Gotta ask the boss.

As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

–Isaiah 3:12, KJV

Michael Moore is proposing that the US repeal the Second Amendment and replace it with a new amendment.  Moore’s proposed amendment would include a provision to make a man get permission from his wife or girlfriend before buying a gun:

As over 90% of gun violence is committed by men, in order for a man to purchase a gun, he must first get a waiver from his current wife, plus his most recent ex-wife, or any woman with whom he is currently in a relationship (if he’s gay, he must get the waiver from his male spouse/partner). This law has greatly reduced most spousal/domestic gun murders in Canada.

CNS News points out that Moore is not entirely accurate in his description of Canada’s law:

An information sheet and firearm license application form posted online by the Canadian Royal Mounted Police suggests that conjugal partners don’t have to sign off on the license; they just must be notified of their partner’s intent to obtain one

CNS News also notes that under Moore’s proposed amendment MGTOW’s would be treated like adults and not need a woman’s permission to buy a gun.

Moore’s plan does not require waivers for single men who are loners and shun relationships who want to buy guns.

As absurd as Moore’s proposal is, it is being presented as a serious solution from the left. The Hill closes Michael Moore proposes ’28th Amendment’ to regulate gun ownership with:

Democratic lawmakers are facing pressure from the left to introduce new anti-gun violence measures after Sunday’s shooting, which was the most deadly in modern U.S. history.

Republicans have rejected the idea that such violence has a legislative solution.

I, like most people, would’ve walked away laughing from something as asinine as this just a few short years ago. But I think it’s only a matter of time before both the First and Second Amendments are deratified in some way or another. The rainbow-haired, androgynous Regressive Left Army is closing in.

  2. Proudly Unaffiliated says:

Michael Moore is suffering from an advanced case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. His situation is dire indeed– as demonstrated by his unhinged zombie-like actions/comments to infect and propagate this virulent social disease to others. He needs professional help and a weight loss program.

Great. Another reason not to get married…and, isolated loners never are mass murderers.

When is the gov’t going to make citizens register their girlfriends to the state?

  7. Gunner Q says:

I bet the Left would handle gun ownership the way they handle marriage: You have a sacred and inviolate right to own a gun… unless you might possibly be misusing that right and then your wife can take your guns away and shoot you with them preemptively while the authorities cheer her on. You have to be a RESPONSIBLE gun owner, dangit! And that means using your guns ONLY to keep your wife safe! We don’t let you own guns for YOUR benefit! STOP having so much FUN! It makes you look like DONALD TRUMP OMG I’M SO TRIGGERED KILL KILL KILL!!!!

  8. DrTorch says:

“serious solution from the left” That’s an oxymoron.

Oh it’s serious that we have to deal with such people, and Prov 19:29 and 26:3 instruct the proper way. But the effeminate church has been too cowardly to do this for the past 200 years, and the results speak for themselves.

Now we’re getting a 40′ statue of a nude woman for public viewing at the nation’s capital. Any question that we’re a pagan country now? I assume Ashera poles are next.

Anyway, just a rant about the cowardice of the US Christian church over the past several decades. I don’t know why anyone would suggest that Wilson, Beyley, Piper, MacArthur or even Finney (with his adherence to Sylvester Graham) have any authority in Christian matters. Instead I’d suggest that Ezek 34 and 2 Peter 2 are appropriate scriptures for this lot.

  9. Uncle Silas says:

The elite believe left-wing authoritarianism and, subsequently, totalitarianism will keep the working and middle classes properly docile. However, globalism, multiculturalism, immigration, and an unsustainable entitlement state (acccording to the CBO the debt will be $30 trillion by 2027) argue otherwise. Dissolution and partition are America’s future. Two things are guaranteed to speed this process – the abolition of the Electoral College and the destruction of the Second Amendment.

  10. Frank K says:

When is the gov’t going to make citizens register their girlfriends to the state?

I suspect that common law marriage will be coming back. Of course, this will have unintended consequences, as secular men will avoid cohabitation as much as they are now avoiding marriage. Sure, they’ll still sleep with their girlfriends; they just won’t live with them. After the do the deed, they’ll get dressed and go home. At least the smart ones will.

