The right has capitulated in the culture wars.

Larry Kummer of Fabius Maximus has a new post up today about a transgender Miss Universe contestant.  Click through to see the details, but I’ll share this bit of his analysis since it is spot on and relevant to recent posts:

The Left has broken all substantial opposition to its vision of a new society. Even resistance of the evangelicals has broken. This is the pursuit phase of battle: pursuit to crush a foe in full retreat.

Know that after Rights for Transgenders there will be a fourth wave. And a fifth. Until our society has changed beyond recognition.

I’m reminded of a finding back in 2016, where “evangelical faith leaders” overwhelmingly supported… Rubio. But evangelicals themselves were backing Trump.

I’m Catholic. We’re in the middle of an increasingly open rebellion against the undeniably-gay/leftist members of our clergy, and the traditionalists + conservatives sick of being Frank’s useful idiot.

I imagine every other group is experiencing some of the same.

As for the Miss Universe competition, I’m less fazed. That’s not mopping-up so much as SJW corporate cannibalizing. I’m reminded of the Hugo Awards. They took that over. The result, more than anything, is the Hugo Awards are irrelevant.

  2. The Question says:

“Until our society has changed beyond recognition.”

Or a yellow vest movement rises.

  3. DR Smith says:

Actually, if this is thought about a bit more, could be the beginning shot to end radical feminism and #MeToo. It’s not a close held secret their is a battle within feminism camps and trans-woman…so loathe them and some support them, but rarely anything in between. The fireworks, if this person wins, will be interesting and telling.

  4. DR Smith says:

Forgot to add this link: https://www.dailywire.com/news/38669/progressive-feminist-suspended-twitter-after-frank-camp
This is just one of many recent stories in the lamestream media which point out the divide. Could be that trannies end up up doing “Norms” for good than harm. though it is too close to call at this point.

  5. The Question,

You nailed it. That’s exactly the point of my post, and the hundreds like it since 2003. We have the ability to retake the reins of America. Our greatest foe is our weakness and apathy.

We appear to have lost the willingness to bear the burdens of self-government. So others step forward to govern us. That’s nature at work. But we can still change, and step off this path.

Yeah, Christians have long-abandoned the country to its fate, having surrendered in the culture war 30+ years ago.

Interestingly though, red-pilled men – of any faith or none – are still fighting hard and with some success.

  7. JR says:

From the referenced article: “If he – or she, as you prefer – wins.” So you’re saying sex is just a preference?

  8. Jaquio says:

To be honest, this says more about the fading cultural relevance of the Miss Universe pageant than anything else. Seriously: without using Google, try to name a Miss Universe winner. I certainly can’t. If not for this transgender stunt, the pageant wouldn’t even be in the headlines.

Playboy Magazine did the same thing a while back with its first transgender centerfold. Like this, it was a gasp for attention from a dying institution. Who buys Playboy Magazine anymore, or any physical pornographic magazine in this day and age? They can have one last moment in the spotlight by embracing trans ideology, but let’s not pretend anyone truly cared about Playboy or Miss Universe anymore.

  9. JR,

“as you prefer” means that people choose how to talk. Directives about correct speech are, imo, totalitarian.

I believe that people on the other side of the gender can use daft terminology to describe themselves, as is their right as free people. It is polite to politely nod, as if I thought that they were rational.

Just as it is my right to use, within the limits of American tradition, civil disobedience to protest institutions orwellian attempts to control how I speak.

  10. Dave says:

Not surprised. The evangelicals brought sticks to a gun fight. What do you expect.
Feminism is first a spiritual movement, then a socio-political one. Spiritual forces must be spiritually confronted. The evangelicals only fought the socio-political aspects of the movement, while ignoring its spiritual roots.

