At least they haven’t turned the ships pink yet.

Yesterday the US Navy announced what it is calling a “large cultural change”, with the elimination of 91 enlisted ratings titles.  Navy Times explains in Navy scuttles sailors’ enlisted rating titles in huge career shake-up

Sailors will no longer be identified by their job title, say, Fire Controlman 1st Class Joe Sailor, effective immediately. Instead, that would be Petty Officer 1st Class Joe Sailor.

Sailors past and present have longstanding and deep love of the titles that have defined their Navy lives. All of these now belong to the history books.

Two thirds of the way into the article the Navy Times finally explains that this is all about making the Navy more gender neutral:

It began by a directive from Mabus to find gender-neutral rating titles that stripped them of the word “man,” in an effort to be more inclusive to women sailors who make up an increasing size of the force.

Secretary Mabus, you may recall, tried to have male Marines wear female caps three years ago.

All of this is entirely to be expected, and this is only the beginning.  Women pushing to enter male spaces fall into two categories.  A small number of women sincerely want to experience manly pride, and these women are very protective of the masculine nature of the institutions they enter.  A much larger number recognizes that they can’t experience manly pride, and therefore sets out to ensure that men can’t either.

The second group is the one that inevitably takes control, and will forever agitate to mark the space as feminine.  The best way to conceptualize this compulsion is an overwhelming desire to put a pink bow on everything associated with the space (men, machines, uniforms, etc).  We can see this symbolically with the elimination of masculine job titles used for hundreds of years, and we can see it more literally in the placement of a giant pink bow on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard:

If you want to quantify the costs of all this, my comment yesterday deserves a repeat :

Most people, even some who are on to how much of a fraud the FI is, don’t realize how hard the pump is working…

US Taxes are already too high. Yet…..

The National Debt has grown by $10T in just the last decade. From $9T to $19T, in the last 10 years alone.

That means Federal spending in excess of taxes collected was $10T from 2006-present. Again, taxes are already too high, yet this is spending in excess of taxes.

Since most government spending is for women at the expense of men, and this represents only the most excessive froth of spending (again, merely what is in excess of already high taxes), this shows you how hard the pump is working.

For the next fiscal year (10/1/16 to 9/30/17), taxes collected will be $3.6T, and spending will be $4.2T. So $600B of spending in excess of taxes.

Without female suffrage, it is conceivable that taxes and spending are just $2T each (putting aside the fact that GDP itself would be larger under such lower taxation).

Instead, the next 12 months will take in $3.6T of Federal Taxes and see $4.2T of spending. The amount spent on each woman’s FI fantasy is so much higher than what they themselves could produce in the free market (i.e. no make-work jobs for women), that future historians will see this as insane.

Nations that would normally be cautious dealing with the US Military will now be confronting them, just to see what they can pull off. Obama had the biggest purge of Generals since Stalin, appointing a feminist as head of the US Navy, even though she probably never rowed a boat before. Why would men enlist and give their lives for a govt. who despises them.

  4. feeriker says:

    How do I put this politely … ? Oh, hell, I can’t, so I won’t.

I’m sofa king glad I walked away from the Navy nearly two decades ago, three years shy of being able to retire with a full pension, absolutely amazed that any self-respecting human being with a moral compass would stick around to endure the destructive lunacy. I cannot even imagine what things must be like now. The one silver lning to the current decay is that the Navy has been rendered effectively useless as a combat force. May the same happen to the other three branches of service so as to ensure that the inevitable order from Caesar to impose martial law results in self-destructive farce.

