I’m not the first to call Hillary a scold. Here is Chris Matthews doing it on MSNBC, although he means it as praise:
Is this something that a white woman presidential candidate can do that an African American president can’t do? I mean why didn’t Obama give this sterling point by point scold—you, you, you—Christie, Rick Perry, calling them out?
If Trump uses the term, he could wait a few days for the feminist outrage machine to get good and worked up and then point to that clip of Dem lackey Matthews using the same term to describe her style. Bonus points because the clip has Hillary doing her characteristic scolding voice.

Did everybody see Trump’s reaction when that guy tried to jump on the stage?
Watch the Alpha male in action: TLDR- The Secret Service had to protect the guy from Trump, NOT the other way around. Watch it:
1:07- Trump notices protester trying to climb on stage. He jerks upwards as if to dodge and his next instinct is to lunge at the guy with a fierce war face. I am pretty sure Trump lunged thinking he would take a couple steps and drop kick the guys head off the stage as he tried to climb up.
1:08- Trump takes a step towards the protester. Trumps right hand is out of view but it looks like he might be reaching for his weapon.
1::08-09 Secret Service agent approaches and clasps Trumps right hand with his left (if Trump has a holster there, this was to prevent Trump from drawing his weapon). In that same second, Trump grabs the coat of his security detail and holds him back from grabbing him more tightly.
1:10- Trump pushes away the right hand of the Secret Service, quickly grabs the agents lapel and pulls him down slightly off balance as they apparently scuffle for less than a second.
1:11- The agent pulls back and Trump and the agent lock arms with that shoulder/elbow grab men do. The second agent gets there and also wraps his arms around Trump.
1:12- The 3 are standing straight up and another agent can be seen approaching. Trump is still tense but I would LOVE to see his expression at that time. I am 100% certain the “protester” was already on his back being manhandled by several agents.
In contrast, Hillary is clearly in failing health and she reminds all those wall smashers what is in store. I think Trump will barely carry the female vote but overwhelmingly married women with families will vote for Trump. The Dems problem is that a LOT of those wall smashers are also going to vote for the first true “Alpha” we have had as President since??? Teddy Roosevelt? Maybe Ike? Rather than this barking shadow of a woman.
The secret is she has not “fallen” nearly as far as we believe. She was never that high in the beginning. Hillary is just a regular chick who went to a decent school, used affirmative action to get into an even better law school and then was moved to the front of the line after she stumbled out 3 years learning to “think like a lawyer.” Did she come out with a decent legal education? Probably. But it came with an entitlement attitude and a silver slipper up her ass so far you can’t even find it now among the wrinkles and adult diapers.
But Dalrok, I thought RPS said no pimping your candidate. LOL.
These people occupy a universe I cannot relate to.
Not one statement went by that did not require a tremendous amount of coolaid swallowing to believe.
Watching cable news screech for their favorite candidates got old about 10 years ago. It’s boring now, on its way to stale. Way to go finding this clip, Dalrock. I doubt I could have tolerated enough bad cable news to find it.
Perhaps it’s part of the leftist psyche that scolding for guilt excites them. It’s what they’ve relied on to make more leftists. Vote for larger government or you’re a terrible person. Vote for immigration or you’re a racist bigot. Vote for the redefinition of marriage or you’re a terrible homophobe. At this rate, it’s becoming a basic tool of masculinity for a young man to rid himself of guilt and shame. Outside of the mannosphere, Trump is just about the only man sending this message.
…for example: “Why do we register to vote? Why isn’t it automatic?’
or
“back in 2008 before African Americans decided to support Barack Obama.”
Was there some chance that they were not going to vote at some number over 90% for him?
Dear Ceer:
What you’re calling a leftist is actually a personality type that exists almost as prevalently among American conservatives. (Google “cuckservative” for more on this). Basically these people sublimate feelings of shame into self-deprecatory and symbolic gestures to help the “other” (the “other” is not any fixed group — it’s whoever fits the profile at the historical moment).
When such people are scolded by an outgroup member, it allows for a sort of catharsis in the subject. This general phenomenon can be seen lately in things like this:
Note that this isn’t a feminist thing, but it’s the same basic psychological process at work. The laughable irony is that the liberal types who go for this crap tend to use it to justify their own racism and hatred for blacks. Rather than be honest with themselves and work through their destructive feelings, they repress their racist sentiments with weird displays of “atonement” like this, and then they go back to hating blacks when they are done with their little hour long self-abasement. Moreover, the young child who is being mistreated is probably a KKK grand dragon in the making, with these sick little exercises.