  11. feministhater says:

Soon men will be required to get their wife’s or GF’s permission to take a piss, to leave the house, to drive a car or to enter a voting booth. Why do they even allow men to vote anymore, it’s obvious that women already know what’s good for them anyway?

  12. feministhater says:

Moore’s plan does not require waivers for single men who are loners and shun relationships who want to buy guns.

And then they’ll wonder why men won’t get married or have girlfriends even more than they do now. It’s as if they don’t understand the laws of unintended consequences…. oh no wait, they do, they really, really do.

Local mega church had a small group listing for a ‘radical men’s mentoring group’ that I emailed for more information about. This church is non-dom but quite conservative for the area; forbids female teachers and gives lip service to submission when it comes up.

Sounds like a Churchian group. Seems that is becoming par for the course in the non-dom world. I’ll bet that comparable church groups for the ladies do not require signed permission slips from hubby.

Yup. They just make it more and more intolerable to marry or even live with a cunt. But, nah, feministhater you just can’t get laid! You live in mommy’s basement! You’re gay! You hate women! Just learn game! (/sarc) Blah, blah, blah.

BTW, it’s funny how many of these so-called “alphas” sound like women isn’t it? These two groups of idiots just can’t get it through their thick heads that MGTOW is about cost/benefit analysis. The juice is just not worth the squeeze. Some men don’t want their lives totally annihilated. How hard a concept is this to grasp? I personally know a former PUA in real life who became MGTOW (I know plenty online). Many MGTOWs are just formerly married guys who got fucked over by their cunty ex-wives. Some, like me, learned to not jump off the cliff before waiting to see if you’re killed once you reach the bottom.

A man as ZERO rights in his own home. Hell, according to the courts it’s not even his it’s his wife’s! And his kids? They’re property of the mother, the man’s is just a human wallet. This isn’t hard people. False rape accusations, false DV and child molestation accusations, divorce rape…I mean fuck! Don’t these people get it yet? This isn’t hard people. Looking for NAWALT is like winning the lottery. It’s one in a million+ chance. And I don’t play the lottery. Like marriage it’s just not worth it.

This Michael Moore fag is just yet another attempt at telling men how stupid and irresponsible they are while telling women how incredible and perfect they are. Us men are so stupid that we need some cunt’s permission to buy a gun according to him? Never mind that it was a MAN who INVENTED the damned thing, like just about everything else! Although I will say that men are still stupid enough to get married, the one thing they should not be encouraging yet think men are somehow worth less if they’re not. Yeah, ok.

If Moore or any other fag thinks shaming is going to change our minds they’re only fooling themselves. Try ending your gynocentric bullshit and fix the fucking laws already if you’re so concerned! If not, sit down, shut up and stop bitching about MGTOWs growth because it’s only only going to grow larger the more oppressive these misandric laws get.

Further, it’ll continue to weed out Cuckservatives and pajama boy democrats from the gene pool.

I don’t think Moore wants what he’s gonna get. It’s no different than his predictions that Trump would win the presidency.

    @Earl

-The old mythologer would seem to have been right in uniting Ares and Aphrodite, for all warlike races are prone to the love either of men or of women. This was exemplified among the Spartans in the days of their greatness; many things were managed by their women. But what difference does it make whether women rule, or the rulers are ruled by women? The result is the same. Even in regard to courage, which is of no use in daily life, and is needed only in war, the influence of the Lacedaemonian women has been most mischievous. The evil showed itself in the Theban invasion, when, unlike the women other cities, they were utterly useless and caused more confusion than the enemy. This license of the Lacedaemonian women existed from the earliest times, and was only what might be expected.

Using the Western Roman Empire as an historical antecedent, the answer is yes, that’s exactly what happened (and no, despite the Emperor Constantine’s faux “conversion” and subsequent fiat that Rome was a “Christian” nation, the empire was in practice never anything other than pagan).

We may be seeing history repeat itself when great empires go down.

