Shortly after the Supreme Court made gay marriage the law of the land, Drudge linked to an article at The Hill on the push to lift the ban on transgender troops: Momentum grows to scrap Pentagon’s ban on transgender troops
What stood out to me in the article was the Republican leadership in Congress very obviously preparing to roll over on the issue. The Hill article claims that lifting the ban would face “stiff opposition” from the GOP controlled congress. However, then it quotes House Armed Services Committee Chairman Mac Thornberry (R-Texas) as being astonishingly open to the idea:
The department “needs to look at a variety of policies. As long as they look at it objectively, based on what’s best for the security interests of the country, then we’ll oversee or review what they do,” he told The Hill.
“When there’s a sense that there’s some extraneous social or political agenda … people get concerned,” Thornberry added.
Representative Thornberry is telegraphing the make-believe argument that he is prepared to go along with when the Pentagon decides that troops have the right to declare they are whatever sex they feel that they are. He is all but pleading with the Pentagon to frame this in such a way that he doesn’t have to pretend to put up a fight. The alternative, that Thornberry is so naive that he doesn’t understand that this is entirely about a social/political agenda, is too absurd to contemplate.
So much for the leadership in the House. Next, on to the Senate:
Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman John McCain (R-Ariz.) struck a similar chord.
“The administration policy should always be a basis for our discussion,” he said.
Senator McCain like Rep Thornberry is looking to the administration for leadership on the topic. Not coincidentally, so are the transgender activists:
“Everyone in advocacy believes this needs to be a Pentagon thing,” said Mara Keisling, executive director of the National Center for Transgender Equality. She added that the legislative push could wind up being an “education and advocacy tool.”
The article notes that Defense Secretary Ashton Carter has been signaling his support for the policy change ever since he took office in February:
“I don’t think anything but their suitability for service should preclude them,” he said.
The White House quickly endorsed Carter’s remarks.
As a hunting buddy of mine likes to say, “It’s all over but the crying”.
What will be interesting is to see how the military tries to manage the inherent contradictions between feminist affirmative action and allowing men to declare they are women. If a man declares that he is a woman, does he still have to pass the much more demanding physical requirements for men? If so, why? Feminists have been telling us for decades that the lower standards for women don’t produce a less capable soldier/airman/sailor/Marine, so it can’t be due to anything related to the job. Since passing the more difficult physical test isn’t required for a trans woman to do the job, then making them take an arbitrarily difficult test must be a form of discrimination against the transgendered. By the same token, shouldn’t a woman who declares that she identifies as a man (and therefore is a man) be required to qualify as a man? Otherwise the military would be saying she isn’t a real man.
Moreover, as I understand the left’s argument gender can be fluid. A man might one day decide he is a woman, and another day decide he is once again a man. All that matters is how the man/woman identifies today. Will the Pentagon be so bigoted as to require that service members pick a gender identity and stick with it? If not, what would prevent at least some service members from switching their identity as it gave them an advantage, then switching back after the test or promotion?
Even more interesting is how this will confuse highly anticipated breakthrough moments for feminists. Feminists are on the cusp of lowering the requirements for women to become Army Rangers, yet CNN has declared that we already have our first female SEAL:
After years spent fighting in some of the world’s worst wars, former U.S. Navy SEAL Kristin Beck says she knows what she wants.
The U.S. Armed Forces are not going to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, nor will our Christian denominations, the Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States, the Supreme Court, the U.S. Congress, Senate or Presidency. Wood, hay, stubble. Proven more and more every day.
Selective Service… trans-men, yes? Trans-women, no? This will be interesting to watch.
Good point SD, never thought of that. This trans thing has a potential to be a major farce. I am beginning to feel as if I am being discriminated against as a very butch lesbian trans-woman. Just sayin’.
It’s done and dusted. The school district here in suburban DC (a purple legislative district) has already ruled this year that kids are permitted to go to the bathroom “of the gender they identify as”, and the sex ed curriculum has been revised to deal with transgender issues as young as grade 5.
It’s over, folks. This is the new world they want — they won. All we can do is protect ourselves and our own at this point.
Vietnamese Coed Batallions were massacred by American troops because of women’s inability to fight and act under pressure. Anyone who knows anything about women knows that they are unfit for combat, even the most martial of them. It is just not in them, and never will be.
The US is lucky that it has no real enemies and enough technology to insulate its troops. When (and not if) things get hairy..

Who is funding these trans activists? I need links not opinions.
Let us rephrase the question as, “Do you think gays, lesbians, feminists, and trannies would make good cannon fodder?” As in the 1930s, we’re cutting military budgets to pay for socialism at home. That plus all the progressive twaddle means that anyone who enlists now is signing up for the next Bataan Death March.
I decided that I have been a woman all along, despite my penis. Does this exempt me from the draft?
Republican leadership preparing to roll over on the issue of transgenders in the military.
So what else are they gonna do? They traded their integrity for a seat at the devil’s table a long time ago and lost their relevance in the bargain.
The whole trans thing is a divisive issue within feminism. Radical feminists actually oppose men who identify as women being considered women, and they have opposed this for a long time. The always classy Germaine Greer even wrote back in 2009 that trans women (i.e. men who believe they are women) cannot actually be women because they do not know what it is to “have a big, hairy, smelly vagina.” If I recall correct, she said this in the context of an Olympic athlete who competed as female but was later found to be a female-identifying male.
But younger feminists of the Jessica Valenti era – I guess they’d be the sex positive ones – embrace the transgendered.
Smart men in the tech industry have no doubt noticed the big push by feminists for there to be more women in tech. And there are an increasing number of “trans” women in tech (see: Justine Tunney, Brianna Wu, etc), but companies can just call them “women” and satisfy their quotas. So whatever is the enterprising young man who wants a leg up in the tech industry to do? I can’t imagine…
And modern feminists will have to support it, in the military, in the tech industry, and everywhere. This is colloquially known as “cutting off your nose to spite your face” but modern feminists are apparently too stupid to understand that.
To continue Sunshine’s theme, there is a picture of “Lynn Conway” here:
https://davidcollard.wordpress.com/2014/01/23/a-brief-internet-guide-to-pervy-weirdos/
“noted computer scientist, strident activist and, originally, a man”
Some of the best women in the mathematically demanding professions are actually originally men. Noted economist Deirdre McCloskey is another.
As for Germaine Greer’s remarks about the vagina, I think she really means vulva. Applying Sailer’s Law, and reading her remarks about desirably “small, unobtrusive” female genitals, I think we can surmise that, as she once put it, she has a “twat like a horse collar”.
What stood out to me in the article was the Republican leadership in Congress very obviously preparing to roll over on the issue.
Republicans “rolling over” on an issue? Say it ain’t so …
(Anyone got any spare [sarcasm][/sarcasm] tags?)
The snake comes around to eat it’s own tail… I guess it’s that way with any sophist argument like feminism. It starts contorted, it stays contorted, and eventually breaks something in the process. Trans-men will take the quota spots that all the feminuts thought they’d won for themselves.
Then again, maybe that’s what brings back the traditional family, women seeing trans-men as the competition instead of heterosexual men? That would be a curious turn of events.
Corporal Klinger in M.A.S.H. was a crusading hero ahead of his time.

It used to be, when a woman publicly made outrageous claims about “the way things ought to be”, it was the burden of her husband or father to tell her to shut up because she’s embarrassing herself. Now, the public enjoys the insanity of being exposed never-ending barrage women’s fickle emotions as if every word that comes out of a woman’s mouth can be taken at face value.
Isaiah 3:11-13King James Version (KJV)
12 “As for my people, children are their oppressors,”
“and women rule over them.”
“O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
So now that we’ve established that this has all happened before, what comes next?
13 The Lord standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.
“Kristin Beck said, “There’s been a lot of transgender people who are killed for prejudice, for hatred”