Feminism operates in a precisely similar way. Most of the weak-ass men who are Hillary supporters repress their hatred for women (and it’s real hatred, of the sort that is never tolerated in the ‘sphere) in meaningless acts of atonement by voting for a figurehead. It’s a weak ploy by damaged people to virtue signal, while retaining their self-destructive behavior in all other ways.

Rather than this barking shadow of a woman.
Good point. And Teddy Roosevelt actually provides a pretty good comparison with Trump, I think. He too had an attempt made on his life when he made a second (and ultimately unsuccessful) run for the White House in 1912. In his case, the assassin managed to shoot Roosevelt in the chest, but before hitting him the bullet first penetrated a steel eyeglass case and a fifty-page folded speech that he’d placed in his jacket’s chest-pocket. When Roosevelt noticed that he wasn’t coughing up blood, he concluded that the bullet hadn’t entered his lung, and thus he would still be well enough to address the audience that he’d come to see in the first place. He spent the next 90 minutes giving his speech in a bloodstained shirt before leaving to be taken to the hospital.
If Trump should have such a close attempt made on him in the future, can you see him responding in a similar manner? I know I can — and if he does, I predict that he’ll suddenly have a tidal wave of female support as women in the voting booths find themselves unexpectedly swooning at the memory of the Donald’s manly refusal to accept death, and hitting climax right after they check his name on the ballot.
Pingback: Does being scolded give him a thrill up his leg? | Reaction Times
BPP that is an interesting video. I agree with your analysis: Trump turns to address what he perceives as a threat and is restrained from doing so by his security detail.
I can’t imagine any President in the last 20+ years doing that. It is indicative of his mindset.
Scolding voice, nothing. Hilary Clinton is a thoroughly detestable human being.
Apart from the well-understood enabling of her husband’s womanising, her political record is appalling.
She has yet to explain why she voted for the Iraq War. Five countries were attacked and trashed when she was foreign secretary. This means she has an enormous amount of blood on her hands, including that of women and children her rhetoric pretends she cares for.
“Women are always the primary victims of war” eh?
So why make more wars when you are in a position not to?
I await her reply, raspy scolding and all.
The issue that concerns me is that I think the Republican Party is going to try to take the nomination away from Trump on a technicality. Here is an explanation of how Trump could get bumped.

False flag operation. Nothing to see here, Trump’s just doing a little theater to lock up the female vote. Don’t tell me a well-known narcissist tried to shove his own security detail out of the way of a sudden threat without arranging the matter beforehand.
This is why I insist on honorable candidates instead of “electable” ones. Had I known Trump to be a decent man instead of a manipulative narcissist lusting for power, I would wait for evidence before entertaining that kind of suspicion. Now I just ask Cui Bono.

Could be. Then again, given the number of Occupy / etc. loons out there champing to disrupt one of Trump’s rallies, might be legit. I doubt this locks up much of the female vote, though.
This is why I insist on honorable candidates instead of “electable” ones.
OK. That is the same a refusing to vote, of course. Both are honorable positions.
It more and more looks like this election will in some ways determine if future
elections even have any meaning.
If Trump wins the most delegates, it would be political suicide for the GOP to deny Trump the nomination.
Yeah, the GOP could do it. But Trump voters would revolt. They might not vote for any GOP candidate in 2016, for any office. Bye-bye GOP House and Senate.
I don’t agree with Trump on everything. He’s of low character and likely won’t accomplish much of what he promises. But he is (sadly) the best of the bunch.
And it will be sweet to see the Left go berserk over President Trump. Wonderful to see the campus crybullies traumatized when President Trump invades their Safe Spaces just by being on TV.

I think that it is not only the information that the person holds but how he processes that information.
An effeminate weakling will have a much different thought process than a masculine man.
Its just that effeminate weaklings predominate in the left given the philosophical underpinning of egalitarianism. Which gives the envious a way to tear down their betters.
While the Right is often more about personal heroism and hierarchy where the cream rises to the top. And appeals to the masculine man.
