Not tired enough to stop.

Feminism is the assertion that men are evil and naturally want to harm women, followed by pleas to men to solve all of women’s problems.

–Dalrock’s Law of Feminism

Jessica Valenti writes in Dear Men, Feminism Needs You that she is tired of nagging men to do what she wants them to do.

Stop waiting for us to explain everything, and start doing the work

She explains that her desire to nag men is yet one more burden men have placed upon her:

…someone asked a question I’ve been asked a hundred times before: How can feminists do a better job of reaching men?

…I answered that I don’t really care about reaching men anymore. It’s too exhausting, too demeaning. It’s absurd that a woman should have to persuade someone else of her humanity (which is, remember, what feminism is actually about).

That’s not to say I don’t think men’s support is necessary for women to make real progress. It is. But men can and should figure out for themselves how to be a true ally to women — without creating more work for us.

Yet Valenti is tireless in her selfless willingness to nag.  Despite what is an unbearable burden, she manages to summon the will to nag, if only to nag men into not making her want to nag them.  But this comes with a stern warning.  If men don’t stop making her want to nag them, Valenti will feel the desire to reject us instead of nagging us.  Who would nag us then?

Men, if you see all of this and still require convincing — why in the world would we want you on our side? How can we trust a person who can look at the victim blaming and backlash, the discrimination and bigotry, and still not be sure that feminism is necessary?

We should not have to persuade you or try to “bring you along”; you should be outraged already. And not just because we are your “wives, daughters, or mothers” — but because we are people.

Consider yourselves warned men.  If we don’t shape up and do what she wants, she’ll be angry with us.  Almost too angry to nag us.  But not quite, for she is a gracious nag.  Let this be a warning to all of us either way.

When I read Song of Solomon 5, Proverbs 21: 9 or Matthew 19:10 it sounds like MGTOW and not like a modern Christian book on marriage. Then again, perhaps this advice is how we ought treat female advice; Gen 3:17 Then to Adam He said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat from it’; cursed is the ground because of you; in toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. (NASB)
Coming from a 37 year happy marriage here where she understands her Biblical role. I do seek her advice, and most of all God’s, but at the end it is my decision. My wife has learned not to nag. If she wants something she asks pleasantly and waits for my decision. Else she gets the silent treatment, as per Biblical advice.

  2. SnapperTrx says:

The death of feminism would come quickly if only the two sexes ended up on binary sides: All Men vs. All Women. Might be more blessing than curse.

  3. Fnu Mnu Lnu says:

Ms Valenti’s comments are perhaps the strongest support for adopting MGTOW that I have ever seen.

  4. William of Orange County says:

Deep down in the heart of every woman is the indelible understanding that they are essentially powerless in the physical world as received. Men have been hard-wired to understand how the physical world, in all of its harshness, operates and – within the boundaries of the truth of its system – create solutions to problems as basic as survival all the way to splitting the atom. Systems creation is not just technical, but also abstract, such as the understanding of human nature.

Women fundamentally hate the idea of facts. The idea that some girls are prettier than she is, or that the god of biomechanics has doomed her to a prime window of fertility, or that she finds it more difficult to cooperate with other females in ways that men don’t suffer from, or that she can’t physically do half the things that men can do and that she needs their help.

Facts, the truth are but a lie undediscovered for most women. They’re a talking point that can be molded, bent, cajoled, rehearsed into something the sounds truish…eventually someday to become true. I think the biblical sages and those of other faiths and cultures have all seen this at one point or another. They’ve all seen this innate desire for rebellion against truth and facts as received from forces beyond our control as a fundamental attempt on the part of women throughout history to attempt to get into a debate about the entire universal structure with God himself (appropriate that even they universally always see God as a man). They essentially want God to apologize for making them women.

Feminists deep down know the actualization of their entire end game is bullshit. They themselves know it is impossible to bring this forth from themselves. Even the 19th amendment needed men to buy-in for it to come about, and that a true war of the sexes would be over in about a day as they couldn’t hold toe-to-toe with 98% of men, despite their wonder-woman fantasies.

All they can do is endlessly nag. I say let them. Let her. Someday the internet will turn off and the power will go out. I, we, will be fine.

Why do we have feminism? “Because you obeyed the voice of your wife…” Now don’t make the same mistake again.

This is just a higher profile version of a fitness test. Imagine Valenti as a middle aged, post-Wall woman in her second marriage who is just stamping her foot because her husband won’t man up and demand a better seat at Chez Expensif!

The conclusion is pure back-turn, stomp across the room, pause at the door, look over the shoulder, screaming “Ooooh! You make me so mad!” little-girl temper-tantrum.

I am now at the stage where I actually enjoy these public meltdowns by aging feminists, and look forward to more of them. Because eventually they will become so blatantly ridiculous, so full-on Trigglypuff, that some women will decided “Ick. That’s a bad look!” while even ordinary Beta men will realize they need to quit pedestalizing women.

