the time they were late 20s/around 30 and opted for other careers. They are still married, one son at WP right now. I think they could likely not have made it work if they had stayed in the military.

To a more limited extent, the executive track women in corporate America face a similar situation. In order to advance steadily, they often have to move around (between companies, or between postings for the same company). That means either no man, or having a man who is open to moving with her every so often, and that means she’s the breadwinner, which is often a downer for her in terms of whom she wants to marry. Often what I have seen is that women who drive for the brass ring (corner office, senior exec type thing) are either single or are married without children. The ones who were exec track when they met their husbands and who decide to opt out of the brass ring chase (much to Sheryl Sandberg’s chagrin) seem to opt either for stay at home mom-hood for a few years or for dual income professional equalist marriages, where both earn good coin, but neither can go for the true brass ring because it would require the career of the other to be compromised.

  86. cynthia says:

All my information is anecdotal, so take this with a grain of salt: the only female academy grads I know who are married, are married to other academy grads. Every single one I know ( I graduated in ’08). I think it has something to do with what kind of girl goes to a place like that, and what the place does to you. It’s a strange thing, but then, academy grads are strange people.

My boyfriend was a year behind me at USAFA, but he’s doing a medical track through the Army, so he’s got a few more years of AD to get through. We never could make it work while I was still in. It’d be better for him to stay in and get his retirement at this point, so I fully anticipate losing any chance at serious career advancement to the next PCS.

There’s always that struggle for women, and I hate the feminists who have promised my generation the world. We’ve only lost out on the things that actually matter. I have no problem with a woman prioritizing a career, but prioritizing it above existing children and marriage is despicable, and it just doesn’t work. It is a choice we have to make though.

I am an Academy grad too, although I predate you by more than a generation. I was a senior when the first female academy students were admitted. The problems they brought with them were huge and ongoing. You are right in that academy grads are strange/different. In the Navy we say there is no such thing as an ex-Marine. The reason for this is that Marines invest so much in being Marines that it leaves a permanent change in them. The academies do the same; and that is their intent, it is a feature not a bug.

I served in Submarines and I would like to tell that enlisted veteran up above on this thread that he is full of BS. I heard the same BS from enlisted, usually senior enlisted, while I was in. They and you have no idea what you are talking about. In order to qualify in submarines every officer (100%) had to qualify on every watch station in the boat (100%). I, and every qualified officer, could and had done every job done by any and all enlisted men. However, enlisted men didn’t even know what officers did; hence their inflated idea of their own importance. They believed since they didn’t know about it, it was not important. Without the officers you wouldn’t know where to go, why you were there once you got there, what to do when you were there, and when you were done doing it. Most of the crew had no idea what the boat was doing, or where it was, on most, if not all, special operations. Then there is the issue of setting up OpTar and meeting budgets, setting up training schedules, and actually fighting the boat (Operations). This does not even mention all the staff officers designing and building the ships and the shore facilities, and creating all the procedures and processes that the enlisted are then trained to execute. Determining the manpower requirements and setting standards also falls to those worthless officers. Enlisted, especially senior enlisted, are entirely privileged to not be the one in charge and not have to take responsibility for much of anything once their shift is done. I had a senior chief that I worked with for years and knew well. I have the greatest respect for him and his professionalism. He let me know that he hated when he had to fill in while I was on tour of the spaces. He acknowledged that he did not like having the final responsibility for everything that happened that fell on my shoulders routinely. There are plenty of enlisted that get it, like he did, it is just that the minority idiots tend to speak more often and more loudly.

There’s probably some element of hypergamy going on here. Military and police women are exposed to large numbers of men who are, by and large, not as feminized as the civilian counterparts. It recalibrates the way you view men, in general. Too, it’s a lot harder for one of those guys to see you as a woman willing and able to take the submissive role in a relationship, where guys in the military and law enforcement professions are able to distinguish the bulldykes from the decent girls. At least, that’s how I see it. Not sure how guys in those positions view it.

I am confused as to why a bunch of Christian family men would care what happens to a country that has as its official mission to wipe them out, ruin their families and incentivize their wives to fuck other men and divorce them, while filling their kids full of amphetamines during the “cubicle drone and consumer training sessions” (called public schools). Maybe Earl can help me out with this.

#1, Christians are NOT called to be a part of politics, nor are they called to serve in the military. They are called to “come out of her” and spread the Gospel. Period. The Anabaptists had it right, which was why they were persecuted by BOTH the Vatican and the Protestants. Likewise, after Hitler targeted the Jews and the Gypsies, the NEXT group he targeted for elimination were the small number of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Germany at the time, because the JW’s refused to serve in the military, and refused to pledge allegiance to any flag or swear an oath, as Scripture does indeed mandate. These are facts. I am not a JW. But these are facts.
#2, REAL U.S history is nothing like what brainwashed evangelicals think it is.
#3, No nation-state is “Christian,” but many claim to be such. The U.S. claims “God is on our side” as we invade Iraq and and other nations; Nazi Germany claimed “God is on our side” while they invaded Poland and other countries. And so it goes….

Well said. From what you posted about your time at the USNA I figure you’re a few years older than I am. As a retired field-grade officer I’ve also heard a bunch of people say things like “NCO’s run the Army/Navy/Air Force/Marines (mostly junior enlisted and mid-level NCO’s – the senior NCOs tend to know better).

One thing I think we can all agree on is this: even reasonably good-looking women can do very well in the military career-wise if they choose to. Then again, good-looking women have the world at their feet no matter what they do or where they are. It’s part of that female privilege they don’t recognize until they hit the wall – and usually not even then.

“Two lessons can be learned from this.

First, feminism and fear of reprisals from feminists and their male cohorts throughout all level of society, and now even the military, push unqualified women into posts out of fear or displaced attempts at “fairness.” To stand against this tide means putting career and potentially freedom on the line. Most just hope to stay clear of the wreckage and preserve their positions and ride out the wave.

Second, females in power can become extremely vindictive and prone to reprisals. Just look at how women treat each other, they are merciless. Frankly, women are actually meaner than men. In primitive cultures, the Mohawks for instance, women were most often the cruelest and most persistent tormentors and mutilators of prisoners. Here is some background.

Matriarchies are ruthless and cruel. Men can surely be just as cruel and ruthless but not for prolonged periods. Men are unable to sustain this without wearing down. It’s well known that most male abortion doctors quit the procedure after a decade or even less, Bernard Nathenson being the most famous case, yet women can seemingly continue in perpetuity. Women seem to have an enduring emotional capacity to justify even ruthless and immoral reprisals and behavior that men do not. Men can be stirred to action and there are few men who are exceptions, but in almost all cases a man’s ethereal side begins to wear down their resolve. Men can compartmentalize even very horrible experiences, and keep going. We have a capacity when focused on a task or enemy to harness enormous amounts of focused energy enduring immense privations even, but this state of intense warrior-like focus can only be sustained for short periods. Women seem able to keep a slow burn going for years with outbursts at regular intervals often when least expected. As it was said so aptly by William Congreve, although regularly attributed to Shakespeare, “… nor hell a fury like a woman scorned.”

Society is churning out cohorts of angry, vindictive women with pre-made axes to grind against the supposed evil patriarchy. Feminist ideology now riddled throughout society is propelling many well beyond their capacities where many of them wreak havoc on their co-workers. A larger portion are reasonably talented, but often ineffectual or incompetent and, worse, mercurial. There are of course exceptions, and I know personally a few women, who were quite capable and effective leaders. They are by far the exception.”