Matthews is a detestable political hack. His wife is running for a seat in Congress or the House. So, the politicians Matthews has on Hardball one after the other, just before appearing on Hardball are donating a grand, two grand to Matthews’ wife’s campaign. And then of course, Matthews pitches them softballs. It is a reprehensible conflict if you want some integrity, but for Democrats, MethNBC is so inoffensive to a Liberal’s sensitivities, they couldn’t care less, all 100 of their viewers. There is some stir at Comcast/NBC that he’s going to have to go, but that’s just whispers. Matthews of course, should step down while his wife is running for office, but that’s 10 million a year he ain’t giving up without a hassle. I’ll be curious to see if the parent company does anything about it.
I, for one, believe Christian Conservatives deserve Donald Trump if he’s voted president. What excuse will they have when he negotiates away more ground to the left just to make a deal?

That wouldn’t feed the PR machine and ego though.
@Gunner Q
“It wearies me that these games of name-calling can accomplish what simple truth cannot. There’s no place for honest men in modern America.”
The issue isn’t one of name-calling or lack of honor, but the simple fact that honest, hardworking people are rarely flashy. Flashiness is the only thing that gets people noticed in most of the west as the attention span is now roughly 10 seconds, or the length of a vine. So, anyone decent doesn’t even register on the radar of “normal” people and the leftovers are reality TV rejects.
The only way to take back the circus that is modern politics is frankly to restrain voter participation and populism until the culture is responsible enough to be entrusted with it. Of course the people that need to be restrained will make that impossible, c’est la vie. If you’d rather just have a laugh about the whole thing, here are a few films, La Dictadura Perfecta, Le Capital, and Quai D’Orsay. Idiocracy is good too if you’d rather a film in English!
I have male liberal friends who wont vote for Hillary because, as one of them put it – an ex military guy with a PhD – “I can’t imagine having to hear that voice on TV three or four times a week, bitching me out about something.”
For me it’s that, and her atrocious politics. Plus she appears to have had a serious brain injury that she’s not talking about, and that makes both her and Joe “No Impulse Control” Biden bad candidates for custodians of the nuclear football.
@ Just a Regular Guy
There’s an element of “rolling the dice” in nominating Trump in that we still don’t know where his politics truly lie. Also there’s little evidence he is any more anti-misandry than the other candidates.
That said, Cruz, Rubio, etc. are just way too limp-wristed in their capacity to stand up to Feminists and SJW’ers, which may turn out to be the defining political battle of our times (along with massive cuts to government spending and entitlements already in the pipeline). They are too afraid to stick to an idea that is deemed “sexist” or “racist”, and therefore cede ground with each and every election. Trump might (might) be the only candidate with the capacity not to be pushed around this way.
What we see with Trump/Clinton though is a move towards uglier political battles that will intensify in the coming years. There’s simply too much at stake not to fight back. Both sides sense this. Do you really want to send in “Little Marco” when your pension and 401ks are on the line? Or do you want to send in the biggest, meanest SOB your side can muster?
@ Joe
There’s an SNL skit waiting to write itself about Hillary Clinton being replaced on the podium with a clucking chicken, and no one seeming to notice the difference.
@PuffyJacket:
Trump will be a NE Liberal Republican, as people tend to hold to form in office, but he isn’t tied down to the same interests. The “Rockefeller” wing actually used to be the closed borders set of the party. After that wing died off, the new DC Establishment would establish itself as truly just different wings of one party. (Ted Kennedy’s brutal slander of Robert Bork would set the stage for the contours of that new DC Establishment, which explains much of the problem.)
So if Trump holds true to his personal form, the social conservatives can cut deals with him (“Hello, my name is Federalism, and I can be useful!”) and expect him to harshly defend his interests of Americans as President. His upside is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calvin_Coolidge . Which would be fitting, as Coolidge (who took over after the dearth of Warren G. Harding) would be the main President to follow the worst President in US History (except for the eventual last), Woodrow Wilson.
I saw news today that said Black women are driving the vote for Hillary. Thst has made me rethink this post, which I originally was good with. If I can offer my opinion on what Black women think (I have no authority to appeal to), then my guess is that being a scold won’t work with them. From what I can tell, that is a proud part of the identity, think ,Beyonce at the Super Bowl.
Any ideas, if you agree with my assertion, on what could work with white and black women voters?
>what could work with white and black women voters?