That said, no matter how entrenched evil might be in a society, a sweeping revival will always uproot and replace it. When God commissions his servant, He does twice as much destruction of entrenched evil in society than he does building godly institutions.

    e.g. Jeremiah:
See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant. (Jeremiah 1:10)

  11. Jaquio,

“let’s not pretend anyone truly cared about Playboy or Miss Universe ”

As I said in the post, these are milestones. Of no significance themselves, but showing how American is changing. It’s like water on the deck of a ship or smoke in the air of an airplane. Even if only a small amount, it shows that something bad is happening.

It is still more evidence that we’re losing, and the Left is successfully remaking American society. We can joke about it, and dismiss each and every change. They’re quite happy if we do that.

Pleasant peasants joke about their rulers, or complain, and sometimes throw futile protests. At the end of the day, they’re still peasants.

  12. Crude says:

    Larry,

I think you’re right, but I also think there’s right-wing wins you may not be seeing.

Gamergate. Comicsgate. Most recently, Gab. Jordan Peterson (yes, yes, I read Vox too, but it’s more complicated than he realizes.) Trump himself. The Conners. Alt-Hero.

It’s quite a list itself. The right is punching back. It’s just that the Christians generally aren’t.

I think one part of the issue is the difference between how the left and right approach conflicts. Leftists take over, tame, and attempt to occupy institutions. The right simply tries to hold what they have, or abandon ones that seem too far gone.

The best successes the Right have seen has been when they’ve attacked SJW culture, or created their own.

  13. Heidi says:

Going on the offensive works. The pro-life movement has succeeded in getting nearly everyone to admit that an embryo or fetus is, in fact, a human being–read the comments section on any liberal article discussing abortion, and you may see bits about “personhood,” but mostly you’ll see people asserting that a woman’s right to autonomy trumps the fetus’s right to continue living, at least in some circumstances. This is a remarkable change from even 20 years ago, when people were still talking of unborn humans as meaningless blobs of cells. Now, do women still have their children butchered? Yes, they do, but the rate has gone down, laws restricting abortion have been passed in some states, and it is no small thing that the argument has shifted so profoundly from “Abortion is not ending a life” to “Here’s why ending a life is justified.” As we have seen in discussions about sex, gender, and homosexuality, changing the language of the debate has huge implications.

  14. Damn Crackers says:

At least Emperor Nero castrated his slave before he could marry him…

Seriously, do you notice that most Evangelical churches other than white churches, eg. African, Korean, etc., place importance on maintaining, preserving, and promoting the interests of their identity in a Christian manner? These identity Evangelicals aren’t the ones promoting LGBTQ acceptance among their members.

This split between “leaders” and ordinary people is obvious all over the US. It is apparent in all sorts of ways, from the admissions policies of Harvard to the way Oxycontin / Fentanyl problems in flyover were ignored for over a decade to the way the Republican leadership treated the T.E.A. party.

It isn’t going to go away, and I expect the demarcation lines to sharpen in the future.

  17. There’s a simpler explanation here.

Miss Universe was Trump’s old beauty pageant. They’re mopping up his legacy by destroying the institution he built up.

I am a part of this Catholic traditionalist + conservative rebellion against the gay/leftist members of the clergy. We don’t really fight with violence but we have strong opinions and talk online. We are sick of clergy who obviously do not believe what they are supposed to believe as Catholics. This culture war is being fought in our Church also. I recently discovered this blog and subscribed because I like it.

Who buys Playboy Magazine anymore, or any physical pornographic magazine in this day and age?

Something that surprised me during our Thanksgiving road trip this year was the number of porn shops on I-70 in Missouri. I was under the impression that those went out with the horse and buggy, They advertised with large billboards on the interstate.

Maybe that’s why it’s known as the “Show me state”?

  22. Frank K says:

Know that after Rights for Transgenders there will be a fourth wave. And a fifth. Until our society has changed beyond recognition.

I suspect that the percentage of mothers who are never married is going to zoom to 80% or more in another 20 years. As many are predicting, marriage will probably become the province of the UMC and ultra conservative religious types.