What is ignored in the gay / trans debate is the amount of intimate partner violence that occurs within the community, not outside of it.
http://www.avoiceformen.com/mens-rights/domestic-violence-statistics-laws-and-information-for-men/
That is, far more domestic violence occurs to a given individual at the hands of those who supposedly accept him/her, than at the hands of the population at large.
Regarding the military, it was Stalin who put women on the front lines against the Wehrmacht. After appalling losses, the use of women’s battalions was rescinded. It did have an effect, though: Germans soldiers were demoralized, asking themselves what sort of beast would put women on the front line? Apparently the same sort of beast running the feminist movement, with the transgendered right behind.
Dalrock,
The more I think about it, the more accurate I believe your assessment is of what it means to be a political “Conservative” today in Amerikan politics. Conservatives swallow what they are fed by Liberals 20 years down the road.
Conservatives want the blessings of a free, prosperous and strong nation without obedience to the God Almighty who makes those blessings possible. They’ve built their homes on sand instead of the cornerstone of Christ. Republicans are such dim-witted liars, like this Mac Thornberry, they haven’t put 2 and 2 together to figure out that a recent Unconstitutional Supreme Court Decision doesn’t translate to a mandate from their constituents to continue with the destruction of marriage… yet.
How’s this working for them? Oh look… God handed them over to their enemies. Looks like another uninterrupted 40 year reign for the Socialists. [sarcasm]Never saw that coming![/sarcasm]
I for one, will no longer be sucked in by these worldly political schemes of “Not voting for the Republican establishment is just like a vote for the Democrats!” and other such nonsense. Christians relying on the counsel of the wicked got us here, the counsel of the wicked will NOT redeem us from this mess. The only candidate that would interest me in voting again would have to be a modern day prophet that speaks God’s truth to power and pisses off every unrepentant sinner within earshot just like the Old Testament prophets did.
I was talking to a person who at a distance easily passes for a female. He told me in that higher-pitched though slightly gruff voice they have, ‘some days I just want to be treated as a sissy faggot’. Just cutting your dick off no more makes one a woman than putting on leather and carrying a gun makes one a man, even if gun-totting females are seriously scary.
I would however go one stage further and suggest that Trannies are no more (biologically) real than Homosexuals; both are play-acting.
Your Army, however, had it coming to them. How did that old T.V. ad of yours go [cue music] ‘Be all that you can be in the U.S. Ar -ar-ar – me’. Quite!
This is not a surprise, and only a matter of time. The Republican Party, despite its claim to the contrary, is not a party responsible for the moral tone of society. The Church is. “As the Church goes, so goes the world”, says a wise man of God.
Throughout history the church remains “the ground and pillar of the truth”, and through its constant contention for that truth, holds up a mirror against the societal conscience, and keeps every form of societal filth at bay.
Once the Church began to be led by unqualified men of the pulpit, the anchor became unhooked and the battle was lost. It would only be a matter of time before the remains of the battered ship of faith scatters all over the foaming sea.
Nothing happens in any Western society, except as endorsed by the Church of Jesus Christ. Even feminism would never have seen the light o day in America if the Church had played its role. Same arguments could be made for slavery and all other shameful aspects of American past.
What the sexual revolution looks like:
1. Homosexuals will fight and gain acceptance
2. Trans-sexuals will fight and gain acceptance
3. Pedophiles will fight and gain acceptance
4. Bestials will fight and gain acceptance.
Then the end of civilization will come, when “every man will do whatever is right in his own eyes”. It will be the perfect time for “the man of lawlessness” to show up, and “through peace destroy many”.
The way things are going this is good news. I truly believe the military will be used at one point on the American people. I don’t want the most productive and capable men in the military with their heart into it. (heterosexual family men) 80 plus percent of military effectiveness comes from men that believe in what they are doing and are proud of their country and have a deep emotional stake in what’s going on. All pep talks, sermons, and pre-game speeches are meant to tap into that.
This kind of thing done on a national scale is where MGTOW and the herbivore men thing in Japan come from and the consequences on a national scale are huge. The society will be ripe for a guy like Ronald Reagan, or a guy like Hitler. Worse still is you may have men that don’t care and will start clanning up into little groups out for themselves. The place will look like the Balkans or the middle east.
Red pill and MGTOW will grow and any red pill church that actually teaches and speaks from the actual scripture is in a position to grow with very strong individual members. Right now islam is one the spiritual leader in this. The next few years are going to be very interesting.
Government now has the tech to wage war on the population using very few core personnel, a capable military drawn from the nation’s men threatens this hegemony, and DHS is already putting veterans on the watchlist.
I don’t know what you expect them to do, fellas. Look – we’ve been here before:
– In Nazi Germany if you did not Zieg Heil on cue…you could get shot
– In th 1950’s if you were accused of being a commie your life was ruined. It didn’t matter if you were a pinko or not.
– today if you don’t actually celebrate sexual perversion, multiculturalism, or feminism you get labelled, libelled, slandered and prosecuted as a homophobe, sexist or racist. It doesn’t matter if you are or not.
Are you going to pay the legal bills for that old General that dares to voice the obvious problems that go along with commanding sexually disturbed troops? Are you prepared to brave the twitter mobs, the legions of SJW vandals and idiots that would come howling for your blood if you were in their position? If a Republican politico came out of the closet with a moral and ethical stance on this he would get ripped to shreds.
Fuck that. I have better things to do than be a sacrificial lamb for a bunch of queers, pedos, and perverts with double digit IQ’s. My own daughter is a feral lesbian howler monkey; I’ve watched her make stupid, self destructive decisions and double down on them after she got burned on them. Then she ‘triple downed’ on them. My in laws used to be Baptists or Presbiterians with morals and ethics. Today they are progs who applaud and encourage my daughter when 20 years ago they would have burnt her at the stake.
We stand astride the tides of history, boys. All that matters is you and your family. Concentrate on them and to hell with the other guy…if you lose a family member to this new age morality (and you probably will at some point) – the pressure on you to go along to get along will be huge. Most of you will crumble. I stuck by my guns and it tore my family to shreds. There are times I wonder if I did the right thing. I will be sitting down with my in laws tormorrow night for the first time in 5 years. Chances are they are going to try and brow beat me with PC and shove my daughters’ homosexuality up my ass. If they do I will throw them out…but I desperately hope that they are finally coming to reality on all this. We’ll see.
My hope is that in 20 years we will look back on all this and shudder at a bad memory that it’s better not to think about.
Fortunately, our technological edge may mitigate the effects of this foolishness. All they would need to do is press a button to fire a missile, right? Most of the transgender and women will never see or experience a day of hard, brutal combat no matter how long they serve.
@Hate monger
”Vietnamese Coed Batallions were massacred by American troops because of women’s inability to fight and act under pressure. Anyone who knows anything about women knows that they are unfit for combat, even the most martial of them. It is just not in them, and never will be.”
Meanwhile the Kurdish women of the YPJ fighting on the frontlines with their men in Syria seemed to be doing fine albeit with ample airstrikes aiding them against ISIL.
Women fighting on the front lines doesn’t mean they are doing just fine. Their being there doesn’t mean they are doing a great (or even decent) job of it. It means their people are desperate.
@ Glenfilthie
I know almost everyone has come to accept the narrative of “Red Scare” that was effectively imposed on us by the Left, but it’s bogus. The majority of traitors outted as communists who conspired against the United States got away with it due do the Democratic Party’s political maneuverings. Run a search on “The Venona Project”.
The Red Scare is a textbook example of the Democratic Party’s diabolical capability to use National Media, Politcal Theatrics and Public Education to spin a new reality.
@JDG
The peshmerga is in a similar situation yet they refuse women access to the frontlines. And according to sources they are doing this because of ideological reasons:

The straw that broke the camel’s back for me was the ESPYs awarding Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner the Arthur Ashe Courage award.
I’ve had it with people telling me black is white, down is up, and evil is good.
I’ve had it with being expected to act as if a lie is the truth, and that delusion is reality.
As one small act of protest, I’m going to start tagging the end of every post I make–anywhere–with a single statement: BTW, Bruce Jenner is mentally ill.
Because, that is the truth. Bruce Jenner is not courageous, nor is he a role model. He doesn’t need awards and admiration; he doesn’t need people encouraging his descent into mental illness; he needs help to deal with his problem.
Will this make a difference? I don’t know, but we’ve seen recently that the reason the left and SJWs dominate isn’t because the are so numerous or the majority of people agree with them. It’s because nobody stands up to them. When people do stand up to them, the so called SJW army howls and screams, and then quickly crumbles. If we never declare the truth, we have handed the victory to those that declare the lie.
BTW, Bruce Jenner is mentally ill.
Once again, instead of bringing media stories of brave women fighting for their freedom, why not bring the stats to show how many are men fighting on the front lines compared to how many are women. I also used to hear quite a bit from feminists about how Israeli women are required to join the army for service and would never hear the end of it, until I found out the truth. Israeli women don’t serve on the front line, they don’t do much combat. Instead they post selfies of themselves all dressed up in combat gear with make-up on.
As always, I’m not one to argue, let the women fight it out.
The way things are going this is good news. I truly believe the military will be used at one point on the American people. I don’t want the most productive and capable men in the military with their heart into it..
This.
Anyone who has spent any time on active duty in the U.S. military over three-plus decades and who has even a shred of honesty and self-awareness (admittedly probably a tiny minority) knows full well that all of the rhetoric about the U.S. military “defending freedom” is pure, unadulterated bovine excrement. The U.S. military is nothing but an imperial hit squad serving the Ruling One Percent, a hit squad thatOone Percent will not hesitate to turn on the peasantry should it get too “uppity.” Let it be staffed by the dregs of humanity and continue to turn into the world’s laughingstock! I, for, one, look forward to the day when the new aircraft carrier USS Harvey Milk (CVN 90) is launched and manned with an all gay/transgendered crew and deployed on an offensive combat mission against a REAL enemy such as Russia or China.
Reading those stories about how women fighters are breaking new ground and all that crap, reminded me of Rush Limbaugh’s coverage of the Jessica Lynch story. He had several astute callers call in and say that the story the media was putting out to the public sounded like BS. Of course, being the predictable TradCon, Rush began scoffing at the callers with BluePill shaming language accusing the callers of having insecurities about their manliness and they couldn’t accept the fact that a woman could kick butt just like men!
Turns out, the callers were right and the BluePill, woman pedastalizers were wrong. Jessica Lynch’s story was a fabrication of a US psy-ops group.
RedBulls may give you wings but RedPills give you glasses to see the world for what it is.