Incidentally, in the photo Dalrock has embedded above, the number “6” painted on the hull is not just the ship’s identification number. It’s also represents:

    – the collective IQ of the crew
    – the number of REAL men stationed on board (although that’s probably a generous estimate,
and they’ve no doubt taken their sexuality underground)
    – the maximum number of minutes the ship will survive any encounter with an enemy force under
    actual battle conditions
    – the maximum number of seconds its female/transgender crew will last when ordered to perform a
physically or psychologically demanding task in the heat of combat
    – the percentage of its female crew who WON’T “suddenly and mysteriously” get pregnant prior to
    the next six-month cruise
    – the minimum number of sexual encounters PER HOUR between male and female crew members
    – the minimum number of false rape allegations made PER week by female crew members
    – the ratio, to 1, of slackers and malingerers versus those actually performing their assigned
    duties
    – the number of COs the ship will go through over the next year due to reliefs for cause due to low
readiness posture, low morale, and rampant sexual harassment complaints.
    – the ratio, to 1, of women to men who will be promoted and awarded commendations despite
being not only useless, but detrimental to mission accomplishment

    America,

As your enemies grow in numbers and skill you are busy conducting social experiments on your armed forces. You are being disarmed. The gun control debate is an attempt to disarm the common man. The feminisation of the military will significantly weaken the last defence you have left, effectively disarming that too. Meanwhile, Russia, the Middle East and North Korea are watching with incredulity and bated breath, hardly believing their luck, waiting for the moment they’ll know they can strike. This is like the divorce rape of a beta husband, except played out among nations rather than individuals.

  9. A.B. Prosper says:

    Dave, No.

Americans at leas the ones that count are better armed than ever. Estimates suggest 2 million AR15 type rifles of all brands are sold per year along with 18 million other type weapons.

We sold in one year more AR15 rifles than the entire size of the US military. In one one year.

Ammo is being bought in massive amounts as well. People are training and everything.

The US civilian population has never been better armed, ever

Also the Russian are not a threat to the US. The Cold War is long over and they do not have the manpower . The Norks have a limited ballistic missile threat but are not a danger otherwise. The Middle East is only a problem because our idiots allow them to migrate here.

The only threats we face are our main trading partner China, maybe, and if Germany goes Muslim (its 40% under 5 Non German now) and we care otherwise all threats we face are internal and domestic

What ails the US is an inability to decide what kind of state it should be , an unwillingness to allow the union to separate and no faction yet willing to force its own way. Its enervation and lack of will not lack of capability.

@feeriker: “the number “6” painted on the hull”

You sir, are an artist. Only a guy once drawing career sea pay could draft a list like that.

Vaguely curious about the origin of the photo, I followed Dalrock’s first link and discovered that the ship aboard which this travesty took place was the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD-6, not to be confused with the late USS Bonhomme Richard, CVA-31 an Essex-class attack aircraft carrier built during World War II and active throuugh the Vietnam War, the days when America still had a REAL navy). The current “Bonny Dick,” a Landing Helicopter Dock, is an amphib assault ship, meaning that it deploys with a battalion of Marines.

I doubt any of those Marines were on deck wearing pink in that photo. While I could never have imagined myself saying this all those decades ago when I was on active duty, given the nasty “sibling service” rivalry btwn the Navy and the Marine Corps, I have to commend the Marines for being the most resistant of the services so far to the systematic “faggotization” process that has been slowly destroying the services for the last 20-plus years. Indeed, I’m sure that the faggotizing of the Navy today it is now a source of tasty humor among grunts everywhere.

I now officially have ZE-RO sympathy or respect for any self-respecting heterosexual male who remains in the Navy.

I’ll also add “the number of body fat percentage points above the maximum allowed for male sailors that pregnant females are allowed, as well as the minimum number of months after giving birth that they are allowed to keep the extra body fat without being administratively separated from the Navy for failure to meet physical fitness standards (no such slack afforded to male sailors – ever).

The truth is, whenever warriors within armies spend inordinate amounts of time on titles, chevrons and uniform colors, they cease to be an army and will be destroyed.

Remember the scene from the film Braveheart when the weak, effeminate Prince Edward, son of King Edward “Longshanks”, is preoccupied with his own fashion, which cuffs or weapons are to be set to his left or to his right.