I’m already seeing middle class acquaintances fully capitulate when their daughters have children out of wedlock. They are thrilled and no one dares to ask “why isn’t she married?”, “what about the father?”, etc.

Throw in the heroic pederasts and Heaven knows what will come after them, and society will indeed be fully unrecognizable. And this will probably happen in 20 years or less. It’s already so unrecognizable now that I feel utterly alienated from society. I don’t watch TV or go to the cinema, because it makes me feel sick. Even watching sports is dicey, as the advertising is increasingly repugnant.

I used to attend the local Comic Con because it was fun. That is no longer the case. The panels are now all politicized to the left and the celebrity panelists spew their decadence and hatred. And this shift happened in just a few short years

  23. Rollory says:

There are plenty of outlets and individuals who resist this sort of crap.

They get denounced and deplatformed by the Official Right, who insist “that’s not who we are”. It’s more important to deplatform someone for saying rude things like “Heather Heyer died of a heart attack because she was obese”, than to defend them for being correct and speaking the truth.

Once that process has more or less completed – as the Weekly Standard and the Yellow Jackets demonstrate, it’s well underway – “the Right” will consist only and entirely of those with manners akin to savage barbarians.

Which is why they will win.

  24. feeriker says:

Even resistance of the evangelicals has broken.

When you have no genuine faith in Jesus, you neither surrender all to Him, nor do you ever truly break free of the world. The sheer scale and depth of capitulation to the culture by self-described “Evangelicals,” coupled with frequent overt hostility of same toward the tiny remnant fighting back against worldly encroachment, serves as a horrifying indication of just how tiny the truly faithful remnant is.

Rollory, your comment prompted me to remember the first protests against Islam in Germany. Most Germans are so cowed by ”muh Holocaust” brainwashing, they live in a permanent state of blood libel in perpetuity that they dare not lift a finger to save themselves…

…Except bikers, soccer fans and skinheads. They assembled in Dresden, marched down the streets in a tight formation and chanted “Salafiste Schweine”. When Muslims and the Left tried a counter demonstation. It didn’t end well for the latter.

Barbarians, Yes. Politically incorrect? Yes. Disowned by the mainstream? Absolutely. Ugly? You betcha. But they are going to win.

  26. Gary Eden says:

I’m seeing a lot of older Europeans donning yellow jackets. Like a successful French version of the Tea Party rallies; which doesn’t bode well for us in the US.

The sheer scale and depth of capitulation to the culture by self-described “Evangelicals,” coupled with frequent overt hostility of same toward the tiny remnant fighting back against worldly encroachment, serves as a horrifying indication of just how tiny the truly faithful remnant is.

What’s shocking is just how rapidly the change occurred. These same people not 15 years ago were fighting strong against gay marriage; now they’re turning over like dogs on everything.

I’m reminded of the problem with the GOP, how they capitulated because they were afraid of not being invited to the parties. I saw the same impetus among the conservative churches a decade ago. They refused to believe what the Bible taught if it offended the world. They were more scared of the world’s disapproval than God’s. And they’d kick you out of church just because you practiced a Biblical injunction that visiting unbelievers found objectionable.

There is a Biblical description of this by Christ: “cares of the world” and “loves the world” and “friendship with the world”. And the end?

You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

With the embrace of feminism and soon LBGQ+, it appears that God has turned the evangelical movement over to sin. He is truly well and done with them. After all, ‘women are their rulers’ was the result of a people who turned their back on God.

The atheist men of the manosphere are more open to the truths around us than the evangelicals.

  27. Red Pill Latecomer says:

Frank K: I don’t watch TV or go to the cinema, because it makes me feel sick.

Many old TV shows are available on YouTube for free. I enjoy the old horror and sci-fi anthologies shows from the 1960s – 1980s. I enjoy them as much for the culture they reflect as for the stories. They evoke nostalgia for my youth, and a desire to go back.