“Stop me before I nag again” — such a winning approach. What man wouldn’t want to run out and buy a new fedora just so he could tip it to M’Lady Jessica, eh?

Really like that turn of phrase.

Who knew it was so difficult to be an effective mangina? All he wants to do is be appropriately subservient to Jessica and all women, so he asks how he can grovel help out more. “How can I do a better job of making all men more like I am?” “Tell me what to do”.

And BLAM! Right between the eyes. “Why don’t you already know what to do!?” “I’m sick of having to tell you the things you should be doing to serve me and all women!” Says Jessica.

“Why can’t you men just get it?”

I was speaking at an event this week when someone asked a question I’ve been asked a hundred times before: How can feminists do a better job of reaching men? It’s a reasonable query, and for years I’ve answered it by pointing out all the ways women can talk to the men in their lives about feminism, and how they can help. But this time, I’d run out of patience.

How about I give it a shot then, Jessica?
Well, you Feminists could start out by trying to appeal to men, by actually being appealing to men.
    https://thetransformedwife.com/men-prefer-debt-free-virgins-without-tattoos/
Stop dying your hair unnatural colors, quit with your mouthy shrill demands, be demure and winsome. Give men the respect they are due, and your genuine needs will not fall on deaf ears my impatient sister. Submit your request to your man, and act in a deserving fashion, and you will likely be given what your man deems best for you. How wonderfully you will be cared for, if you only show yourself a worthy helper to your man. You’ll be the fish with all she needs, including the bicycle she even dreamed of!

Women are being killed for saying no to men.(then you link to another predictable story about a woman breaking her vow and tearing her husband out of his children’s lives and divorce-raping him, pushing him over the edge …Yawn!) Ohio has passed a bill that makes abortion a crime if the fetus has a heartbeat.
So people with a heartbeat, of both sexes, every race, and every imaginable gender, are now going to stop being killed by Feminist women. … If I told you there was cognitive dissonance between your two adjoining sentences, could you even spot it, Jessica?

Poor you, Jessica Valenti, it sounds like you need me to give you a good orgasm to cure your man-hating hysteria. But unfortunately, I’m not offering you that. 26. Days Of Broken Arrows says:

Valentia and her followers don’t realize something. It’s not that feminism didn’t reach men. It’s that it did reach men and they said “EFF OFF!” Every man in the U.S. grew up getting force-fed feminist boilerplate by female teachers, in movies, and even in cartoons. They despise it. The sane ones, anyway. It’s an ideology based on hate and lies. Most men either actively work against it, try to ignore it, or check out altogether. The ones who “support” it are mostly using it as a strategy to get laid or curry favor with women. So long as men build everything you see around you (which they always will), feminism will be a lie.

Thanks for mansplanin’ that to me, earl. Now, perhaps, I know how I can earn the coveted approval of Jessica Valenti, if I call for a stop to the killing of failed wives, and instead help her to kill her babies.

The church is so worldly that the only thing left now, needed to bring the feminazis back to church, is for the churchians to come up with a new sacrament where they roast the baby on a spit and then eat him in remembrance of “Satan’s Supper”.
Please, if you’re a pastor, and reading that, That is not a plan for growing your “ministry”, it is only sarcasm of the maddest sort. But I know you bastards are likely considering it now. … You know! That just might work! We can save the church with a baby bake sale. Feminazis will drive for miles to feast on man flesh. How progressive! Liberals will love me again. Is the cannibalism of an unloved baby so bad? People will love to eat him! And isn’t the church all about love ‘n stuff? We can declare recycling people an eco-friendly virtue. The eucharist wafer is people!
Welcome back to church Jessica. Did you bring your fetus for the sacrament?

  28. Jim says:

A pastor spend $200,000 on a car? This is how greedy, hypocritical Christians are portrayed in Hollywood movies. Yet this pastor provides a real world example, bring shame upon Christians.

Christians who give money to this pastor are chumps. Pastors are supposed to be wise stewards of church resources. Church collections should go for their basic upkeep, the rest spent on helping the poor and spreading the gospel. Not on buying luxury items for their wives.

$200,000 for a car? You can buy a house in some parts of the country for that.

  33. CSI says:

You see this with Intersectionalist feminists. Yes they claim they want allies of a higher privilege level. Men in this example. In other examples it might be white women as allies to a black women’s group.

What can you expect as an “ally”? Reward, praise. No! You are there only because it is the right thing to do. Clear instructions on what to do? No! You aren’t there to be “educated” or “handheld”. To be treated with fairness and consideration. No! You aren’t there to have your fragile male or white ego pandered to.