Absolutely. To paraphrase an old, but completely accurate cliché: the one thing we humans inevitably and consistently learn from history is that we never learn from history. Even animals have enough innate sense to avoid repeating mistakes that almost got them killed. What excuse do humans have?

  27. Anon says:

The problem with this statement is that it implies that cuckservatives actually have principles. I’ve seen ZE-RO evidence of this being true.

Yes, maybe those are not principles, but just what they claim to value :

    i) Small government
    ii) Personal accountability
    iii) Gun control

In reality, these could be toppled tomorrow if the left decides to find a way to make any of those something that will be removed if a woman disapproves. Hence, Michael Moore’s idea will in fact work if implemented, as he has (by accident) found the fastest way to get a cuckservative to cave and switch sides.

Most people don’t know what is involved in amending the US Constitution. That’s why dunces like Mike Moore throw around such ideas; free publicity as they strike a “I’m Doing Something!” pose, but zero actual work / cost will be needed. Because it’s just empty noise that won’t go anywhere.

From memory: an Amendment must pass both houses of Congress. Then it goes to the various States for possible ratification. It must be ratified by a supermajority both in Congress and States.

    This is grandstanding. Nothing more.

It’s hard to say because disease and trade patterns could end a nation overnight for most of history. “Successful society” generally meant “enough food”. Even today, plenty enough nations are impoverished from the greed and pride of their rulers or the lawlessness of their people rather than female appeasement. Original Sin isn’t the only way to go FUBAR; abolishing private property is a good one, too.

“The ‘radical men’s mentoring group’ send out an email that required the married men to get a signed permission slip from their wives in order to attend…”

  41. Darwinian Arminian says:

Moore’s proposed amendment would include a provision to make a man get permission from his wife or girlfriend before buying a gun.

Even if the government somehow realized that this would create yet another disincentive for men to get married (big if, I know) wouldn’t this be pretty easy to circumvent? I’m reminded of a post that was once up at the late, lamented “University of Man” blog where one of the professors wrote about how he had wanted to get a vasectomy so that he wouldn’t have to worry about any “unplanned” pregnancies. Unfortunately, most doctors refuse to perform this service for single men and will only do so for married men if their wife signs off on the decision. So he solved his problem by getting one of his fuck-buddies who was also a single mom to join him at the clinic with her kids, pose as his wife, and give her assent in person so that her “husband” could have his procedure. Problem solved! Now why not take the same approach when I want to go buy myself an AR-15?

If anything, this would open up some interesting new options for women hired out as escorts. Though the question to ask here is: If I paid a girl for her “services,” and then just had her accompany me while I went out to buy a gun before I returned her to her place of business without ever having sex with her, could the law still charge me with soliciting a prostitute?

  42. Frank K says:

Back when I was selling home-improvements it was rare to hear a husband voice his decision to purchase or not, always “we” or “the boss”.

A few years ago my wife got into her head that she wanted one of those $2000 cast iron Kirby vacuum cleaners. I shut that down and fast, even after the sales droid said he’d lower the price, just for us. I told him no freaking way and that he could leave. My wife pouted for a while, but she got over it.

Another example. We had a broken window in a spare room, the inner pane was broken in an accident. Since it was in a unused room and it still kept the elements out, it was out of sight and out of mind. Until a slick door to door window vendor gave my wife an $800 quote to replace the whole window. Again, I told her she was being ripped off. I then removed the sash, took it to a local glass shop where I had both panes replaced with low E glass for about $130.

  43. Oleaginous Outrager says:

“90% of gun violence is committed by men”

Men of which ethnic groups, hmmm? Would they need “permission” from their baby mamas to get a gun? Oh wait, the groups that commit most of the “gun violence” are already acquiring their weapons illegally! But it’s racist to mention that, and besides, they mostly only kill in ones and twos, and mostly only each other, so Moore can still sleep soundly even with that knowledge.

  44. Tarl says:

Last night returning on the train from London I found myself sitting next to a young woman who on her lap-top was – as I could see – writing an essay on the British Constitution. The heading said that Britain had a Constitutional Democratic Monarchy; What nonsense they teach people today at University, I thought.