———————————————————————————–
Thanks – I will check that out. I have no doubt you are correct in that. But for the peons and regular guys that didn’t merit Donk protection? They got crucified – by mobs of idiots that probably couldn’t even tell the difference between a socialist or a capitalist!
Bringing all this back to regular guys like me and you: outside my wife and I, our combined families are largely failed liberal social experiments. We all have kids that aren’t growing up, our siblings are all divorced and on their second marriage, and our parents are elderly baby boomer cretins that encouraged the ass-hattery and ‘liberal family values’ that resulted in the schmoz we have today. It is really a microcosm of the current big picture we have at present. My idiotic brother in law married a feminist school teacher – and he’s a school principal: both are rabid lefties, their two kids have ‘learning problems’ (commie for ‘no discipline’) and any one of us here could have predicted a failed marriage a mile away. Their finances are a nightmare that any one of us here could fix tomorrow (basically balance your cheque book and budget, stupid). The point is – my family is taking liberal stupid pills and walking off a cliff and if my wife or I say anything – the response is derisive laughter and contempt! Or rage. A reasoned debate won’t work. Even if they survive the fall after having walked off the cliff, these idiots will get up, dust themselves off – and walk out into high speed traffic.
As a reasoning conservative I have concluded the following: 85% of all human beings are irredeemable, uneducable f-tards. They are incapable of learning from the mistakes of others, they can’t learn from their own mistakes and they are a hazard to anyone within shrapnel range. Even when they are out on the street, cold and hungry – those idiots will keep doing the things that put them there, and they will hate anyone smart enough to change their circumstances.
Contrary to popular opinion the Repubs aren’t stupid – they just won’t pick fights they can’t win. Nor does it make sense to win battles and lose wars. Sometimes, after stupid people have been punched, kicked, bitten and run over…they are amenable to reason. Right now it’s a waiting game and the Repubs know it.
>The family of seven, which describes itself as polyfidelitous, also includes Skinner’s husband, Jonathon, their sons Gray, 12, and Darwin, 5, plus a third partner, Alex, and her daughter, Emily, 12.
Oh Lord Have Mercy! Father is an open cuckold, albeit with a lesbian, while their little boy doesn’t want to be a man someday. Who could have predicted this?
A Regular Guy,
You are right that the core problem today is that the gospel is no longer taught by most churches (that’s right MOST churches, as in the majority of churches no longer teach the gospel).
Following the “prosperity gospel” Joel Osteen preaches will no more make someone a Christian than following Joseph Smith’s “Mormon gospel” will make someone a Christian.
Yet, not only do most churches not shun Osteen (as they should), they actually embrace him. Rick Warren (the most influential pastor in the US), for example, has recommended Osteen as a pastor others should follow.
Joel Osteen’s prosperity gospel is not THE gospel.
Rick Warren’s purpose driven gospel is not THE gospel.
Creflo Dollars word of faith gospel is not THE gospel.
Robert Morris’ blessed life tithing gospel is not THE gospel.
Unfortunately, most churches in America are teaching some variation of the above 4 non-gospels. A message that amounts to what God can do for you now; to improve your life now. All preach some variation of having your best life now. That’s not THE gospel.
Millions of people attend church every week not because they have repented of their sins and put their faith in a risen Christ, but because they believe if only the have enough faith, speak the right words, act the right way, and tithe enough that God will be pleased with them and that God will then bless them with prosperity, purpose, and health–now, in this life. That’s not THE gospel.
Jesus taught that we must take up our cross; that the world would hate us for His sake; that we would be persecuted. Jesus promised we would have peace in this life, but he never promised the Christian life would be an easy life.
Perhaps now would be a good time for God-and-country Christians to stop confusing America for God’s country, our military for God’s army, and political activism for Christian living.
“Come out from amongst them, and be ye separate.”

If you want to believe feminist propaganda that’s up to you. The fact is that women are not able to tow the line like men can. They are not physically or mentally as capable as men in combat situations. Any one putting women into combat is doing it for ideological reasons (as demonstrated in the links you gave) and not practical ones.
Perhaps now would be a good time for God-and-country Christians to stop confusing America for God’s country, our military for God’s army, and political activism for Christian living.
“Come out from amongst them, and be ye separate.”
Amen.
My response to this ties into the response I was going to give to new anon’s post above.
The typical American “Christian” is nothing of the kind. Whether he consciously admits it or not, or indeed whether or not he even knows it, he is an adherent of secular modernist pragmatism, a seeker of the earthly material wellbeing whose sole purpose in attending church is to confer a vague spiritual sanction upon his fleshly desires. He has no intention whatsoever of giving up his worldly ways to take up the cross of Jesus, for that requires a faith and devotion in Jesus that he has never had. To actually submit to the forgiveness and will of the resurrected Jesus is just too much of a sacrifice. Only “rear echelon” action is tolerable (e.g., tithing, works vaguely connected to churchian activities, sitting through Sunday sermons).
American warvangelicals are merely another manifestation of this. They don’t really have any faith in the power of the cross, nor do they believe in the love of Jesus (if they did, they would be calling for missionaries to be sent to the Islamic world rather than Caesar’s legions, maybe even volunteering for the task themselves). It’s much easier to use someone else’s flesh and blood to vicariously fight the worldly battles that excite the darker side of your soul than to put your own feet forward and your heart first and risk your own life to share the love of Jesus.
Tl;dr version: American warvangelicals are rabid American nationalists and Caesar worshipers first and third-rate lukewarm churchians a very distant second (or third, or fourth …).

Yep! Let’s see the stats. Right now all I see are lowered PT and test score requirements for women.
And then there is this:
http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/07/12/12684555-women-in-the-infantry-forget-about-it-says-female-marine-officer?lite
From the link: Even though she was a standout Bowdoin athlete and could bench press 145 pounds and squat 200 pounds, was ranked 4th out of a class of 52 in Officer Candidate School and excelled at Marine Corps fitness tests, Petronio’s deployment in combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan took a brutal toll on her 5-foot-3-inch body. … “By the fifth month into the deployment, I had muscle atrophy in my thighs that was causing me to constantly trip and my legs to buckle with the slightest grade change,” she wrote. “My agility during firefights and mobility on and off vehicles and perimeter walls was seriously hindering my response time and overall capability.
When I wrote the following: “Any one putting women into combat is doing it for ideological reasons (as demonstrated in the links you gave) and not practical ones.“, it was with the understanding that we were discussing a people who are not necessarily desperate. Even a sane (non-feminist) people will resort to using women (and children) in combat when desperate.
What Novaseeker said in his first post is right, unfortunately. We can only hope to steer the derailed train away from the masses now.
J N,
I’ve been wondering if recent events might allow us to separate the wheat from the tares.
My wife told me of a Facebook friend who, when the Supreme Court legalized gay marriage, changed his picture to a rainbow and proclaimed what a great day it was. He is also one of the primary singers in a local mega-church’s praise band.
Is he a Christian? Is he indwelt by the Holy Spirit?
BTW, Bruce Jenner is mentally ill.
Even Nero had the decency to make his boy lover a eunuch before he married him/her.
@new anon:
“Christian” means adhering to a religious group with specific practices. Unitarian-Universalists aren’t considered Christian anymore, although they might have been in the 19th century (and even then people had doubts). So I would say no.
Is he indwelt with the Holy Spirit? I am not sure. I wouldn’t argue he is any more or less deceived than Christians who think it’s OK for a woman to fornicate or commit adultery, “repent”, and then remarry as much she wants (whilst collecting child support payments from her child’s father, whom she makes sure has limited custody). I am not willing to make gay marriage the hill to die on. I think the hill to die on was the destruction of the family several generations prior. Frankly, two guys having a tea party celebrating their “union” doesn’t really bother me to the same degree that spawning generation after generation of kids who are not allowed to be with their fathers does.
I would, however, argue that most of the inhabitants of a mega-church do not live Christian lives; most of their leadership do not; and the worship team worships in neither spirit nor in truth. If I were they, I would be pleading with Jesus for the salvation of my soul. (I did just that 12 months ago. I got born again. I stopped believing same sex marriage was right, quit showing up to church just when I played on the worship team, quit fornicating, and decided that remarrying whilst my ex-wife is living was wrong.)
Cluster B, perhaps. Jenner has made a series of choices leading to his present condition. I know people with real mental illness. They have true delusions like thinking people are talking to them that are not there. Jenner is fully aware of his condition and simply chooses to indulge it.
@feeriker:
feeriker, you seem to understand it. Submission to both Jesus’ words and Pauline Christianity is required. Otherwise, you aren’t a Christian, no matter how much you bleat that you are. Paul set up a system that, simply spoken, could not ever be churchian.
The more I think about it, the more I think we’re missing a hat-trick here. After all, the Trans-Genderism argument invokes the same typically female solipsism, the same ‘Denial of Reality’ indulged in by Feminism, making it susceptible to its own inherent contradictions in the same way that the Female Imperative is susceptible to PUA strategy. So why not ‘Agree & Amplify’?
By fully embracing Conceptual Trans-Genderism (aka ‘the idea that social gender is entirely divorced from its physical, biological or sexual definition’), the Military can free itself from any & all gender-related quotas by fiat, simply by adopting ‘gender’ as a purely social (non-biological) construct, allowing it to claim universal gender integration without altering any of the current (purely physical) performance requirements.
Perhaps the time has come for all ‘right-thinking’ men to follow suit & self-liberate by checking the ‘female’ box on every official form that comes our way. . Selective Service? Prison time? Alimony payments? No thanks, I self-identify as female today. Affirmative action? Aid to Women & dependent children? The right to deny consent retroactively? Why thank you very much !!
@recidivist: It would make life quite interesting if men suddenly declared themselves to be women, tomorrow, en masse.
Once I mistakenly used the wrong pronoun referring to myself (typing “her” for “he”) in a Facebook post. I then had a half dozen private messages from friends who told me I was brave for coming out and that they’d be there to support me. Despite my sentence being ungrammatical. It was awkward to explain that, no, I am doing no such thing, also, I had no idea that YOU supported such things…