Read Intersectionalist Feminist sites such as Everyday Feminism you’ll see I’m not exaggerating. There is no motivation for anyone to be an “ally” unless they are a masochist.

  34. Red Pill Latecomer says:

Jessica Valenti can probably find a good job with these folks:

  35. Anon says:

But men can and should figure out for themselves how to be a true ally to women — without creating more work for us.

    Note that :
    i) Valenti married a mangina 5 years younger than her, that she resented even before the wedding.
ii) Men do not do merely 100% of the productive work in the world. Men do 110-120% after all the negative productivity of women is taken into account. This does not mean that no women do productive work, but they are outnumbered by the make-work moochers.

  36. Anon says:

This screed is perfect proof that women (especially ‘feminists’) are completely incapable of grasping how women actually think. Just like a child is not capable of writing a textbook about child psychology.

Most wouldn’t be creepy sex predators though. But this stereotype is used by female feminists to justify their lack of attraction towards male feminists. These are the sort of men (straight) female feminists claim they should be attracted to. In reality, they prefer masculine men same as almost all women.

Not many people know that Christianity spread throughout the east as far as China and Japan as early as the 7th century. Christianity was even influential in the Mongol Empire. All these Christians were wiped out by Islamic conquests.

  47. Luke says:

    1) What everyone here is apparently not grasping is that gender feminists like J. Valenti believe they have the power to grant or withhold is the right for individual, or indeed ANY men to draw breath at all. When she shows frustration with men, she feels the same way as God seems to have felt when He once again encountered unrepentant willfulness from Israelites, that is, half (at least) needed killing, and the rest needed, oh, a century or more of impoverishment and enslavement. THAT is what she feels is reasonable for men not kowtowing to her (often unspoken) desires.

    2) Not only are women largely worthless (outside clerical and medical billets) in the military, and unchangeably so. They do damage as a group by voting, for another. Lastly, they are almost all net tax drains, even the barren lifelong career shrikes. (That’s without even getting into how most noncarer/non-menial jobs held by women are make-work leeches upon society that shouldn’t even exist, or even do harm, such as most gov’t/legal/policy jobs, most teaching jobs these days, etc.)

These graphs (Figures 16 & 17) shows that clearly:

    http://judgybitch.com/2018/04/27/only-men-pay-tax/

    3) Oh, and re the “Ms.” appellation: I don’t use it, and never will. A woman who is neither a Miss nor a Mrs. is to me a neuter, a thing, not a woman, let alone a man. I do not see that I am under any obligation to grant someone a name they choose if I find it offensive, whether it’s a transtesticle, a made-up prefix, or a title of nobility (which as Americans we properly do not recognize in any event).

It’s terrifying to think of just how violently what passes for “the church” in the western world is going to he purged when Jesus returns.

Seriously, these converged churchians who are so convinced of their own salvation have no idea just how ugly their fate is going to be. Professing unbelievers are going to be treated mercifully by comparison. A whole subdivision of Hell is going to be occupied by “pastors.”

  54. Daniel Hughes says:

Look I’m not saying Jessica Valenti can’t help herself but here is my observation.

Stephen Karpman in 1968, explained that from his empirical experience whilst treating mental patients something called the drama Triangle was a very common behavioural anamoly.

The drama triangle consists of the following behavioural traits:

    Victimhood
    Rescuer
    Persecutor

So I’d say early – Jessica wants to persecute all men for just not getting what the feminine imperative wants.

Jessica also believes that she is the victim of something, possibly many atrocities because she is demanding that all men yield and govern their heinous crimes.

And lastly she wants to place men in the Rescuer position.

I’d say that Dr Karpman would recommend that she present herself for treatment.

@Usury kills: I am exactly in your same boat as you. I’m 47, never married, believe all woman are ruined, etc. But, don’t despair. I don’t know what God has planned for you, but despair is from the Devil.

  63. truthteller says:

“$200,000 for a car? You can buy a house in some parts of the country for that.”

Several houses especially in the next couple of years as the housing/credit bubble implodes. I am sure providing free houses to poor families is WJWD.

  64. Romscar says:

I’ve heard it said that feminism can’t even do feminism without men…

  65. Wraithburn says:

Earl, his face looks like the face of a sniveling coward. I’d say she got what she deserved.

As for Valenti, I am reminded of the wisdom of Br’er Rabbit. “Anything but going away Jessica, you can nag me to death, talk until my ears fall off, just don’t go away!”

  66. Warthog says:

Funny how she does not allow comments on her blog. 😀 Nags are not interested in feedback.

  67. Kevin says:

I feel pretty bad for her husband. I mean…sure he choose this. But still, his life must be something to be pitied.

An excellent read from a fence sitter:

In October, Valenti projected everything onto men, especially those lacking pigment (Bizarro DLoF):

  69. Usury kills says:

“Maybe you should start consulting Christians in the Middle-East how that has worked out for them in the last 1400 years.”