I don’t think it is a racial thing as much as a single mom vs. married mom thing. I bet Trump gets a good chunk of the married black female vote. Blacks do seem to have this weird affectation for Bill Clinton but I always thought that was based on his bonafide Southern hick multi-racial tingles and that ship has sailed along with his wife, formerly ‘the smartest woman in the world.’
On Trumps true colors. I have no doubt he is a true Northeastern Liberal Republican. Nobody cares. The only thing that matters is building the wall and getting illegal immigration under control.
Call it what it is people: It is an invasion. First Mexico occupied the U.S. Most people don’t even know that almost all Mexicans who want to come to America are already here. Or that BILLIONS of dollars flows South in jobs, investment, and surplus from welfare checks sent to the rest of the family back home.
70% of illegal aliens are on welfare. They are on food stamps. They are not contributing. We took it up the ass like good world citizens for decades….but all of that was not enough.
Now they are literally emptying out the poorest, dumbest, least educated, least developed pockets of the 3rd world from Asia, to Africa to Central and South America. This is a highly orchestrated invasion to change the nation into something else and all of the elites are in on it. Trump is the only elite standing up to the other elites and saying, you know what? It is not cool that the U.S. is being invaded by MILLIONS of people every year. The establishment is appalled. Everybody else just says: Well no shit! Stop the invasion. Establish a LEGAL door for people to come through and work that benefits the American people.
After that, he can do whatever he wants- although his plan is quite specific. Taxes, lowered. Business, encouraged. Jobs oversees, discouraged. Trade treaties modified and jobs brought back. Can he do all of it? Of course not. But he can do some of it.
All he has to do is make a deal. You see, while a Canadian/American NON NATURAL BORN U.S. Citizen cannot be President he CAN serve on the Supreme Court. Dollars to donuts that Trump agrees to appoint Ted Cruz to fill Scalia’s seat and sails to the nomination. Can Trump make a deal? Inquiring minds.
70% of illegal aliens are on welfare. They are on food stamps. They are not contributing.
Really? I bet you have never applied for welfare before. It is harder for illegal immigrants to get those benefits (maybe you meant “legal immigrants”?). Even when they try getting paid employment, their employers often cheat them, deducting their taxes without remitting same to the IRS. Thus, they end up paying SS without being able to receive the attending benefits.
Now they are literally emptying out the poorest, dumbest, least educated, least developed pockets of the 3rd world from Asia, to Africa to Central and South America…
Again, totally false. Most of the people from these countries tend to be more motivated compared to those who remain in their respective countries. It is on record that the most educated folks in the US are Africans (Nigerians, I believe). The Indians are not far behind. Many Indians that I see in the hospitals—cardiologists, neurologists, etc are Indians, or have Indian names.
The real threat that I see is that many of these third world immigrants tend to get hyper-educated, and work for less, making it harder for the average American to get jobs. They actually make less use of government assistance.
I am a bit sleepy right now I would have provided you with the necessary links.
While I totally support Trump’s plan to reign in illegal immigration, I think we don’t need to exaggerate what the facts are.
There is little that is alpha about Trump, he’s a con artist that is good at absorbing and mimicking traits that will endear him to the electorate. We are so desperate for an alpha, people will settle for a pseudo-alpha because it’s far better than the neutered crap we’ve seen over the last forty years. You want a real alpha, a real man of substance, go look at Gary Johnson. While he isn’t electable in this sick culture, that’s an alpha. A rugged man who believes in true freedom of opportunity, who puts his money where his mouth is. Trump is a wannabe strong man leader who tells people what they want to hear, as long as he gets what he wants. A guy who thinks that tough talk and bluster is a legitimate foreign policy stance, yet NEVER served in the military isn’t someone who is alpha. A man like Teddy Roosevelt talked a big game, but he had the accomplishments to back it up. Trump isn’t anything remotely close to an alpha, he doesn’t check any of the major boxes, in fact, it’s obvious when you listen to him that he’s playing a role. Remember, the toughest, strongest man in the room is rarely the guy who is screaming about how tough he is. It’s the man who just IS. No need to advertise, no need for bluster and nonsense, some people just are. Teddy Roosevelt was that man, Gary Johnson IS that man. Unfortunately, we look at voting for President like it’s a reality show. It’s unfortunate, and we deserve what we are going to get.
Dave @ 3:50 am:
“Really?”
