Men On Strike only $3.29 (for now)

As Instapundit noted the Kindle version of Dr. Helen’s book is on sale for only $3.29.  It doesn’t say how long this price will last, but I believe it is only a short time offer.  I had been hoping for such an opportunity and have taken advantage of this special price.  If you are interested in reading her book, this would be the time to buy it.

Speaking of men on strike, Dalrock have you seen this

    and this

The Manosphere has long held that a “male pill” would offer a panacea of sorts but this is precisely why there has not been, and probably won’t be a bc pill for men. They tried this back in the 60/70s and the same thing happened. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Would love to see you address this Sir.

(Fellow PUAs will get the reference in my moniker)

I’ve had the hard cover since it was released. I’d also recommend Dr. Laura Schlessinger’s “Ten Stupid Things Men Do to Mess Up Their Lives”, where I actually learned about White Knighting before Game was a thing and went further with the observation.

  5. Sickla says:

Had to check out the comments before I purchased to make sure Dalrock wasn’t be sarcastic or anything, haha. Anyways, I grabbed a copy. Look forward to reading it!

  6. Joe says:

There have been several “male bc pills”, they have all been banned in Europe and North America because they worked without crap side effects. The articles you linked too are just the normal “women are better than men but we are all equal” crap. Though I find it funny that they are effectively admittingt that men are not as stupid as women.

  7. @ Dakota Breeze & Vegas James

That garbage has been going around facebook too. Why give them clicks? It’s obviously clickbait because it doesn’t actually represent what the study says:

    http://press.endocrine.org/doi/pdf/10.1210/jc.2016-2141

“That being said, 2 independent safety committees, the DSMC established by the sponsors and the WHO/RHR RP2, came to different conclusions on the safety of the regimen, which resulted in early termination of the study injections.”

Ah yeah, that bad World Health Organization… terminating the study.

  8. Gunner Q says:

For your own sake, Dakota & Vegas, don’t look forward to the sexual freedom male BC promises. Join us God-fearing men in our principled starvation. A day of reckoning is coming for the sexually immoral and when it comes, the living will envy the dead. You don’t have to be a Christian to recognize the danger of an STD superbug. Do you want to spend your old age taking expensive pills to keep the warts on your dick from sprouting warts of their own? Hoping the liver damage from hepatitis doesn’t catch up with you? Or merely caught up in the meat grinder of bastardy, frivorce and false rape accusation? For your own sake, zip it up before something incurable happens.

  9. Feminist Hater says:

The comments on the birth control and the articles are horrendous. If you think women care about men, go read them. You will realise women hate, and I mean, hate men. Don’t care for them, leave them be. Let them take all the responsibility. I pray to God Hilary wins, women deserve it so much!

  10. jew613 says:

Feminist Hater, deep down the women hate because they know they have undeserved pride. They are told their entire lives they are superior to men in every way. Then they actually deal with men and their inferiority in every measurable way becomes apparent. They are physically weaker, mentally weaker, incapable of logic, or understanding long term cause and effect. They can’t even cooperate well. If they would be encouraged to do what they are capable of doing well, which is being wives and mothers, they’d be much happier and lose the hate.

Pentagon continues to lower its reruitment standards: http://www.militarytimes.com/articles/recruiting-standards-may-change-secdef-says?utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Early+Bird+Brief+10.02.2016&utm_term=Editorial+-+Early+Bird+Brief

Defense Secretary Ash Carter has launched a sweeping review of the military’s recruiting standards, saying current rules for screening new entrants may be “overly restrictive” and preventing America’s most talented young people from joining the ranks.

Among the benchmarks that will get new scrutiny: fitness standards, marijuana use, tattoo regulations and the military’s longtime reluctance to allow single parents to start military careers.

Because most “single parents” are women, I guess this means that the Pentagon will make it easier for Strong, Independent Single Mothers to enjoy a military career. It’s not like they have any unique medical issues or family responsibilities that make them less fit for frontline combat duty.

I can all but guarantee you that “single parents” here means specifically “single mothers“. Single fathers will need not apply unless they can provide ironclad proof that they have a workable dependent care plan for their children for when they are deployed – something currently required of ALL single parents on active duty, but mysterious NEVER enforced for single active-duty mothers (ask feeriker how he knows this!).

I would wager a month’s pay that a camel will be able to pass through the eye of a needle more easily than a single father will be able to enlist for the first time in tomorrow’s military (why he would WANT to is a whole other question). Single mothers? They’ll probably start paying them special bonuses to enlist …

  13. I say let them enjoy their little feminist triumphalism and snark a few months more.

Meanwhile, Vasalgel rolls ahead. Study completed last month reveals more surveyed men than anticipated would be a.) willing to use Vasalgel intervention (50%) themselves, and b.) men surveyed view it favorably as an important invention (78%).

Haven’t tattoos always been somewhat common in military? And smoking pot? Both my granddads have tats from their military days back in the day. And my uncles all smoked pot in Vietnam and did LSD there too. In fact the military did LSD experimentation on the troops back then.

  15. Random Angeleno says:

hello can you see the draft from here?
I sure can, first time the PTPB really try the new military, they’ll want the draft reinstated cuz they’re entitled to our best and brightest, not our dregs who don’t have many other choices.

  16. Original Laura says:

    @feeriker; @Red Pill Latecomer

What is going on with military recruitment? I read somewhere recently that they are cutting the military (or maybe the Army???) from 1.3 million to 9XX,XXX. I also read, possibly on this blog, that men were enlisting who would have qualified for officer slots a few years ago. The economy is horrible, so why would standards need to be lowered? Surely this is the perfect time to create a smaller but higher quality military?