No one ever came up with the idea that Britain had a constitution until Walter Begehot in 1868 wrote a book entitled the English Constitution. In other words Britain does not have a constitution and I maintain that such can only exist as with the United States when it enacts a written document. The problem with such constitutions are that they are subject to amendment which amendments may be repealed. This rather defeats the purpose of the Constitution.

It strikes me therefore as somewhat ironic that Britain or rather its lawyers are responsible for the writing of many of the worlds constitutions namely those that we so generously prepared for those of our Empires former colonies at independence.

The colonies were also established in a uniform language and many customs.

The fathers and faces of the American Revolutionary War were very well versed in enlightenment philosophy of governance, principle and practice. The exact reasons and causes for the revolution are very numerous….and can be debated or discussed at another time!

I had mine at 40. Not because I am a player but I had really zero options, and none coming. I also decided that IF I did ever get married, we would adopt and I was going to have to play the step-dad role more than likely…………or her children would be at the age when they were making those first steps of “leaving” the house.

    I also just didn’t want to be a first time dad at 40, 43, 45, 47.

The one nurse at the clinic DID try to talk me out of it. She flattered me “You’re a handsome man, you have a lot to offer a woman, this is a serious choice!”

It was a serious choice, and one I stand by. Is it right for everyone? Probably not……..but “she’s the boss” and so goes California, so goes the nation in many ways. Married men sooner than later will need the permission of their wife for this “reproductive choice”

I’ll copy the email and “Men’s Radical Mentoring Mentee Covenant”

Email, only had the one line but it was enough for me to raise red flags.

First, you are to be commended for seeing the value for you as a participant in our Men’s Radical Mentoring program. This is a unique church experience for the few who sincerely want to be the best they can be as men, husbands, sons, fathers, providers, church leaders, and – in general – the best they can be as followers of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

What we are talking about is a limited time learning experience of about 9 months with a small group of highly motivated men who will be shepherded by a more senior, mature Christian man who has travelled the road less travelled and been through many of life’s experiences just as you will probably do during your lifetime. And being able to discuss life’s issues with your peers in a group setting completes the educational experience.

This experience is not named “Radical Mentoring” for no reason. Those involved will meet for several hours once a month and study many of life’s challenges from a Biblical perspective. Completion of homework assignments is a big part of our methodology. Typical of some of the topic areas we will be studying are:

Exploring the Bible, Prayer, Marriage and Dating, Family Life, Disciple Making, Defending the Faith, Stewardship and the church, Church leadership, and a few other topics.

Our teaching methods will include Scripture memory, Book reviews, Group discussion, Prayer, and Marriage assignments. And speaking of marriage, for those married your wife will be asked to “sign off” on allowing her husband to be a full functioning part of his mentoring group.

“Men’s Radical Mentoring Mentee Covenant”. Didn’t open it until now but the last line is….

I am hereby making a covenant to the following:

I want to become an ‘all-in’ Christ follower, husband, father, son, brother, friend, disciple-maker.

I understand that I will take direct, unfiltered feedback. I will do everything in my power to receive it in love and learn from it. I will avoid defensiveness, realizing that when I defend, I lose the opportunity to learn. I am committing to being open to examine myself—my personality, my past, my habits, my anger and my responses to people. I want to learn; I want to change, I want to be more like Jesus Christ in every fiber of my being.

I understand that I am committing to attending every meeting, being there on time and to have my work done. No exceptions unless providentially hindered. We will lay out our schedule for the year at our first meeting and I will manage my other commitments around the dates that are scheduled.

I am committing to the entire course and will finish strong!

I understand that this mentoring process is based upon Jesus Christ, His message, and His plan for our lives. I want to grow in my faith.

I further covenant that, at some time in the future, when the Lord lets me know that I am ready, that I will become a mentor and possibly even lead a group like this myself.

I commit to total confidentiality. What is said in the group stays in the group. No exceptions.

If married, I have discussed this with my wife and she fully supports my involvement. She willingly relinquishes the time that I will need to attend sessions and to do the readings and homework, with the goal of becoming a godlier husband and father.