I used to attend the local Comic Con because it was fun. That is no longer the case. The panels are now all politicized to the left and the celebrity panelists spew their decadence and hatred.

I was at a sci-fi con recently, and the song and dance numbers, while referencing Star Wars and Dr. Who and such, were full of gay sexual references and innuendos.

  28. Paul says:

@Heidi The pro-life movement has succeeded in getting nearly everyone to admit that an embryo or fetus is, in fact, a human being

    See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unborn_Victims_of_Violence_Act
“The Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2004 (Public Law 108-212) is a United States law which recognizes an embryo or fetus in utero as a legal victim, if they are injured or killed during the commission of any of over 60 listed federal crimes of violence. The law defines “child in utero” as “a member of the species Homo sapiens, at any stage of development, who is carried in the womb.”

    The setback?

” the bill explicitly contained a provision excepting abortion, stating that the bill would not “be construed to permit the prosecution” “of any person for conduct relating to an abortion for which the consent of the pregnant woman, or a person authorized by law to act on her behalf”, “of any person for any medical treatment of the pregnant woman or her unborn child” or “of any woman with respect to her unborn child.””

    But it’s an important step.

    http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/policy/abortion/worldabortiontally.html

The good news is, the number of registered abortions per year is decreasing.

    http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/policy/abortion/wrjp3314.html
    1921-2015 nearly 1 billion (1,000,000,000) registered abortions

If you think men were violent throughout history, look what women have done within 100 years!

  29. Gary Eden says:

    1921-2015 nearly 1 billion (1,000,000,000) registered abortions

Single biggest holocaust in all of human history. It makes me tremble for what God has in store for us. Oh the fruits of feminism!

    @Gary Eden

”The atheist men of the manosphere are more open to the truths around us than the evangelicals.”

Perhaps they will be the true saved remnant. Whilst the apparent evangelicals aside from those who truly repented will show their true colors by departing from the faith

    1 John 2:19
”They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.”

  32. rogerrrrrr says:

I thought the game was up a few years ago when no-one stepped forward to defend the Christian bakers against the gay marriage thing. The Baby Boomer evangelicals who asserted their family values confidently in the 80s are sad, old and fat, and shrug their shoulders and turn back to the TV as the Christian America they once fought for disappears – thinning hair and thinning pews.

  33. Novaseeker says:

I just don’t get that worked up about the trans stuff. Why? It’s a bacterium on the flea on the tail of the dog, population-wise. The number of them is tiny, and even if the number of them quadruples it will still be tiny.

And, importantly, they stick in the craw of many feminists. Many feminists are now feeling the sharp end of the progressive stick, and that is more than well-deserved. It’s been a very long time coming, and it’s absolutely delicious to see it. Frankly, given the small footprint of the trans people and the outsized vexation they cause to many feminists, I just pull up a chair and get the popcorn — lots of fun to watch this go down.

Overall is it a sign of decline? Sure, but that’s nothing new. Adapt to the times and prosper.

  34. Frank K: ” I don’t watch TV or go to the cinema, because it makes me feel sick.”

Yes, me too (not #MeToo). But even more important is to isolate our children as much as possible from these toxins from Hollywood.

My children are now in their 20s, but this was an obvious problem even when they were young. We did not connect our TV to broadcast or cable. The kids watched videos (VHS tapes, back in those primitive times). Some purchased, some from the library. Mostly documentaries plus tv shows from the 1960s and 1970s.

As a side benefit, back then the fathers were shown as either normal or awesome (Dr. Quest!), not buffoons.

“Except bikers, soccer fans and skinheads.

Barbarians, Yes. Politically incorrect? Yes. Disowned by the mainstream? Absolutely. Ugly? You betcha. But they are going to win.”

The world loves its own. If the world doesn’t love you, you might be getting closer to God. If the world loves you, you have definitely abandoded God. The evangelicucks are desperate for the world’s love. God is just a word to them.