Later, after throwing Prince Edward’s gay lover out of a window, King Longshanks has a grave decision to make regarding his enemy, William Wallace:

Longshanks: I shall offer a truce and pie him off. But who will go to him? Not I, huh, if I fell under the sword of that murderer that might be my head in a basket. And not my gentle son. The mere sight of him would only encourage the enemy to take over the whole country. So who do I send? Whom do I send?

  23. Remove the Man
    https://therationalmale.com/2013/05/06/remove-the-man/

Volumes have been written in the manopshere about how feminine-primary government assumes the masculine providership role in modern relationships, thus freeing an already unhindered hypergamy even more so, but the effort to remove the Man goes far beyond this obvious institution. The fundamental restructuring of gender reference in our very language – as illustrated by the Washington state legislature – attempts to, literally, remove the Man from the equation.

[…]the same social tool has been used by the Feminine Imperative for the past 60 years; inspire self-doubt in male-specific masculinity. By making compliance with the Feminine Imperative a qualification of masculinity, men assign the power to define masculinity to the Feminine Imperative.

[…]For the Feminine Imperative to sustain itself men can never be trusted with masculinity, solution: remove men from being the definers of masculinity and apportion them only enough authority of it that would benefit the Feminine Imperative as necessary.

Control the language and you control the concept. Control the concept, and what is acceptable and what is not about it, and you control the thought before it forms. As I’ve argued in the past, the end state of the Feminine Imperative’s consolidation of social control isn’t the complete elimination of masculinity, but rather that it conveniently conforms to the needs of the imperative as best suits it.

‘Masculinity’ when shame for a lack of performance in desired acts, protection and provisioning are necessary, ‘Misogyny’ when the threat of feminine-primary control is implied in men’s self-esteem, affirmation or reward are attributed to maleness.

“But if thought corrupts language, language can also corrupt thought.” – George Orwell, 1984

  24. Lost Patrol says:

@feeriker: “I have to commend the Marines for being the most resistant of the services so far to the systematic “faggotization” process that has been slowly destroying the services for the last 20-plus years.”

As much as I would like to be able to defend my old gang on this, the fact is that the Marines have also been sucked into the void, and it’s all downhill from here. The whole trip has been farcical, and there is more to come. This nomenclature drill follows the latest fad, which is of course women (& whatever else you’ve got) into every last man-only enclave; up to and including SpecFor. As usual, all the services have presented a completely dis-united front on this; alternately resisting and then trying to outdo one another on showing enthusiastic compliance.

The combat arms and special forces are not easy entry points, so they are last to the party. But one day soon it will be noted that the lifting of restrictions has not produced the desired numbers of women in all fields. Adjustments will be made. As we all know, and have already aired out on Dalrock’s blog.

  25. @Anon:

Once the Fiat Money system was fully in place by the early 70s (really, it was actually just Nixon finally acknowledging what happened 40 years prior), government Debt was wholly disconnected from taxation. Though it would take a long time for everyone involved to actually realize it. It was actually Dick Cheney that first admitted it, though by accident, publicly by a major official.

It’s a back-side Debt Monetization setup, but the cost shows up in the areas that are generally slow & subtle. This is the cause of most of the actual inflation that doesn’t “show up” in the official Inflation numbers. (I generally don’t think most Economists are quite as stupid as they come off, but to admit any of these points is to never sniff tenure. Let alone be invited to the NY-DC dinner parties.) As the Fed actually isn’t in much control of the Money Supply, as the Fractional Lending by the Banks drives that aspect. (Recently admitted by a Bank of England paper, so it’s not exactly a fringe topic at this point.)

The issue is that it’s all become a confidence game, but as the US Military still controls the Blue Water and we produce enough food to feed ourselves the game can keep going for a long while. The “problem” is that ultra-low Interest Rates wreck the real economy. Businesses make a lot of short-sighted decisions, as holding onto cash is really bad. People with money will hunt everywhere for any type of return, especially as the large increase in money supply means that all “quality” investments get eaten up in a hurry. Further, near 0% interest rates allows the biggest companies to buy up their competitors that would never make any sense otherwise. Which forces everyone else to push their rates lower, as capital can simply move too easily between countries now. Anywhere that you can get 5% right now, stably, would be so terribly flooded with money it isn’t funny.