That would be a very effective way to quickly prove what we already know: that the law is biased wholly in favor of women/gays/transgendered and against heterosexual males, especially white ones. Any WHM who checks the “female” box on any government form will quickly find himself prosecuted for fraud, fined the equivalent of his local GDP, and will be handed the stiffest prison sentence possible for doing so.
No and no. He may be indwelt by a spirit, but it’s certainly not the Holy one.
BTW, I wonder how many other churchians will “come out” now that the SCOTUS has spoken? How many of their churches will applaud them for doing so rather than call them to repentance and/or defellowship/excommunicate them till they do?
Senator McCain like Rep Thornberry is looking to the administration for leadership on the topic.
BTW, it speaks volumes (of unsavory things) about the state of my residence that it continues to allow this traitorous megalomaniac to keep his Senate seat.

2015 — Christians need to respect the fact that America is a gay country

Why ask Prudence? I guess it could be worse. He could be asking those feminists at CAF.
@TFH: The 1920s were a time noted for its decadence, although not to the level we see in 2015. The 1930s were then a time of great financial distress. We all know what came next, both in Europe and in America.
Berlin in the 1920s was noted for its inclusivity and its acceptance of alternative lifestyles, including homosexuality. It was also one of the best places for Jews to live, and they were fully integrated into society.
Wilson @ 7:09 am:
“Government now has the tech to wage war on the population using very few core personnel,”
I’ve been thinking about this and reached the conclusion that while this is true, using tech to control a population will result in an economy-based tyranny rather than a force-based tyranny. It’s much easier to control people’s bank accounts, cell phones and Internet than their physical bodies. No doubt there’ll be blood spilled but as George Orwell pointed out, the most effective tyranny is one in which dissent is not even possible. I’m far more worried about a cashless society than drone strikes.
This totally explains why banksters are scalp-deep in today’s mess. They see a chance to become gods, with entire nations lacking even the ability to oppose them. Do they want to silence dissent? Cut phone service. Are you donating to the wrong causes? They can stop the payment.
I wonder if the EU is using Greece as a test case for economic enslavement of a country. There must be something more to their story than just bank troubles but of course the Cathedral isn’t interested in giving good answers, let alone good questions.
recidivist,
We could start with draft registration. Only those that self identify as a male need to register.
feeriker,
I agree. My point wasn’t (as J N assumed) that we, as Christians, should live or die on this issue. It was that this issue–gay marriage–is so OBVIOUSLY at odds with the Bible, that it can serve as a “red flag.”
I do agree with J N that the state of heterosexual marriage should be of a bigger concern to Christians that gay marriage.
TFH,
It’s amazing how quickly we’ve gone from gay marriage to the normalization of trans. It’s been what, a week since the court decision?
I’m not so sure the left isn’t overplaying its hand with this one.
@TFH, they aren’t overplaying their hand – the push for trans* acceptance has been in the works for a while. The single-gender bathroom movement started a few years ago.
I used to associate with queer leftists. Their long term goal is to get acceptance of polyamorous relationships, and, spoken of in more hushed tones, acceptance of cross-generational same-sex relationships. Most lesbians think they should be allowed to have sexual relationships with girls as young as 13 or 14. It’s quite disturbing stuff, really. (As a straight, white male I, of course, kept my mouth shut, because privilege and heirarchy and patriarchy and stuff, right? A lesbian woman is speaking. Of course she is right.)
Acceptance of polygamy will be next, if only because it can be done as a sop to Muslims, whom leftists are ever-eager to embrace. After that will come some sort of change to laws concerning ages of consent in same-sex relationships.
Eventually I expect our society to fully embrace prostitution and pederasty. We’ll be a cross between Athenian Greece and Sodom.
@Dalrock:
Yesterday I tried to comment as “The Original Laura” but my comment never showed up. (I decided that this would reduce confusion, as there are now three Lauras commenting on this website.)
If you decide not to recognize me as “The Original Laura” you will be forcing me to become “Laurence, formerly known as Laura.” I’ve always been cis-gendered, so I’m hoping that I can keep using the name Laura in some form, but this IS your website, and I can be flexible if needs must.
Sincerely,
Laura/The Original Laura/”Laurence”
[D: Ha. Strange. I checked the spam bin and it wasn’t there. I have no objection. Feel free to try again.]
I beg to disagree, folks.
Your grim predictions left out one humongous factor: that of divine influence/intervention. For some reason, I still have this settled feeling that things won’t go as the leftists planned.
When I read about Hillary Clinton, and when I listen to many democrats and even Republicans, they make it look like fait accompli that Hillary will be our next president.
Well, I’ve got news for ya. Anyone wanna bet that Hillary will never be America’s president?
Well, you read it here first. You’ll confirm it soon enough.
Dave,
Divine intervention hasn’t happened in Canada yet, and we are well past where America is. Why would God intervene and give America wonderful political leaders?
I’d think that places with thriving persecuted churches might be a bit more deserving – like happened in Russia in 1991 or Ethiopia in 1991.
If God would send his blessing in that way on any country, my pick would be China. Some towns now are 15% Christian.
As a transveteran of our foreign wars, I’m offended by the disrespect of this post towards the people of services that have sacrificed so much for this country.
Divine intervention hasn’t happened in Canada yet, and we are well past where America is. Why would God intervene and give America wonderful political leaders?
Maybe the real Christian folks in Canada merely stood by and let things happened to them rather than them happening to things. Some Christians in America are seeking the face of God and asking Him to intervene in our country. And we strust that He will.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

I’m not so sure the left isn’t overplaying its hand with this one.
I think we are past the point where the left CAN over play it’s hand. Leftist thinking is pretty much all that’s left now. If they wanted to start the gulags tomorrow, they probably could.
(yes, if you were in Cyprus, 10% of your bank account was taken). That is big news, but mostly blacked out….
This is huge. The only tiny little bright spot in that little tid bit is the fact that they felt it should be hidden at all.
“I think we are past the point where the left CAN over play it’s hand. Leftist thinking is pretty much all that’s left now. If they wanted to start the gulags tomorrow, they probably could.”
The second amendment is stopping them for now
This is just a test.
Regarding the military, it was Stalin who put women on the front lines against the Wehrmacht. After appalling losses, the use of women’s battalions was rescinded. It did have an effect, though: Germans soldiers were demoralized, asking themselves what sort of beast would put women on the front line
Actually the Red Army deployed women in various roles throughout the war, and not only in all-women’s units. This was done mainly due to simple military necessity, i.e. the immense demand for personnel, and cultural reasons, not due to ideological considerations. There’s no tradition of chivalry in Russia, which means there’s no social pressure to discriminate in favor of women.
Here’s a short interview with a fighter pilot and a tank driver, both of them female veterans of the Battle of Kursk:

The majority of traitors outted as communists who conspired against the United States got away with it due do the Democratic Party’s political maneuverings. Run a search on “The Venona Project”.
The problem, so to speak, was that the existence of the Venona Project was a state secret throughout the Cold War, so it wasn’t possible to use it as evidence in court in any trial for treason.
So, if the military is being required to embrace transgenderism, I guess you could consider this an ROTC camp then?
http://www.slate.com/blogs/behold/2013/07/15/_you_are_you_looks_at_a_gender_nonconforming_camp_for_boys_photos.html?wpsrc=sh_all_dt_tw_top
WF Price at The Spearhead predicted a lot of this (which is why it is a tragedy that those archives are deleted).
He also predicted that feminists will recruit MRAs as allies against their struggle against tradcons. Which is the kind of nonsense you’d expect from a psychologically damaged, demoralized tradcon chump like him, who’s apparently unable to learn from his mistakes. It wasn’t a “tragedy”, it was his own idiocy.
Tradcons say that Men’s Rights are redundant, because TradCons already are doing everything that can be done to fix CS, alimony injustice, false rape, etc. They are shaming men, and that is all that should be done!
The denial of Tradcons is astounding. They are hell-bent on saying that Men’s Rights are not needed, just because Social Conservatives already have it covered.
Tradcons and MRAs are trying to recruit supporters mostly from the same demographic, namely single men that are currently passive politically – hence the animosity. This isn’t something tradcons can openly admit, so they invent nonsense out of thin air to explain this animosity.
Divine intervention hasn’t happened in Canada yet, and we are well past where America is. Why would God intervene and give America wonderful political leaders?
Why, because America is God’s chosen country, second only to Israel, donchaknow? Just ask any American warvangelical churchian if ya don’t believe me.
This is a logical conclusion from the 2nd stage feminist dogma, Gender is a social construct. I have no idea how far the stupidity, the anti-scientism, the utterly shrill denial of reality that is feminism can be pushed, but clearly we will be finding that out. A lot of otherwise blameless people are going to suffer in various ways to satisfy the bizarre conceits of a tiny handful of radicals who are playing out their own mental issues with other people’s lives.
There’s no way that transgenderism can be anything other than a profoundly disruptive influence, in my opinion with a great deal of downside.
Anonymous Reader @ 6:04 pm:
“There’s no way that transgenderism can be anything other than a profoundly disruptive influence, in my opinion with a great deal of downside.”
Definitely. One reason I still participate in the Manosphere after quitting women is the realization of how much our sexuality impacts the other parts of our lives. Tolerating sodomy, for example, has the side effect of sexualizing male-male behavior among straights, which is a major reason why male spaces are gone now… because 98.5% of men are disgusted at even the thought of acting in such a perverse manner, even when their ideology demands they hide it.
On the upside, it’s getting funny watching the evildoers try to not admit to what they’re obviously doing.
Journalist: Congressmen, do you approve of alternative sexual identities in the military?
Beelzebub: “The department needs to look at a variety of policies. As long as they look at it objectively, based on what’s best for the security interests of the country, then we’ll oversee or review what they do.”
Jesus: “No.”
I think the appropriately descriptive term for the ‘Pubs forthcoming capitulation is “swan-dive,” rather than “roll over.”
Hells Hound:
“There’s no tradition of chivalry in Russia, which means there’s no social pressure to discriminate in favor of women.”
Yes, that is interesting. I suspect that applies to Eastern Europe too. Chivalry was mostly a Western European courtly invention.
I have noticed that Eastern European women tend to be earthy and realistic about their sex.
Sunshine, this has been going on also with Race and Ethnicity, long before Rachel Doezel. Every year, millions of actual white people (of some remote Spanish ethnicity) claim Hispanic/Latino ancestry when applying for jobs, college loans, college entrance, promotions, etc. The federal government in 2007 (?) made it official that within the feds, HR has to accept whatever race/ethnicity someone calls themselves. The ONLY exception to this madness is actual Native/Indian ancestry, which has to be documented for most affirmative action activities.
I suspect “Trans”, also not having solid lines, but instead a spectrum will soon develop the same interlopers. “What, do you think we ALL have to dress/look like a woman to be “trans-female?”. It was the logical conclusion of race and ethnic based policies, that consider Colin Powell black, and Shakira a “woman of color”, along with a host of other “Latinos”. If Bruce can be a white female, why can’t any man be a “black female”? It’s no less or more absurd, either way you look at it.
Dalrock, we totally blew it not getting Romney elected POTUS in 2012. Apparently, our nation is not deserving of a man of his character. And in this bunch, the only candidate with any balls to tell it like it is, is the twice divorced lecherous pervert, Donald Trump.

Thanks for your reply.
I’m sure that the Red Army used women in a variety of posts due to the man-shortage inflicted by the war (and by Stalin’s purges prior to it). What I should have defined was that Stalin initially thought that one human was as good as another in war, so women-only divisions saw service and got wiped out.
One Russian friend told me that in her mother’s generation, the post-war ratio of women to men in Soviet Russia was 200: 3, since so many had been killed.
The Israeli Army, the most out-numbered in the world, didn’t use women on the front line,as they found that they could not throw a grenade far enough to avoid blowing themselves up. Since then they have been put into support, armour and other areas, but not heavy combat. What the hell, since Tel Aviv calls itself the LGBTIQ capital of the world, they should experiment with putting the said community through military service. Let’s see….
@ Hells Hound
You’re are correct. So while there was sufficient circumstantial evidence that warranted security investigations for those the House UnAmerican Activities Committee (H.U.A.C.) and Joseph McCarthy named as security risks, the Democrats expertly outmaneuvered any attempt by H.U.A.C. and McCarthy. To this day, the fiction that has been sold to the public about this scandal is regarded as Gospel Truth.
Even this melodramatic line from the excerpt below, “Have you no decency, sir?” is simply Theatrics. It was noted by witnesses that after the hearing was adjourned, Senator Welch was high-fiveing guys in the halls of the Senate about how he shut him down. It was played so well, that this video has become a staple when Government Indoctrination Centers teach this fraud to children.
When a man with no decency calls out another man for having no decency, how can you shame him? McCarthy was stunned by the gall of Welch and it worked.
Side Note: The days of “Good Journalism” in America never existed. Famed news anchor Edward R. Murrow was responsible for the hitpiece interview that turned the tide of public opinion against McCarthy and ultimately brought an end to the hearings.
There’s enough material there between The Venona Project, Senator McCarthy and H.U.A.C. to make one hell of a Political Drama movie, assuming Hollywood doesn’t get it’s hands on it first.
Socialism is proof positive you can get an otherwise secular people to buy into myths and fables with the all religiosity of a theistic framework.
correction: …”outmaneuvered any attempt by H.U.A.C. and McCarthy to initiate public investigations of people with possible ties to the KGB.
Actually the Red Army deployed women in various roles throughout the war, and not only in all-women’s units. This was done mainly due to simple military necessity, i.e. the immense demand for personnel, and cultural reasons, not due to ideological considerations.
Women tended to find themselves in roles better suited to them (according to the people in charge) – e.g. tank crews, snipers, pilots, and urban defense. In all of those situations heavy lifting and lengthy travels were generally not required (and in most cases, hand-to-hand combat could be avoided entirely).
But there was indeed an immense demand for personnel. There’s one story that makes that point: a gun factory in the USSR that, when the guns were off the production line, would be tested not at a range but on the advancing German forces just outside the factory. The desperation of such a situation will put kids as young as five on a factory floor producing anti-aircraft guns.
Apparently, our nation is not deserving of a man of his character.
I don’t know Mr. Romney well enough to comment on his character, but I will agree that this nation did get the leader it deserves. A feminist leader for a feminist nation, a pro-abortion leader for a pro-abortion nation, a pro-sodomy leader for a pro-sodomy nation, etc.

A junior pastor of a local church is in favor of SSM. I don’t think that it’s necessarily a salvation issue, but I do think it’s proof that even Spirit-filled Christians can be in error. As Al Pacino said, free will is a b****.
“There’s enough material there between The Venona Project, Senator McCarthy and H.U.A.C. to make one hell of a Political Drama movie, assuming Hollywood doesn’t get it’s hands on it first.”
–You’ve just written up this phase of our history very well; but I think we all know the very LAST thing Hollywood will ever do is tell the true story, or even a “Devil’s Advocate”-type take, of those Un-American activities.
The youtube presence known as “Mr Plinkett”, famed for his hysterical (and NSFW) takedowns of the Star Wars prequels, did a long dance around this issue in his send-up of the 4th Indiana Jones movie. You’ve got the Red Scare Feds threatening Indy; anti-Communist marches on a 50s university campus; a villain who says, “What can I say? I’m a CAPITALIST”; and a general skittishness about treating the Soviets as real, you know, Bad Guys. But Mr Plinkett, for all his un-PC humor, can’t really make himself come out and say that Spielberg et. al. are circling the tribal wagons here.
But we’ve all been indoctrinated all our lives that McCarthy was on the brink of burning the Reichstag because he had the gall to call out atheist J*ws for doing what, to them, was J*w*sh business as usual, Healing the World, quite above the purview of mere American law. This is a narrative Hollywood has never tired of revisiting, just as my World Almanac 2013 places in the 1950s page of its primer of history a photo of the poor traduced innocent snowflake Rosenbergs, those still-supreme martyrs, slain by American bigotry and right-wing hysteria.
This is reasonably fair to McCarthy:

The high-five was not invented until after the 1950s.
Yes, and the high-five is an American thing only.
I once saw an evolutionary psychologist make some sort of suggestion that the “high-five” might be a primitive primate gesture. I had to point out it is clearly cultural, and fairly recent. I should check Desmond Morris’ book on human gestures, but I am fairly sure he does not include it.
@JDG
Certainly agreed with your point. This is especially true of the pre-gunpowder era. But given the effectiveness of the gun does not depend on physical prowess so much anymore(read a news article about a toddler accidently pulling the trigger of a pistol in her mothers handbag and shooting his mother dead). The gun gives the weak a more equal footing with the strong wielding the same weapon unlike musclepowered pre-gunpowder era weapons.
So I am sort of open to this idea. Given also by the fact that the most effective snipers were women in the Soviet women. I will not rule out technology having changed the game.
*Soviet union.
From JDG’s comment: [i]From the link: Even though she was a standout Bowdoin athlete and could bench press 145 pounds and squat 200 pounds, was ranked 4th out of a class of 52 in Officer Candidate School and excelled at Marine Corps fitness tests, Petronio’s deployment in combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan took a brutal toll on her 5-foot-3-inch body. … “By the fifth month into the deployment, I had muscle atrophy in my thighs that was causing me to constantly trip and my legs to buckle with the slightest grade change,” she wrote. “My agility during firefights and mobility on and off vehicles and perimeter walls was seriously hindering my response time and overall capability.[/i]
I remember in high school only being in maybe the top 50% ish of the lifters in high school… benching 205. And I was probably in the bottom 40% squatting 245. That 5′-3″ woman was a ‘standout athlete’? Are you kidding me?
Mind you that was a red pill moment of my teenage years… the female lifters, who looked ripped…were lifting in the range of that ‘standout athlete’…and 160 lb. me at the time was making them look like weaklings… how bad must they have looked against the guys squatting 400~600 lbs and benching above 300 lbs?
“Petronio’s deployment in combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan took a brutal toll on her 5-foot-3-inch body … ”
Gee, really?
Does anyone else ever get the feeling that we are being trolled by journalists?