Yes, Dave, really. Here are some tips to help you understand reality:
1. Illegals aren’t flooding across the border hoping to work hard for little return.
2. Those “hyper-educated” Indians are a different crime than illegal immigration. That’s H1b visa corruption.
3. Average Americans can’t get jobs because it’s increasingly a de facto crime to hire a white man, I mean, “average American”.
4. Blacks and Latinos are racially less capable of and interested in advanced education. They’ve had more than enough opportunities to prove that belief wrong.
5. Welfare fraud is encouraged by American gov’ts. The purpose of welfare is dependency upon gov’t and a little blackmail is a good stick to go along with the SNAP carrots for controlling the new serfs. Any welfare “reform” is political theater to hide this fact.
6. It is very dishonest to suggest illegal immigrants aren’t a problem because your neurologist is a legal immigrant.
7. It is very insulting to suggest that a Mexican border runner is a workplace peer of us law-abiding Americans.
@ PuffyJacket
I’m done voting the path of political pragmatism. I know what kind of man Donald Trump is (Matt 7:16-20). “”I will vote with a clear conscience for Ted Cruz or not at all””
Cruz just announced his National Security team. All members of The Council on Foreign Relations(Eastern Establishment) and most of them are from the George W. and Bush Sr. administrations.Ted’s wife is an employee of Goldman Sachs and a CFR member.Ted is not as “anti establishment” as he says.He holds a bible in one hand and a copy of the Constitution in the other but, surrounds himself with “establishment” people.”Lying Ted” is exactly what he is!
Teddy Boy Cruz cannot run legally according to the US Constitution. He was born in Calgary. Calgary when I last checked is in Alberta (Where most of the US gets it’s imported oil from). He cannot be President no more than my sister who married an American and is a US citizen.
Interesting about the Clinton’s past. The media silence is deafening. Of course Frank Marshall Davis Jr.(aka Bathouse Barry) has quite a past which hopefully comes out after he leaves office.

Amazingly enough, her husband dumped her as he was sick of her whoring around. She’s now alone and relies on her dogs for companionship. lol
Yes Cruz can be President. The constitution requires a “Natural Born American,” which he is because he was a citizen at birth and was not naturalized. There are centuries of judicial precedent for this view. John McCain and George Romney (Mitt’s father) were also not born on US soil, and there was no controversy about them at the time. Incidentally this would also apply to Obama even if he was born in Kenya, so the birthers were nuts to think it would have even mattered.
Meanwhile, outside the synagogue:
http://nypost.com/2016/03/20/judge-blasts-city-in-firing-of-teacher-charged-with-raping-kid/
Supreme Court Judge Alice Schlesinger blasted the city Department of Education, saying it apparently used evidence sealed after teacher Claudia Tillery was acquitted in a criminal trial.
“I do agree that a teacher having a relationship with a 12-year-old boy, or a girl, is way, way, way beyond acceptable,” Schlesinger said in a hearing last week. “But they had no authority to unseal a sealed record.”
“Alice is not one to let rapists and killers out on the street,” said Betsy Combier, a paralegal who defends accused educators. “But don’t violate procedure in front of her and don’t use information you shouldn’t have had. She’s not going to allow it.”
Other than that…how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln?
Regarding taking the nomination from Trump … All brokered conventions result in losses.
So the question for the party would be – lose with Trump who might take down the entire party and hurt the senate and House with the stupid things he says OR lose with someone who at least does not hurt the other national and local elections. The presidential election is already over. Trump’s ceiling – within the Republican Party- is very low. So that election is over. Now it’s just about strategy. Will ousting Trump improve the chances of other offices success? Will Trump supporters not support their senate and house candidates to spite the nation? That is a tricky question as Trump supporters seem to have no rational basis for their electoral choices. So my guess would be ditch Trump and find some poor sacrificial lamb to run a happy positive campaign and be destroyed by Hillary while focusing all resources on the House, Senate and local elections.

Trump is the only candidate with a chance of beating Hillary. Cruz is in the mold of Huckabee and Pat Robertson. Rubio and Kasich are like Bush, McCain, Romney, et al.
Trump is different. Business as usual — how to work the media, who to appeal to — favor Hillary. Trump breaks the rules. The media can’t destroy him. Trump supporters don’t care what the media says about Trump. Trump will use Hillary as a punching bag, and if the media calls him “anti-woman,” so what?