The problem a lot of people get stuck in is thinking the process will look like the previous ones from the early 1900s. Those disasters were the result of the economic approaches of the time. The next disasters will look different because of the economic approaches now. Not to say “better”, just different. Hyper Inflation isn’t on the table, as that’s wholly a political decision. (And given how badly it ended for the politicians that previously chose that route, no one important will choose it again.)

As with most things, the approach the normal person should taken is always pretty straight forward: get rid of all Debt; hedge in combination of Cash, Hard Currency and Land; be able to defend those possessions. Beyond that, they can drag this out for decades.

  26. anon says:

You can also buy stock in some firearms companies (it’s easier than stocking an entire bunker and bartering ammo…but probably not as much of a sure thing if crap hits the fan).

But again, they aren’t acting like there is a crisis. I’ll only believe this economic “thing” is a problem when they start acting like it’s a crisis! [/sarc]

More seriously, just about every “survivalist” I know is either current military, or a veteran (or a law enforcement veteran). They aren’t stocking guns and ammo so they can control the population when crap hits the fan, they’re stocking it so they can fight back too.

Expect the same event this time, especially as it looks like the EU region that’s going to finally start having to pay the piper.

But they don’t think it’s a crisis because a few key-clicks from the Fed and all of their liquidity issues are solved. We still don’t know the extent to which the Fed “injected liquidity” in 2008, but it’s somewhere on the tune of 12-15 Trillion USD. There’s no constraints on their Market operations, so why would the Insiders be worried? Those who will pay for it aren’t in the Insiders.

Just yesterday I was watching an old British TV series, Solider, Soldier: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soldier_Soldier

In the episode I saw, the British Army is consolidating two regiments. The Colonel of one of the regiments says his “number one priority” is to save his regiment’s hackle, which is a feather worn on their berets: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hackle

At a meeting in London, the Army brass make it clear that they favor using the other regiment’s thunderbolt patch. But the Colonel does research and discovers that there is precedent for the other regiment using a hackle during the Crimean War, etc.

In the end the Colonel, who is portrayed as a sympathetic hero on the show, saves his regiment’s hackle, and thus saves the day.

An incompetent military is MORE likely to terrorize the citizenry, not less. Look at the Middle East and the third world in general. Their militaries are thoroughly incompetent at fighting other militaries, but they specialize at terrorizing ordinary civilians.

Look at it this way. A champion wants to prove himself against other champions, not beat up on ordinary chumps. It’s a matter of honor. A bully, on the other hand, is just barely stronger than the chumps he beats up on, and he loves lording it over them, because he has no honor.

They accept those uggos in low-status positions, but Muslims too know what the objective hierarchy of looks is, and behave accordingly. Even that model in your link, while a stupid slut who is clearly well past her prime, is not ugly in pure looks (being slutty is different than being ugly).

“Control the language and you control the concept. Control the concept, and what is acceptable and what is not about it, and you control the thought before it forms. As I’ve argued in the past, the end state of the Feminine Imperative’s consolidation of social control isn’t the complete elimination of masculinity, but rather that it conveniently conforms to the needs of the imperative as best suits it.”

It’s feminism once more attempting to play God via the state by confusing the language.

    https://anarchistnotebook.com/2016/09/16/the-states-tower-of-babble/

When feminists speak of “consent” as though it meant the same thing as “desire,” they aren’t ignorant about what they’re doing. It is purposefully done.

A confused people are a divided people, and a divided people are easily distracted by petty, unnecessary divisions caused by confusion over the meaning of words. For feminists, it enables them to turn women against their men as evidenced by the rape culture myth. For the state, such people make more easily governable subjects.