Michael Moore is an imbecile! I cannot stand the sight of the fat, ugly f***. We do have stricter laws here in Canada concerning ownership of firearms. But,it is the legal, law abiding owners that pay the price for our draconian laws.I have an FAC(Firearms Acquisition Certificate). When I got mine all you had to do was apply, have a background check done by the police and attend a 1 day class on firearms. No big deal.If you wanted a handgun then you have to apply for a “restricted weapons permit” on top of the FAC. Where the idiot laws come into play is in the storage. For example,my 12-gauge shotgun. It must secured with a trigger lock and stored in a locked firearms storage locker and ammunition must be locked away in another room separate from the gun….wtf? So if you have a home invasion you do not have the time to get the gun?……wtf sense does that make!

Also, what the bleeding heart liberal dems never tell you. There are more ILLEGAL firearms on the streets of Toronto than legal firearms in the city.We have shootings all the time. Not at the record of US cities but,99.9% of the time they are from illegal firearms.Another point that you will hear from your NRA(and they are correct)…..Toronto is the “home invasion capital of North America”…..You never hear the dem-tards mention this. The NRA rightfully and consistently points this out about Toronto. If you go out to Alberta you will see a lot more guns.Kind of a “wild west” mentality. Incidentally, there is a very large political party out there(can’t remember the name) that if ever voted in will leave Confederation and join the American Union with full Statehood. Most Canadians do not realize this. They get a lot of votes every election.

I myself abide by the firearms laws that we have. But,I have a compound bow that I keep close by.If I ever encounter a home invader he will be getting a five point razor sharp titanium arrow right through him. Also, guns make too much noise. With the bow no one will ever here anything! This is a trick that I learned from other firearms owners.Pull out the arrow and drag the body out onto the street somewhere……or take it to the garbage dump where it belongs!

The mentee pledge is from https://radicalmentoring.com/. I guess, in fairness, the wives are going to be asked to host a dinner and meet with the other wives of the men in the program. The leaders of the organization want to make sure they are part of the process and assume that, given the subservience of modern Christian men toward their wives, they wouldn’t stand a chance getting the level of participation they need without the buy-in from the women. One could give them the benefit of the doubt and say they are just being pragmatic.

The real question is whether by the end of the program, the husbands are then given a pledge to start taking real biblical headship of their homes. That pledge should obviously have no place for the wife to sign.

  66. I would suggest that Mr. Moore needs someone else’s permission every time he wants to eat a hot dog.

  67. Jason says:

In Colonial New England there was a strong educational ethic, puritanical in its own way that all should be able to read and write (you know……to read “The Bible”). In North Carolina, and Virginia early education was usually run from a “home” where the local children of the hamlet, shire or town came to learn to read. Usually that of a pastor or “called” person in Christian faith (usually Methodist after 1750). The colonial South did have “education” acts on the books since the early 1700’s and this region was sparsely populated compared to New England, and the mid-Atlantic seaboard (New York City, Newark, Philadelphia, Trenton).

I personally think the “distance” from The Crown encouraged this. If the thirteen colonies had been in Bedforshire instead of across the Atlantic……things may have been very different.

  68. That this idea would ever be a serious consideration speaks volumes about how masculine gender-loathing has become endemic in western culture. I get that Michael Moore is a self-inflicted cuck, but all I’m seeing in the wake of the Vegas shooting is less about gun control and more about male control.

It’s no longer about categorizing masculinity as “toxic” or “hyper” – that narrative is officially dropped after this shooting. Now ANY masculinity is a threat, ANY expression of conventional masculinity is the true problem. Suggesting that a woman’s oversight and discernment should be necessary for a man to have access to a civil right only further reinforces what I’ve been saying for some time now – only the feminine is ‘correct’ in any social discourse. Only the feminine is legitimate in exercising judgement, educating new generations and deciding which man will breed and which will not.

Think about this; what’s being suggested is that men be denied a right that only women should legitimately have. For all the fallacious blathering of women in pink pussy hats about how they think they’re losing rights today, here we have an actual right of men being denied by women, by the Feminine Imperative.