Trump is carving out his own base of support from across the political spectrum. Men — even many Democratic men — have a visceral hatred of Hillary. And many women see Trump as alpha.

Since women want their pay to be decoupled from any productivity obligations, they push for paid maternity leave. While that may have been a decent idea if not abused, a smaller company cannot afford this and thus will not hire women.
To balance this, the same idjits now talk of ‘Mandatory Paternity Leave’, that too in the UN :
http://hdr.undp.org/en/content/paid-parental-leave-including-mandatory-paternity-leave
Under the premise that men are deadbeats who will do no fatherly duties unless forced to, men are to have their careers interrupted by mandatory paternity leave. These idiots have no idea why an employer would create a job in the first place. Plus, their view of equality involves obstructing men now too.
They have not yet figured out what to do in the case of single mothers, and mandatory paternity leave for the father who is not allowed to be involved.

To be Charlie Brown (the Christian voter) who, even after repeatedly being betrayed, is going to give Lucy (the GOP Establishment) the opportunity to let you kick the football even after she’s pulled it away from you (i.e., broken their campaign promises and betrayed you) year after year, election after election, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Quite frankly, you not only deserve the knife sticking out of your back, but the broken back you get after landing on it once the football is AGAIN pulled away from you milliseconds before you would have kicked it. There’s just no excuse for living life in accordance with the Einstinian definition of insanity after nearly 40.years of lessons in how to avoid it.
Nothing personal. I just get disgusted in general when people insist on voting, even after decades worth of evidence of what a scam the whole process is.
@Kevin
Your neurologist or cardiologist is a [very smart] Nigerian or Indian because of intentional policy decisions by the US govt to import Doctors instead of train them.
I doubt it. The most important factor in getting these professionals out of their country is an uncomfortable environment, not the allure of foreign lands. Most people generally prefer to live among their own people, particularly those considered highly respected in society, as these professionals are. Had their home environments been great, they would be less likely to migrate abroad—not even to the great USA. And the Indians from Silicon Valley have proven that once things get better, they prefer to return home. Ghanaian doctors are returning home en masse since their country became more livable.
Because of its superior economic policies, the US has won the lottery of attracting superior brains all over the world without necessarily spending much to get them.
@Gunner
Legal immigrants use more of government programs than native born Americans
1. Illegals aren’t flooding across the border hoping to work hard for little return.
Relatively speaking, they tend to work for less compared to the average American. Why else would they be hired?
Some of the cheapest labor I have ever hired arre Mexicans, and they do a pretty darn good job.
2. Those “hyper-educated” Indians are a different crime than illegal immigration. That’s H1b visa corruption.
I am not sure there is corruption there. I have yet to see an American trained doctor, computer engineer or other similar professionals who roamthe streets because they couldn’t find jobs
3. Average Americans can’t get jobs because it’s increasingly a de facto crime to hire a white man, I mean, “average American”.
I don’t know about that. Maybe there are certain fields where folks have problems getting jobs, but in my field (healthcare), the shortage is so severe that employers are willing to help repay your school loans (sometimes up to $50k-$100k) if only you agree to come work for them. Obviously they won’t turn down qualified Americans. Actually, the first thing they tend to establish with candidates their legal status in the country.
4. Blacks and Latinos are racially less capable of and interested in advanced education. They’ve had more than enough opportunities to prove that belief wrong.
Partially corrrect. Intelligence and ability to get advanced education have nothing to do with your skin color or racial makeup. However, that blacks and latinos are less interested in pursuing advanced education is an established fact; I totally agree there.
5. Welfare fraud is encouraged by American gov’ts. The purpose of welfare is dependency upon gov’t and a little blackmail is a good stick to go along with the SNAP carrots for controlling the new serfs. Any welfare “reform” is political theater to hide this fact.
Again, I have no arguments against this. The government seems to be overly interested in creating the dependency class to secure election victories.
6. It is very dishonest to suggest illegal immigrants aren’t a problem because your neurologist is a legal immigrant.
I don’t know where you got the idea from. I am as opposed to illegal immigration as anyone is; but there is no need to exaggerate the case. Let’s stick with facts, shall we?
7. It is very insulting to suggest that a Mexican border runner is a workplace peer of us law-abiding Americans.
Again, I hope you are not half asleep? You totally made this up. I suggested no such thing.