Feminists use the shroud of mysticism over the meaning of words to hide their true intent.

The best defense against such behavior is the question, “What do you mean by that?” It places a burden on the person to explain or define the words they use. They cannot hide behind presumptions that you both have the same meaning in mind.

A free and healthy society is based on a strong, cohesion language. A dying culture is filled people struggling to comprehend themselves and one another.

It is clear which category the West falls into. The question that remains is how long this can go on before the natural order of things dictate that people separate themselves politically according to their respective languages and whether this will be carried out peacefully or not.

    I doubt its the latter.

Did my share of fire fighting on a couple of ugly occasions, too. My rating was known as AME2, Aviation Structural Mechanic E. At the end I was a Second Class Petty Officer.

What the Hell is gender specific about that title, AME2? I mean, aside from the fact that no woman actually ever fulfilled that level of responsibility that was routine for myself and my male counterparts. My ilk, if you will? I don’t care really, carrier aviation is next to dead, carriers don’t go to sea anymore (too many women with children that they have no idea what to do about if they were to deploy). And so, why all this? Seaman, Airman? Ok, Seawoman, Airwoman.

I spent a lot of time on carriers too over the course of seven years as a Naval Aircrewman (a Cryptologic Technicians “spook” in EA-3Bs [THAT really shows my age!] and later ES-3A Vikings, with VQ-1 and VQ-2 and later VQ-6). Coordinating the operations of an aircraft carrier is difficult enough under the best of conditions at sea, with an all male crew in a 98 percent readiness state. I cannot imagine how it is even possible to get a carrier underway today, let alone sustain flight operations under combat conditions, with a 50 percent female crew, half or more of which isn’t even deployable at all.

You’re right, carrier aviation is dead. Current drone technology enables the kind of warfare that carriers once conducted, and at a fraction of the cost and hassle, to say nothing of the fact that the kind of wars fought today are of the type that renders 2GW concepts like aircraft carriers obsolete. To continue to deploy carrier battle groups today is an exercise in pointless and expensive theater.

The U.S. Navy today is a sick joke – as is any loser who stays on active duty in it.

But on another level, they secretly know that women and trannies are a burden, and so in their mental war game scenarios, they rely only on the male soldiers.

They study their assets (trained men) and liabilities (women and trannies), and plan accordingly, though they pretend otherwise.

I wonder how many feminists and cucks know this, and assume that in a real war the military’s men will obligingly save the day, even as they pretend afterwards that the woman and trannies were the real heroes.

It really depends on whether a moral compass, common sense, and human decency have been laundered out of them during their military training. Some never had any of these to begin with. These are the ones who eventually reach flag rank (Generals and Admirals), the “political cadre” that ensures that the latest PC orthodoxy dictated by the nation’s civilian leadership becomes part and parcel of the armed forces’ operating doctrine, no matter how deleterious to morale and welfare or, more importantly, destructive to operational readiness it is. Others manage to retain their moral compass, common sense, and human decency and leave the service after a few years, realizing just how badly deceived they were and how thoroughly betrayed were their ideals.

  75. feeriker says:

Feminists don’t know enough about the military to have an informed opinion. Cuckservatives, the people who pay lip srrvice to the idea that government is fundamentally evil and incompetent while continuing to fund it at record levels, for some reason believe that the same government that can do nothing else competently is somehow an invincible machine of ruthless and brilliant efficiency when it comes to waging war.

All of them, or nearly all. It is taken as a given in every step of feminism that men will quietly compensate for and bear the full cost of whatever bad decision is being proposed. When this given doesn’t materialize 100% we hear the now familiar shrieking about weak men screwing feminism up.

I realized back in the 90’s that unmanned aircraft (UAV’s in Pentagon parlance) were eventually going to be a game changer in military aviation as well as commercial. We’ve seen its evolution over the years and that evolution will accelerate as weaponized UAV’s get either smaller or get more range, maybe both if they’re creative enough.