I’ve never married but the idea of being servile and p-whipped to a wife who you wouldn’t even want to see naked is so lifeless. If a 20 year old Sofia Vergara insists that I go curtain shopping with her all afternoon before she blows my mind that night, then, well, okay dear.

That’s one thing I’ve noticed lately in gender related writings/talks. There is this standard acceptance that women maintain sexual power and that men will always capitulate to our sexually marvelous better halves. When they withhold the lingerie show for a day or two, the men will immediately kowtow. That’s how the battle of the sexes goes. That golden vaj runs the show. And women are sooo beautiful. What can we do? There is this across the board acknowledgement that women are such sexual dynamos that men can’t really confront that. That’s how it plays out in written theorizing at least. How about real life? Outside of college-aged couples here and there (still not common), I almost never see a woman post 25 whose sexual clout is anywhere near this kind of golden rule of females as sexual powerhouses who cannot be denied.

There’s so much wrong here that I have to comment. Bows have a minimum range of arm length plus arrow length; very bad for indoor use. You don’t have a hand free for lights or doors, either. The bow itself is silent but your target won’t be; arrows don’t cause the impact trauma that bullets do, especially multi-points designed to kill through blood loss. That provides lots of time to scream and makes an impressive blood trail to your front door after moving the body.

Better to keep a sharpened file or claw hammer next to your bed. An “improvised” deadly weapon is much easier to defend using in court than a knife, gun or bow. Then you don’t have to fear the cops for the rest of your life.

I totally agree. It all comes down to our laws.Shoot a home invader with a bow and you will get “assault with a deadly weapon”….same as a hammer.Shoot him with a shot gun?…..manslaughter,illegal firearm storage, discharging a firearm etc.etc. The bow is good for about 40 yards,I know that. But,our laws are draconian. This is just a way around them.Actually, the proper way to deal with this, according to authorities,is “call the police and wait for them”. My attitude is this….”I would not call those f*****g bums to take out my garbage”…..Therefore,I will take my chances.

This is why, in the event of a home invasion, you KILL (not frighten, not stun, not disable) with whatever weapon is most readily at hand. THEN you dispose of the remains. How and where really depends on where you live and what terrain is available where no one will find the remains until many years have passed, if ever (I live in the Southern Arizona desert where there’s LOTS of open land that no one ever sets foot on, so perhaps I’m at an unfair advantage should this contingency ever arise).

Anyway, the point is that 1) DO NOT EVER involve “law enforcement” unless you have a desire to end your life as you’ve always known it; 2) make sure you have plenty of 55-gallon contractor trash bags on hand, along with several pounds of quick lime, a circular saw, and a good shovel. and 3) be prepared to do the clean up alone, unless you have a spouse, family, or close friends of like mind who aren’t squeamish about self-defense and the responsibilities and outcomes it will possibly (if unfortunately) entail.

It was funded by their Union and the statewide “peace officers association”

For the most part, the police in my city don’t stop, or even try to prevent crime. They come with their vans, buses, tanks, occupying force AFTER the bloodshed and clean up the mess of dead bodies…..

After my arrest in 2008 for “assaulting a peace officer” (I didn’t), my trust of them in general was gone, and the punk cop who did “file” the charges on me couldn’t even show his face and bother to show up at my arraignment. If I may consider further the subject of compulsory education.

1870 is very recent. My grandparents were born shortly after the passing of the Act of 1870. The Act nevertheless excluded certain children from attendance at school – those who were in work (!) and those who lived too far away from the nearest school such that attendance would be impossible or at least extremely onerous. The Act makes no distinction as to sex and so the next time some dim-witted Feminist or Male Feminist waxes lyrical as to oppression of women and names education as evidence of this you will be able to demonstrate that not only was there equality of the sexes amongst children aged between five and ten but that until 1870 most people received no formal education. Education is expensive and frequently without point.

America was and is, for better or worse, more advanced. I was therefore somewhat struck by a Lucille Ball, Desi Arnez flick from 1940 Too Many Girls which is set in a University in New Mexico, and where there seemed to be just as many women as men. This must have been the norm but such a movie set in a University in England in 1940 would have seemed implausible which I presume is not the case with Too Many Girls.