“Not many people know that Christianity spread throughout the east as far as China and Japan as early as the 7th century. Christianity was even influential in the Mongol Empire. All these Christians were wiped out by Islamic conquests.”

I hear you Paul and I do not disagree. I am merely suggesting that perhaps this would be the wake up call that many rebellious women, and men would need to get right, or be conquered and disappear

  70. Spike says:

I’m not going to ask Jessica Valenti what work we should be doing. I don’t care. Besides, it won’t be good enough anyway, and she could do a better job herself. Except she can’t, because it would have been done already. Whatever it was.

Just how did some man wife her up? Are there men who are THAT thirsty?

  71. Jack Russell says:

Jessica sounds bitter. Just turned 40. No children, even though she probably wanted some, but would not admit it. Married a guy she would not have looked at in her younger years. No faith as far as I can tell.

  72. sipcode says:

The healing of the church will start with women shutting the fuck up. Yes, even your seeming lovely and godly wives.

  73. ChristianCool says:

@Spike says: “I’m not going to ask Jessica Valenti what work we should be doing. I don’t care.”

Anyone human being who listens to AND follows any advice given by an idiot like Jessica Valenti should be involuntarily committed in a psychiatric ward or have any deadly weapons removed from their reach (i.e. knives, pointy objects, cars, scissors, and voter registration). Someone that stupid is a danger to society as a whole.

Although her last name “Valenti” in Italian means “courageous” (a variant of original Italian word that was slightly Anglicanized), she does not speak Italian as far as I know. The languages she speaks are gibberish, drivel, and twaddle. 😀

@Jack Russell says: “Jessica sounds bitter.”

No kidding! She is not pretty and looking at her old pics reveals she never was. No faith, no kids, not happy, a poor excuse for a female human.
The cuck she married is simply a stooge she uses to pay stuff for her, share bills, and run around on. When she tires of him, she will openly cuck him, humiliate him online, and write a book about the whole cuck-and-divorce-rape thing for the cherry on top.

She will publish the book shortly after she divorce rape him senseless, while widely adored and praised for her “courage” by the American left as a “heroine”. Just watch.

@sipcode says: “The healing of the church will start with women shutting the fuck up. Yes, even your seeming lovely and godly wives.”

Funny you say this, but my late wife would not only ask that I lead out household, she would expect it. I had to even make unpalatable decisions, as she would step back and let me do all the talking.

The new leftist line seems to be “we would not have a partial shutdown if more women in were politics and in positions of power”.

As many of my friends said to me before “your wife was one in a million girl in America today, like winning the lottery once in your life”. I know the odds. That is why my willingness to marry a woman lesser than that seems like folly to me today.

So yeah such women do exist, just extremely rare during this dark period of American life.

  74. Spike says:

‘‘‘Tis the season. Since Jessica Valenti thinks wrapping presents for children is a form of oppression, no Christmas cheer for Jessica.
Rather, a middle finger salute for our Jess and everyone who agrees with her

  75. Real Man of Honor says:

Shut up and make me a sammich.

  76. Just Saying says:

I am thankful to Feminists like Valenti. No man could have ever convinced young women to have sex with men older than their father. Nor could they have destroyed families so that young women will do anything for a word of approval from older men. Women who grew up in a “family” with only the mother crave the touch, and praise of a father-figure. Feminists have made it a “man’s world”. Why not enjoy it? You can’t marry any of them – but why would you, when you can have an unending supply of young women to enjoy? So I won’t say anything bad about a Feminist – they have given me access to so many young women, that I can only thank them.

  77. ChristianCool says:

@Just Saying says: “I am thankful to Feminists like Valenti. Feminists have made it a “man’s world”.”

    Is this a joke?

Younger women do NOT marry older men, especially feminists. Feminism was designed to prevent such a thing from happening. The welfare system was largely designed with feminism in mind, to create a welfare system for women NOT to marry and to ensure they can have kids out of wedlock. In the past, these women would be in serious financial peril for having a kid out of wedlock and not marrying. That is why pre-feminism young women did NOT have kids with losers or out of wedlock.

JustSaying, you have made one of the most absurd arguments in favor of feminism “benefiting men” 🙄 that I have ever heard of. Decades past, older men married younger women on a regular basis. Now these men are judged and the women attacked for doing so.

What in blazes are you talking about, claiming that feminism benefits men??

This must be a troll or a joke.

  79. Hollywood made a two-hour long demonstration of Dalrock’s Law: “Mad Max: Fury Road.”

It is the most politically incorrect film of the decade, masquerading as a feminist parable.

  80. ChristianCool says:

Larry, I read the Mad Max article. It was awesome. 🙂 I was surprised by your observations as well. Highly recommended.

I am sooooooooo glad I stayed entirely single and unattached.