So yes, carrier-based aviation is essentially dead. If it gets close enough to hostile territory, scores of cheap drones and missiles can be sent at it. All it takes is one or two to get thru to incapacitate the entire platform. Think about a small drone or two released by a nearby small speedboat or divers sneaking into the bridge command center, for instance. Or disable the aircraft elevators. Or take out the communications hardware. Defending a huge carrier against these new threats is going to be dang difficult. Will be interesting to see the next steps in UAV, UAV platform and UAV weapon developments. For sure, this ain’t your granddaddy’s Navy, heck not even your dad’s Navy. Not sure they realize that in the Pentagon.

The feminist is a blank slatist. They really do believe the only difference between male and female soldiers is training and indoctrination. Evidence to the contrary is therefore a paranoid conspiracy.

The amazing bit is that feminists believe this in fanatical defiance of irrefutable facts like testosterone and bone structure. Even if human nature could be reshaped arbitrarily, why MUST MUST MUST male and female sexuality be inverted at all costs? Why not just vive la difference? Why do cucks keep doing the will of rebellious women? The only explanation is Original Sin.

Any woman who can’t muster up enough self-discipline to be a decent mother to a human child probably isn’t really much more fit to care for a dog either. I’m willing to wager that any dog that develops physical or behavioral problems, however treatable they are, that becomes too much for one of these women to handle, that begins draining her purse of money, and starts stressing her out will either wind up abused, abandoned, or euthanized (a proxy for the baby she would abort if she ever got knocked up). Indeed, I’d be curious to know how many shelter dogs today were left there by neurotic single women who couldn’t cope with them after they outgrew the puppy stage.

    P. D. James wrote a book about this sort of thing ten years ago. The Children of Men. People are suddenly sterile, and there are no more babies, so people begin baptizing kittens and turning the kittens into substitutes for children.

This sort of thing has always gone on. I knew an Air Force major and his wife who were childless. They had all sorts of pets, including a monkey, and they had very large (up to 18 x 30 inches or thereabouts) professional photographic portraits of some of their pets. In the 1970s, they were real outliers, but no one would think much about it these days.

People often think that those who are really good with animals are automatically going to be great with children, but the relationship with a pet never really changes. You start off in charge, and remain in charge, while the relationship with a child alters profoundly over the course of a lifetime. Lots of people are great with babies or little children, but stumble badly as the children get older. And there are plenty of people who find it difficult to cope with babies and toddlers who do well with school-aged kids.

I’m stunned by the woman who put the family’s cats on the same level as her children. I can’t imagine what her children will think when they read her words.

He completely panicked when I speculated about it.

    So you actually comment there?

Well, there are two people who routinely destroy manboobz, and would love to know some dirt on manboobz. Those are Judgybitch and Matt Forney. If you pass along this info, they may run with it.

Don’t feed the troll. It’s arrogant, presumptuous introduction of itself automatically renders it unworthy of anyone’s attention here.

    Dear Anon:

A long ass time ago he featured my old blog on his manboobz site, inviting me to come over and argue with the sad aggregation of faggots and losers he gathered together there.

    http://www.wehuntedthemammoth.com/2012/05/05/not-all-misogynists-are-like-that/

Mere speculation about the girth of his sexual option led him to delete my comments and ban me from manboobz.

It’s really bizarre, but I used to have a photo of him with some slovenly fat chick, and I could swear I thought he was married to the poor woman… but it was a long time ago. In any event, if he ever bugs you, try it out.

    Best,

    Boxer

    Hi Greta:

Thanks for coming. You’ve got far more guts than most of the people featured here.

I’m curious as to why you would want to be a Christian priest.

Mind you, I’m an atheist too. I can’t imagine posing as a man of the cloth. It’d be a waste of my time and I’m sure the regular congregants would be angry about me playacting the role.

Anyway, hope you enjoy New Zealand. I suppose it’s springtime down under.

Had to bring back a military thread to get this the attention it deserves.