What amazes me is that when I was very young a popular song of the time which reached Number 2 in the charts as performed by Mr Lonnie Donegan entitled The Battle of New Orleans described the somewhat embarrassing 1815 British defeat – 1815 being otherwise quite good year for our Army. If we are indifferent to your Revolutionary War it must be because we see America as having like a favoured son who despite youthful petulance has turned out quite well and we like a parent are proud of what our offspring has achieved – that’s my boy.

    Opus! Right on!

I was reading the memoirs of John Adams, and the infamous formal audience meeting of him and King George III a few years after the Treaty of Paris (1781). It was an awkward moment for them both. The bloodshed between a former colony, and Crown. The Empire that “birthed” them, gave them their language, many of their mannerisms, much of their traditions; and the unsure new nation that was still viewed by many in England as a “colony” that would flounder, fail or come begging back to the Empire for defense, help or eventual reunification……….

The way Adams describes King George III, as an American……you feel for King George III and his position he was in after the surrender…..and it would take probably over 100 years for the relationship to fully heal (World War I more than likely) between the two nations. Yes, there was trade, yes there was that “other” war (1812), then a slow, long process of healing between the two nations………

Look, in the USA today……9 out of 10 high schoolers think “Health Care” is a right “guaranteed” by the Constitution. 40% of Californians finishing high school can’t even read at “a fourth grade level” but they all know how to put condoms on. American teachers also claim they put in 110% every day (we know this to be a crock).

My parents were both immigrants. My father came to the USA in 1946 from Poland as a nine year old boy, and my mother arrived with The Beatles in 1964 at the age of nineteen. They both had a deep love for their “adoptive” nation. Despite my “Polish” last name, my mother did raise me in too many ways “culturally British” but always reminded me of the hope the USA was and is to the world, despite its problems……..

Giving people the truth is our business. What they do with it is their business.

Most likely not. He’s probably one of those schlubs who has convinced himself that a slut brings “experience” to the relationship (and will be bewildered into anguish when she “dead bedrooms” him in short order). That, or he already knows all about her and has no intention of treating her as anything other than a short-term piece of ass.

    Fair point.

Reminds me of one of Boxer’s older posts about single mothers and the tricks they do to try and hook a man….and then change once they do. I don’t doubt this is what actually happens.

Yet another example of “his body, her choice”. Well know about “my body, my choice” and how that applies only to women. There is also “a woman’s right to privacy” with respect to ehast she and her doctor decide to do about, well, just about anything. The husband has no such right, not even when it is solely about his own body.

    ‘well .. hmmmmm’

Social scientists have told us that because married people monitor each other, they stay healthier. But single people exercise more than married people. On average, people became fatter after they got married.

Main reason…free time. I can easily go an hour in the gym daily if I want to. It’s a lot easier to have a hobby and work on a craft too.

I didn’t notice a man-woman split when it came to a happy single life. I wonder if that was on purpose.

Because I think more men are comfortable being single than women are…as evidence to them making their pets into their children.

That’s exactly my thought .. were’s the split (re: male & female #’s).

Because .. we know the results .. and .. they (re: woman author) need to continue to provide cover for “th wimminz” ™.

“Yeah they also know how to use a man and get them to do whatever they want too. At least with a chaste one you got a shot of them seeing you as a human instead of an ATM machine or an emotional punching bag.”

Yeah but how long does that last? The “chaste” ones pick up the human ATM/emotional manipulator thing too.

As with all things…it’s not foolproof. There’s plenty of immoral women out there corrupting the good ones. It’s up to the good ones to see through the nonsense.

    How about this…

“I want to have sex with her without her consent (rape?), she will refuse and resist unlike an indefensible child in the womb, but at least I am not going to harm her painfully… hey, at least I am not going to kill her like an unborn child, IT IS MY BODY AND MY RIGHT TO DISCHARGE MY SEXUAL THIRST ON HER!!

Think about it, no pain, no harm, no murder like abortion.