Dalrock and other WordPress bloggers,
Entirely OT question posed to WordPress bloggers :
Does the ‘free’ version of WordPress allow for Sitemeter or Google Analytics to be used in the blog?
Exhaustive search through the knowledge base is inconclusive, as they mention the need for plug-ins and going to .php files. It appears that these avenues are not accessible in the free WP, and the support community does not answer questions posed to the message board..
Has anyone successfully overcome this?
You sound so much like a garden-variety Mormon that I guess you’re a member of the tribe. The reality is that Cruz is fuck’n unhinged. The mainstream media is sitting on video of him giving the opening prayer at a ceremony to institute the death penalty for homosexuals. He’s absolutely unelectable and no sane person would want this lunatic as the manager of a Jamba Juice, much less president of a nuclear-armed world superpower.
On a more general note, you and the rest of the Mormons sound a lot like the current pope. A cursory read of the New Testament (and, for that matter, the Book of Mormon) suggests that the prophets and heroes didn’t care too much for political contests. Vote for whoever you want, just don’t pretend your personal favorite has the mandate of the divine monarch. He doesn’t. God has better things to concern himself with than this sort of petty foolishness.
Boxer
@Boxer:
I tend to favor using 1 Samuel 9. The Lord let’s us wallow in our own stupidity.
Regarding Hilary Clinton and black female voters:
Surprising, Hilary does get a lot of black support despite the “super-predators” comment. Some vote for her because they feel like it will be Bill Clinton’s third term. And as you say black folks love them some Bill Clinton. I think it’s the Southern connection, but also, Bill acts like a black man. Goes through women like Drano. A lot of black men identify with and admire that kind of confidence. Basically the women who finally broke their silence about his exploits (Wiley, Lewinski, etc.) still deep down like him. He’s a likeable guy. Chapelle does a great bit about it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xS5djsfKow. Clinton gets away with being unfaithful. And he doesn’t even screw women who are pretty either! Just shows how desperate men can be for sex. I’m not a black man, but I think a lot of them relate to that.
I think black women are also drawn to that aura.
And some of it is laziness. Black folk know Clinton. They don’t want to take the time to find out about Sanders. Plus, they think he’s too old.
Of course, some black women tap into their feminism and want a woman to be president in their lifetime. Even if they don’t really like Hilary. As has been pointed out before, the mainstream white feminist movement has historically been very racist so why black women even entertain it is beyond me. But feminism is so pervasive in our lives, that most people will agree to its tenants without identifying themselves as feminists. And feminists like Amy Poeler (spelling?) and Emma Watson have a big problem with this. It’s probably more accurate to ask what kind of feminist a woman is than whether she is or isn’t a feminist. The Washington Post has an online quiz https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/national/feminism-project/feminism-typology-quiz/
Anon , take it to it’s (fem) logical conclusion now….say the mandatory paternal leave bill goes through, and it’s like, 2020, or 2025 in this dystopian novel….eventually, there will be admin rules put in place that men are required to take the leave, or pay a fine (will be called something like, “opt out” plan) to fund the leave taken by OTHER MEN or WOMEN for baby leave. Then, other regs will be put in place that says a woman can “use” the amount of her spouse/lover (and of course, if lesbians they BOTH will get the paid leave too).
After women are granted the right to “use” the say, 30 days granted to men…the next thing will be the white knight expectations that men simply HAND OVER those days and keep working. Naturally, if they aren’t married, or separation or divorce occurs, expect a new cause of action to “collect” the days the man owes (because it will be socialized, so working for different companies won’t matter), or to “COLLECT” the “fine” the man WOULD HAVE HAD TO PAY had he been with the woman, but yet not used the days.
Sound convoluted? Step inside the world of Family Law and you will see the most bizarre legal and logical gymnastics ever like, “yes, but the money he SHOULD have earned, to pay her college fees BEFORE they met, but AFTER he decided not to marry her…are due to my (female) client”” , or the famous, real story of the gal that turned 18 (used to be called “growing up” or “becoming an adult”) who went into the military or got married or something, as I recall, then got out, and reasserted that she was a 22 year old or whatever, due X amount from her father in support.
Notice the mother is almost ALWAYS bypassed as a responsible party.
Dave @ 12:56 am:
“I have yet to see an American trained doctor, computer engineer or other similar professionals who roam the streets because they couldn’t find jobs.”