The Rosenbergs aren’t nearly as remarkable as the lunatics who, to this day, profess their innocence. A mountain of evidence that can be used to convict them of treason 5 times over without using the same material twice can’t penetrate the demonic solipsism of their apologists. This insanity is so woven into their identity as human beings you would swear they would burst into confetti made from voter registration cards at the thought of admitting they were wrong.
@ Infowarrior1
A big part of squad-based tactics is bound and overwatch. It involves at lot of shooting, moving and communicating. I can tell you, in the Louisiana summer heat of Ft. Polk, the guys will struggle with “running lanes” after just a few times. It doesn’t sound like a lot, until you have to do it at full speed with all your kit on.
Maybe when our future Army has battlefield technicians in armored vehicles being escorted by remote mech units they control from inside the vehicle via an iPad, sure. As it is today, women can’t keep up.
Not to mention, when this issue is discussed, rarely does anyone take into account the drama women cause in their units. It’s just not worth it.

That may have had some impact, but really the reason why this happened had much more to do with how aggressive feminism was in getting rid of “male only spaces”. In the 1980s and 1990s, they were being very, very aggressive about that, with the idea being that having male only spaces was a way men perpetuated their privilege by keeping women out of these spaces, and the presumed access to privilege that the spaces entailed (i.e., the men bonded with each other and then favored each other, and not women — this was the theory). So one by one the male spaces all collapsed, and then once the women came into them, the men mostly left, or the spaces were so transformed that they were unrecognizable. The same thing happened with most same sex schools around the same time, and for the same reasons, really. I think that the openness of male homosexuality has probably had some impact as well, but it wasn’t the main force.
There’s no way that transgenderism can be anything other than a profoundly disruptive influence, in my opinion with a great deal of downside.
I agree. I do think it will be interesting, however. I think what we may see is that masculinity begins to come at an even higher premium than it does today, because there will be more unmasculine men who decide to do some degree of transgender — perhaps because the culture will encourage them to do so. So even fewer masculine men, and an even bigger sexual bonanza for the masculine men that remain, while more marginal men become more “fem” to some degree, moving in the direction of transgender.
@ Regular Guy
“Not to mention, when this issue is discussed, rarely does anyone take into account the drama women cause in their units. It’s just not worth it.”
You don’t understand. The drama is the fault of the men she doesn’t want to have sexual relations with anymore. This is what woman and Leon Panetta want:
1. Ugly or average woman joins service branch with a 10:1 ratio of Men to Women
2. Eagerly absorbs extra attention and help from White Knight faggots
3. Finds someone in leadership to have relations with.
4. Leverage that relationship for promotion, or sexual harassment lawsuit (SHARP)
5. Repeat at new unit after prior leadership is punished or retired or resigned
This situation, the drama, the power, the lawsuit, it is all part of the plan. This is exactly what is supposed to happen. This destroys camaraderie.
This is ALL women in ALL branches of service. (2 SD 95+% for all the aspies)
But wait! There is more!
No doubt some White Knight Faggots are going to storm in here talking about their service member wife who never had a train run on her.
(of course, your wife is a special unique snowflake of special unique specialness who never blew your friends while you were deployed)
Or how they new a female in such and such a unit who was great and pulled her weight and didn’t SHARP any of the guys in her unit, blah blah blah..
You don’t know this girl, she didn’t pull her weight. You were helping her, or someone else was, loading equipment, pulling slack for her reduced PT test. You were not sleeping with her but somebody was, she found someone who tickled her hypergamy, you are just too self deluded to admit it.
Sunshine, this has been going on also with Race and Ethnicity, long before Rachel Doezel. Every year, millions of actual white people (of some remote Spanish ethnicity) claim Hispanic/Latino ancestry when applying for jobs, college loans, college entrance, promotions, etc.
Conversely, most police departments and the FBI lump all Hispanic crime into the White category. Golly gee, can’t imagine why.

It is a terrible thing: One cannot even go for a drink at a Bar without some under-dressed woman asserting that one looked at her for a micro-second too long – it has happened to me.
Now that there are no male spaces (even London clubs like The Liberal Club or The Atheneum have to allow women entrance) any male space is thus labelled de-facto Gay – are women allowed into Gay Bath-houses, and if not, why not? – I am sure Trannies must be more than welcome. This is of course consistent with Racial Integration and rainbow-coloured sexuality which in my view is caused by unavailability of women. Men thus become effeminate male-feminists. A conversation – I think I was listening rather than being involved, but I forget – a middle aged Rotarian was sheepishly explaining to another man that now [big nervous smile] they allow women in too – they had one; a little East Asian (business) woman. The men’s wives would not have liked that, but as soon as the number increased to two, a quorum of women is formed and men start caving-in. The Rotary Club (and others like The Lions cannot last long, now). My Mother told me that they now allow men in the local Women’s Institute – the odd hen-pecked husband attends.
Are there any separations left? How about Generation apartheid – I would rather chew nettles than speak to a minor – say anyone under the age of twenty-one – just to be on the safe side. And here is a strange thing – I was in Soho last month for the Gay Pride Parade (I did not realise it was on) and I noticed, off Brewer Street, a Stage had been erected and above the Stage was a sign reading Woman’s Stage. Being curious about this blatant sexism, I went up to the stage and a band were rehearsing – they looked like males to me, but perhaps they were just Manlets or Butch Dykes. In Japan they have women only railway carriages (for those women who don’t enjoy Chikan) – presumably any woman who rides in the mixed cars is up for the kind of experience I learn about from Jap Porn.
Oh, I have no doubt that Petronio was a standout athlete at Bowdoin… among the women’s athetics teams. Which would have put her at no better than average in a group of men, and well below average in a group of highly-trained men.
As for Israeli women soldiers, I have no doubt that despite the inherent problems, it’s still useful to Israel to have women soldiers, because of the nature of the threat Israel is facing. When any minute you might get some terrorist opening fire in one of your cafés, it’s useful to have twice as many people trained with weapons: you’ve doubled the chance that one of your soldiers might happen to be nearby, armed and ready to respond to take down the shooter. Women can fight just as well as men in a short-term gun battle where strength and long-term endurance don’t come into play, and may have an edge if the “protect my children” instinct is being triggered.
So for Israel, it does make sense to have women in their army. That doesn’t mean that Israel’s particular situation applies to the United States, which is not surrounded by enemies hell-bent on destroying us at all costs. Our soldiers need long-term strength and endurance for our typical missions, things that women are just not physically well-suited for.
Dalrock, we totally blew it not getting Romney elected POTUS in 2012.
And that comment demonstrates like nothing else why tradcons in general and Republicans in particular are such a complete joke, a laughingstock that no one takes seriously anymore.
The idea that an Establishment political hack is going to “right things,” or somehow take a stand or lead the way toward restoring order in a morally grounded, Constitution-respecting Republic is just too absurd to be real or to merit a response, given the mountains of glaringly obvious evidence to the contrary over the last few decades. I can only conclude that IBB has either been in a coma for the last few decades, or, more likely, that like most tradcons, he can’t (or more likely WON’T) recognize the chasmic difference between what tradcon politicians say/promise and what they actually DO. But we know that IBB knows better in this case, given that he is well familiar with his hero Romney’s political track record as governor of the People’s Socialist Democratic Republic of Massachussetts – a track record which differentiates Romney not at all from every libtard who has ever held that office (one word: Romneycare). If IBB really thinks that Romney as president would have stood in the way of, or even uttered a whisper of public protest against the recent SCOTUS ruling, or that American society would be on any course other than the one it’s on now, I have some beachfront property in Benson, Arizona that is just too good of a deal for him to pass up.
It’s tragic, really. For a while IBB was enjoying a long streak of lucidity, logic, and common sense. I suppose a relapse was inevitable at some point.

So even fewer masculine men, and an even bigger sexual bonanza for the masculine men that remain, while more marginal men become more “fem” to some degree, moving in the direction of transgender.
Extremely interesting thought.
Perhaps somethig like, oh, 20% of men heavily masculinized, 80% of men “femmy” to some degree, thereby clarifying certain status issues? Hmm. Who or what would be served by that bifurcation, I wonder?
Paging Rollo. Paging Rollo “Feminine Imperative” Tomassi, please pick up the rainbow courtesy phone.
Novaseeker @ 8:31 am:
“That may have had some impact, but really the reason why this happened had much more to do with how aggressive feminism was in getting rid of “male only spaces”.”
That’s part of the problem, too, but it doesn’t explain why men are not creating replacement, “underground” male spaces. Look at Prohibition as an example. Men wanted to drink, the Powers That Be outlawed drinking, so they created speakeasies. Men created an entire black market to get what they wanted. What’s stopping men from doing that now? What aren’t men creating the close friendships we want in secret?
Because it feels very awkward when homosexual images surround us.
For me, one of the hardest parts of MGTOW is the lack of human contact. There are some days when I could really use a hug. No way am I looking for one from a California warpig but I just can’t bring myself to ask a guy friend for a long, affectionate hug. Not when “Bert and Ernie” are making magazine covers. It wasn’t like this when sodomy was punished by death or exile–adult brothers were able to share the same bed and nobody thought twice of it.
Slumlord was here a few threads back talking about women needing sexual attraction to overcome their disgust reflex. We were pretty hard on him and rightly so in that context but I wonder if he isn’t on to something. One of modern psychology’s most interesting discoveries is the high correlation between the disgust reflex and political ideology. Is it possible that liberals are trying to recruit conservatives by numbing our disgust reflexes?
No wonder, then, that the wicked try so hard to introduce perversion into the military. Forcing men to tolerate such behaviors at point blank will either kill their consciences or leave them emotionally withdrawn from such a poisoned environment. Either is beneficial for creating soulless killing machines.