I was one of them. I knew of many more over the years. There are three parts to the visa corruption: using foreign labor to drive down the wages of domestic labor, refusing to train new domestic labor and visa revocation as a threatpoint.
“Maybe there are certain fields where folks have problems getting jobs, but in my field (healthcare), the shortage is so severe…”
It isn’t a question of job availability. In California there’s affirmative action, hiring quotas, special legal status for woman/minority owned businesses including contract bidding privileges and the usual biases in civil litigation to make hiring white men a risky prospect.
“7. It is very insulting to suggest that a Mexican border runner is a workplace peer of us law-abiding Americans.
Again, I hope you are not half asleep? You totally made this up. I suggested no such thing.”
Your post suggested these immigrants share my work ethic, respect for law and desire to be part of America. Apologies if I misread that.
@Boxer
Just discovered how slimy Ted Cruz actually is:
https://www.chroniclesmagazine.org/trump-and-the-anti-globalist-moment/
There goes my support for this guy down the drain.
Trump is the only one left I will support.
Hey Dalrock,
This is slightly OT, but if we’re on the subject of Trump and his communication skills, I was curious to know if you’d seen a recent item. Apparently the Donald just had an interview with the same Chris Matthews where he was quizzed on abortion. Matthews asked him a hypothetical question: If abortion should ever be outlawed, did Trump believe that women who seek out and have abortions would have to be punished? Trump was vague, but finally said, “There would have to be some form of punishment.” Now he’s taking fire for it from . . . . . pro-life conservative Republican Christians.
Here’s Boyce College professor Denny Burk (an employee of Al Mohler, BTW):
“. . . The pro-life movement has never sought to punish women by force of law for getting an abortion. Rather, the focus has been on treating them with care and compassion. Anyone unaware of this history does not understand the pro-life position. And it is clear that Donald Trump falls into that category.”
The link is here: http://www.dennyburk.com/trying-to-clean-up-after-donald-trumps-abortion-mess/#more-32431
Here’s religious lobbyist Russell Moore of the Southern Baptist Convention:
” . . . All pro-life Americans need to make this issue clear: Protecting unborn babies is not about punishing women, but punishing an industry and a culture that dehumanizes human beings . . . Pro-life Christians understand that abortion isn’t just a physical attack on a baby; it’s a spiritual assault on a mother too.”
The link is here: http://www.russellmoore.com/2016/03/31/does-the-pro-life-movement-want-to-punish-women/
Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council also agrees that it shouldn’t be punished; It took Ann Coulter to provide adequate commentary:
For those who still doubt Trump’s skills of communication, simply stand back and gaze with awe and wonder. He just got nearly the entire pro-life collective to scream from the rooftops that they have absolutely no interest whatsoever in even outlawing the practice! Because however much these cucks may claim that they hate infanticide, there’s something that they dislike even more: the possibility that they might have to say “no” to a woman.
@Darwinian Arminian
there’s something that they dislike even more: the possibility that they might have to say “no” to a woman.
Spot on analysis.
Note: Trump did eventually walk-back his comments, parroting the official party line that women are the true “victims” of abortion. This is disappointing, but it is noteworthy where all the pressure came from.
Never have Cuckservatives been so thoroughly exposed for the frauds that they are. Abortion (and the closely-related Supreme Court contests) is supposed to be their linchpin issue, the one principle from which they must never waiver, but even that must take a backseat to the FI. Truly pathetic stuff.
@DA:
It was a flub from Trump, at least in the political context. But Trump’s great skill is actually saying what most are actually thinking. (If you think about him as an anti-PC missile, it makes more sense.) He got trapped because Chris Matthews is evil but occasionally competent.
The Pro-Life movement made a logical rhetorical choice many years ago because Women are that pathetic that they can’t accept consequences for actions. But making a policy choice for political & rhetorical purposes doesn’t change the fact it was a wholly tactical choice. What Trump inadvertently brought to light is that most of the Pro-Life movement has moved “tactical choice” into “moral compass” and we wonder why they tend to flail around so much.
@Looking Glass
What Trump has “inadvertently brought to light” about the Pro-Life movement is that they were never actually Pro-Life.
Any movement unwilling to enforce consequences against the perpetrator cannot be called “Pro-Life” in any way, shape or form. What these Cuckservatives are pathetically announcing to the world is that they were never actually against abortion (because that would be too mean to women).