“Dalrock, we totally blew it not getting Romney elected POTUS in 2012. Apparently, our nation is not deserving of a man of his character.”
You crack me up, IBB. How many times did the Elites push Romney as a good candidate for Prez? Four times? Do you honestly believe they would do that without having his soul in a little jar?
There’s no excuse for being Republican after what the party leadership did to Ron Paul. Fortunately, the Constitution Party is available and worthy of your trust. So what if we don’t win major elections yet? The Republicans are living proof that winning is a terrible strategy.

–iirc, a 45min platoon-level firefight on the Golan Heights (was it?) saw seven fully-trained and armed Israeli female infantrymen get off a total of zero rounds during the course of the engagement.
In that short-term gun battle, what came into play was Stop, Drop, and Freeze!
–Excuse the tinge of sarcasm; if I were thinking a priori, I might well still agree with your assumptions. Nonetheless, the evidence seems to indicate that the only role women can manage at all in combat is to plea with their conquerors a la the “Trojan Women”.
ferriker,
IBB has a mild case of “attention troll syndrome.”
Most of the time participates in the discussion in good faith, but occasionally he throws in something from left field (like the Romney comment) that seems to have no other purpose than to get people riled and and talking about him–IBB.
Don’t feed the trolls.

That’s probably Mrs. IBB. Many of us here have long suspected that two people are using the same avatar, given the diametrically opposing and schizophrenic nature of many of the comments.
@Opus
From Wikipedia, “In 1987 the constitution of Lions Clubs International was amended to allow for women to become members.[16] Since then many clubs have admitted women, but some all-male clubs still exist. In 2003, 8 out of 17 members at the Lions Club in Worcester, England, resigned when a woman joined the club.[17] Despite this setback the club is now flourishing with 19 members, 7 of whom are women. Women’s membership numbers continue to grow throughout the association.”
I looked this up because the Lions Club where my parents live has had female members for a long time, and my mother is a member. This town is so small that I don’t think that they have a Rotary Club or any women’s groups that aren’t directly linked to a specific church denomination.
There are men’s clubs locally — they are known as Deer Camps. But there is no question that the larger, hierarchical groups are unable to remain men-only and retain their status as charitable organizations. The American equivalents of your private men’s clubs were forced to allow women in because the clubs were seen as being powerful insiders’ networks that kept women below the Glass Ceiling.
The key to remaining all male is undoubtedly to stay small, stay quiet, and don’t build any plush facilities in a convenient location.
I wonder how men of the future will do in divorce court if they show up in drag, claiming that they self-identify as a woman.
Nothing to lose there, since he will lose anyway.
It will probably happen soon enough… then the father can claim discrimination and have the judge deposed LOL
Perhaps somethig like, oh, 20% of men heavily masculinized, 80% of men “femmy” to some degree, thereby clarifying certain status issues? Hmm. Who or what would be served by that bifurcation, I wonder?
Heh. Exactly.
Look at Prohibition as an example. Men wanted to drink, the Powers That Be outlawed drinking, so they created speakeasies. Men created an entire black market to get what they wanted. What’s stopping men from doing that now? What aren’t men creating the close friendships we want in secret?
My thought is that the society as a whole has become much more individualistic and atomized over the same period of time. There are lots of factors driving that, including a kind of rootlessness (people moving around a lot more than in the past and reluctant to put down roots anywhere) more anonymous living culture, and the rise of technology, which simultaneously encourages people to silo in like-minded groups online while not bothering that much with people in the real world. This doesn’t mean people avoid making friends, but it does mean that people are less interested in “joining” things, for the most part. All forms of communitarian life have declined over the same period of time, which makes me thing that there’s a bigger driver than increased angst about relationships with other men. I’ll bet that is a factor, for sure, but it does seem like part of a broader trend.
@Lucius Somesuch –
45 minutes is what I tend to consider a “long-term” battle. What I was thinking of when I said “short-term” was on the order of taking down a single shooter, like Jeanne Assam did at New Life Church in Colorado Springs. A few minutes max, not long enough for the physical differences between men and women to make much difference to the outcome.
Neoconservative author / speech writer David Frum had this to say when writting about “Co-ed Combat”, a book by Kingsley Browne, that details the results of putting women in combat:
“The sexes differ psychologically as well as physiologically. Women react to threat very differently from men. It seems painfully obvious to say this, but the sex hormones testerone and estrogen push the sexes to behave radically differently. Many young men will risk death rather than be seen by their peers to flinch from a fight. Women’s courage takes very different forms. Browne amasses a battery of stories of military women behaving in ways that, had they been men, would have brought accusations of dereliction of duty – or worse.”
From the book:
During the 1989 invasion of Panama,
CBS News reported that two female truck drivers had tearfully refused to drive troops to the scene of fighting, prompting an Army investigation. Two days into the investigation – and several days before it was completed – the Army announced that the women had acted appropriately. According to Army spokesmen, the two women were “exhausted” after driving under fire for nine hours …. According to officers of the infantry battalion whose soldiers were supposed to be transported, however, the women had not been driving under fire for nine hours. They had come under fire briefly in the first hour of the invasion and then spent eight hours waiting for their next mission, at one point having to be rousted from their barracks and made to stay with the trucks. … [Quoting another author, Browne adds] “The men at the scene had no doubt but that the women were afraid, not tired.”
Rest assured I am aware of Mr. Frum’s motives are to keep women out of harms way while still allowing them to “be all you can be” at the expense of men; however, the facts are the facts. Women are not suited for combat and a great many other occupations, and not just for physical reasons.

Romney has the familial background and classic facial features of the masculine ideal… in 1954. That may be why IBB (and formerly myself, I’ll admit), are charmed by him, despite not having the ideological substance to buttress the facade. In those former days, he would’ve been the wet dream of every housewife in America: Good looking, white, rich, five sons, treats wife with gallantry, etc. All of this is (from a redpill perspective) unbearably tarnished by a tinge of beta peevishness, but far moreso, the contortion of his beliefs (whatever they are, underneath it all) necessary to succeed politically in the land of Barney Frank. He’s the sizzle of a steak eaten at Goldwater’s last cookout.
Who could’ve defeated Obama in this day and age of ignorance and unsustainable entitlement? He is what leftish whites have been fantasizing about black people being like for a couple of decades, i.e. Not “scary black.” They finally found their white whale.
@Lucius Somesuch
It’s a matter of existential crisis in Israel. Also, the intelligence arm of the army would need pretty even numbers to be able to go into segregated fundamentalist spaces (both Jewish and Muslim). Perhaps it’s also even amount of conscription to do quite a bit of load shifting so that they can have, percentage wise, far many more combat ready males than other countries. No need for male doctors when you’re being shelled on a daily basis.
Unplanned pregnancy rate for women across all service branches was about 11% in 2013. It’s higher than the civilian rate. That’s 1 in 10 women undeployable at any given time.
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/12/us/12awolmom.html?_r=0
For women, the U.S. military is nothing more than another social program with the added bonus of destroying yet another coveted male space.
Ahhhhkkkk, all of you.
I like Romney because he thinks outside the box, he understands this country, economics, business, and government. He was running for POTUS for one reason and one reason only, to serve the country that has been so good to him and his family.
I say he thinks outside the box because that is exactly what he does. Romney wanted to staple a green card to the diploma of every single foreign national earning a PhD in Computer Science at a US university because they are going to pay a lot in income taxes if they stay. Call it immigration by merit, ONLY. I love it. Too bad voters didn’t love it. but it is thinking outside the box. Also he called for the disbanding of PBS saying why should the federal government have its broadcasting station and all the costs associated with that? Well that is a good question. LBJ started it with his Great Society nonsense, time to end it. Again, thinking outside the box.
Romney was way smarter than the republican leadership. He was right out front in the illegal immigration issue and the problems they were creating for this country. He properly defined the problem in the Middle East as a problem specifically with ISLAM (fundamental Islam as that.) The majority of the GOP was too pussy to do that. And saying he would offer an Executive waiver for that bachelor tax ACA on Jan 20th, 2013, again, thinking outside the box.
We blew it. None of these guys the GOP is running has a chance in hell of beating Hillary. None of them. But if it were Romney running for re-election we’d be in great shape.
About Romney,
Romney didn’t have a chance because of “one thing”. And it’s the same “one thing” that forces the Republican party to change it’s platform to accommodate more socialism, like it or not. That “one thing” is demographics. You’re still playing the game as if you have a chance at winning.
I’m calling it, America, Land of the Free, Home of the Brave is dead and it’s not coming back in our lifetime. Don’t believe me? Wait until Texas turns blue.
Hardworking, God Fearing Conservatives lost this country when they placed their faith in a political party owned by Corporate Fascists who demanded immigration be lax for cheap labor. The vote is rigged, the Constitution is dead, we are being out-bred and we are made to subsidize it all.
Let women and fags defend what’s left of this country. Our sons are more valuable as Father’s to the next generation of Americans if there is any hope change for the better in the future. If they attempt to conscript him, hide him or get him out of the country. Starve this Satanic behemoth of cannon fodder and tax revenue whenever possible.
After the Supreme Court’s ruling on Gay marriage that will be used to attack the Church, if anyone thinks I’ll stick my neck out for this country, forget it. The Secular, Establishment Conservatives will watch our Churches close one-by-one and not batt an eyelash, but scream bloody murder when the Democrats come for our guns again and I will simply laugh.
That doesn’t mean that Israel’s particular situation applies to the United States, which is not surrounded by enemies hell-bent on destroying us at all costs.
That’s standard Hasbara bullshit. Just saying. You don’t even need to look further for evidence than the First Arab-Israeli War. Even then, Israel’s army was larger and better-equipped than all the attacking forces combined, and the Transjordanian Arab Legion, which was the only Arab armed force capable of effectively waging modern warfare, was very noticeable in its lack of attempts to actually threaten Israel’s existence, since the king of Transjordan was only interested in annexing parts of the West Bank. And all military threats Israel has faced since 1948 were of a caliber much smaller than even that.
When any minute you might get some terrorist opening fire in one of your cafés, it’s useful to have twice as many people trained with weapons: you’ve doubled the chance that one of your soldiers might happen to be nearby, armed and ready to respond to take down the shooter.
I’d be eager to read about even one incident from anywhere in the world when a terrorist spree shooter was taken out by a female soldier.
The real reasons for women’s draft in Israel are more mundane. Askhenazim lack any cultural heritage of chivalry, just like the Russians, and Israeli political life has a strong heritage of leftism which, of course, promotes the ideology of gender equality. Plus Zionist thought was sufficiently militaristic to create a social milieu where little opposition exists to drafting women. Having said that, the Israelis never deployed female soldiers in frontline roles after 1948.
Everything Regular Guy said is spot on. Demographics is all that mattered in Romney’s loss.
http://www.anncoulter.com/columns/2012-11-14.html
Its over. Romney was as close as we are ever going to get.
Look at Prohibition as an example. Men wanted to drink, the Powers That Be outlawed drinking, so they created speakeasies. Men created an entire black market to get what they wanted. What’s stopping men from doing that now? What aren’t men creating the close friendships we want in secret?
A significant segment of women also wanted to drink, and thus to sustain a black market. If the overwhelming majority of women were as supportive of Prohibition as they are with the destruction of men’s-only places these days, you can be sure that speakeasies would’ve all been located and dissolved by the police.
Let’s not forget that the continued decline in average female quality will remain one of the most important reasons, if not the most important reason, for masculine men becoming fewer i.e. more and more men not seeing any reason to invest time and effort into cultivating the masculinity society mostly expects of them. This is something conservatives tend to conveniently forget.
I’d also predict that we’ll see more incidents of murder and other forms of violent revenge committed against alpha louts by the women they “wronged”, like Jodi Arias. As competition for the remaining alphas becomes fiercer, it’s bound to elicit such psychological reactions.
It’ll nevertheless remain true that all social problems are blamed on beta males, which means there’ll be even more measures designed to oppress and marginalize them.
Hells Hound said,“I’d be eager to read about even one incident from anywhere in the world when a terrorist spree shooter was taken out by a female soldier.”
http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_7684728
Not a female soldier, but a former police officer turned church security. So, yeah, that’s the one incident I found, but I get what you are saying.
I appreciate your points about some of Romney’s ideas, IBB. There’s no question that Romney is/was a dynamic business-philosopher, but voting is dominated by emotional decision making, it’s nearly a pure popularity contest at this point. (The very least measure that should be taken is to limit the right to vote to tax payers.) A vote for a conservative is as much based on his genuine desire for sound governance as a vote Hillary is based on her record as Secretary of State.
I’m looking forward to the unwitting satire that will unfold next year. Will Republicans reach out to America’s youth with a series of educational rap songs about tariffs? Will Hillary realize that she makes Bernie Sanders look like this year’s fresh face? Stay tuned!
One of the great things about the military is wearing a uniform to work every day.
Why?
Because then you don’t have to think about what you’re going to wear! Especially for women.
Does this top go with these bottoms? What color of eye shadow? Shoes?
I was stationed on a NSA base and the military leadership was considering a request to allow us to wear civvies to work. A friend said it was a bad idea. He said, “I love having a uniform. I don’t have to think about what to wear. I just throw my shirt at the wall and if it doesn’t stick, I wear it another day!”
But now the pentagon expects soldiers to decide from one day to the next what “gender” they are?
Talk about confusion!!
Slumlord was here a few threads back talking about women needing sexual attraction to overcome their disgust reflex. We were pretty hard on him and rightly so in that context but I wonder if he isn’t on to something.
He isn’t.
My comments on Slumlord/Social Pathologist’s post, which I thought was quite sensible myself:
https://davidcollard.wordpress.com/2015/07/01/a-comment-i-made-at-the-social-pathologist/
I went and saw The Donald at the Phoenix Convention Center yesterday. No I am not. I just wanted to go to see what it was like. He’s funny.
There were (at most) 50 protestors. They just kept yelling f bombs at everyone, yelling f bombs even at the little kids waiting in line, telling everyone we are all racist and we’re all going to Hell right along with TrumpMchaliburtonBushHitler. Maybe 5 of them were wearing those BS V for Vendetta masks that were at the Occupy Wall Street Bullsh-t. Cops did nothing, didn’t even touch them. They just stood there like drones. No was arrested.
We get inside and a black Pastor leads us all in prayer. Then we go through these long lists of Amens very Christian.
So Sheriff Joe comes out and says of his 8500 inmates, about 38% are illegal aliens. Everyone howls, kick ’em out of the country, rah RAH! Red meat!
Then this mother of a slain Maricopa County police office comes on and she says her son was killed by an illegal immigrant. This guy who killer her son had been arrested 3 other times, but never deported because Democrats wouldn’t hear of it. So he goes on a meth bender and drives the wrong way down a highway and runs head on into her son’s car and kills him instantly. And I’m thinking, Trump is pretty smart putting her on.
Then we had (like) 30 minutes of music, both kinds, Country AND Western.
Then we got Trump. He comes out with the full comb over, everyone goes nuts. He talks about PGA renting something of his and then calling him to tell him they were cancelling. So he smiles and says….. “So I cashed their deposit, and rented it out to someone else for more money. Two for One!” Everyone screams, hell yeah!
Then he talks about NASCAR and the thing they cancelled. It was one of his ballrooms somewhere in Miami or something or other. So he smiles and says “SO I cashed their deposit….” Now everyone is laughing “…. and rented it out to someone else! Two for One! Hey I’m going to MAKE MONEY running for President!” Everyone howls.
Then he talks about NBC firing him and he said they begged him to do the Apprentice two months ago but he told them he couldn’t because he was going to run for President. They knew more than two months ago but had a gag order. If he went on The Apprentice (by law) every other GOP candidate would have had an hour or two in this coming season for their campaigns. He wasn’t going to do that so being “fired” by NBC was like…. nothing.
Then he gets to Macy’s. He tells us that the owner of Macy’s, his friend, called him two minutes before he was going to do some appearance somewhere to ask Trump, beg him really, to let Macy’s out of their “tie” deal with Trump. And Trump is like, “…. I don’t care, all those ties are made in China!” Everyone howls. Trump is laughing, he is having a grand old time. Then he tells everyone to cut up their Macy’s cards. I think everyone did. (Insider trading alert, I don’t even know if its publically traded or not, but if it is, dump your Macy’s stock.)
Then lastly, Trump gets to Univision. Apparently, 70% of it is owned by the Mexican government. The Mexican government makes all the rules for Univision. And as a result of what they did with the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, Trump is now suing them for….. wait for it…. $500,000,000. Yes half a billion. Everyone howls, they expect him to get it.
Then Trump introduces another token black guy, this one from Los Angeles who’s son was shot and killed by another illegal alien. This guy had been arrested 4 times, been deported twice, but just… crossed the border, came right back and killed his son. If we enforced the border and put up a real wall, then his son would still be alive. And he says thanks to what Trump said 3 weeks ago, this man who buried his son, he start to feel HOPE for the first time in 7 years. More cheers, more red meat.
Trump mentioned Hillary like… once. That was it. He mentioned Jeb Bush (who Trump is beating now at #1) four or five times. Everyone in the audience is howling, no more Bush! No more Bush! We want TRUMP!!! We want TRUMP! The Donald sticks his hands in the air, goes around the audience gets all sorts of selfie pictures with all the tiny young pretty girls wearing Tempe-ASA-Hot slutty dresses, it was quaint.
All and all, it was fun. Am I supporting Trump now? Meh. I don’t know?