Frankly the trend described in stories like this one from today’s NYT …

I suppose that if I refuse to have a trio (or worse) as described in that story over for dinner at my house, that I’m some kind of unchristian monster.

The transformation into unrecognizable is happening at breakneck speeds.

What I foresee in these new “normalized” polyamory relationships is that one (or more) of the “husbands” will be beta bucks, doing all the financial heavy lifting, while the alpha husbands will be layabouts who get almost all the bedroom action. How the divorce courts will handle these clusterf*cks when they fall apart is anyone’s guess, but I strongly suspect that the beta bucks will get stuck footing the bill for Chad’s kids.

  41. The Question says:

Going back to the yellow vest movement, it offers a likely scenario when the U.S. economy crashes. People will endure much if their living standards remain above a certain threshold.

The reason Americans won’t take to the streets is because we have bernakified fiat and credit to prop up our imaginary living standards. The French don’t have that, and from what I’ve read most of them are barely staying afloat financially.

Americans tolerate, ignore, or put up with all this stuff like feminism because they keep telling themselves “as long as I’ve got my 401k and my big screen TV and my pick ’em truck and house in the ‘burbs, I’m ok.” To resist is to love these things, so they will yield in the culture wars.

I have a feeling this will change when it comes time to pay the Piper. Who knows how long that might be.

Vlaming, 47, who had taught at the school for almost seven years after spending more than a decade in France, told his superiors his Christian faith prevented him from using male pronouns for a student he saw as female.

People who self-identify as “Christian” are not a protected class. Unlike girls with mental problems.

  44. Novaseeker,

“are more concerning to me than some tranny winning a virtue-signal-laden “beauty” contest.”

They are all straws in the wind. Some would say a NYT article about a cuck is less important than the mass propaganda for transgenders (the Miss U contest is just one example). Others would say the NYT article is an example of mass propaganda for acceptance of cucks and fatties and sluts – which is the more serious problem.

They are all correct, and all wrong. Don’t focus on the straws. Focus on the winds that are changing our society. It is like syphilis. Chasing the many and varied symptoms is hopeless. Attack the cause.

Also, thanks for the pointer to that NYT article. I read the NYT, but I missed it. I think I’m screening out the worst of the NYT’s weirdness.

True, I suppose, but then again I don’t really get people who want to die on this hill. At least if you work in a corporate environment, you’re expected to spout bullshit party line nonsense all the time — it’s kind of a requirement. The way I see it, if some dude in a dress wants me to call him ‘Stephanie’ at work, I don’t much care. It certainly isn’t very different from the rest of the BS we’ve been expected to say, or let be said without commentary, at the office for decades. I just don’t see why people make this into their personal ‘Here I Stand’ moment, really.

You will all doubtless be curious as to the response that I received from the CEO of my former Bank – but I have not done so for although my letter to the CEO is there in draft, it has not been posted. The reason for this omission is simple: I live next door to the Bank and do not think it a good idea to fall out (further) with ones neighbours. Further: given that the Bank Manager has (in the correct legal sense) assaulted me previously and wrongly deprives me of about $50.00 from my account (which I see as a breach of section 1. of the 1968 Theft Act – “the dishonest appropriation of property belonging to another with the intention of permanently depriving that other of the same”) I do not have 100% confidence that in my close proximity to the branch of the bank that he will not resort to some form of violence or other destruction of my property. When I was young Bank Managers had as one can see from the old movies complete probity. That I should fear so for my self and my property gives an indication of the decline in standards in this last fifty years.

I must be good at falling out with people in power for apart from upsetting my now former G.P. I managed to upset (big girls blouse) the former CEO of the local council where I had merely expressed a view backed up by Biology, History and a correct interpretation of the Terrorism Act of 2006 (I suggested they were in breach, for the Suffragettes were clearly terrorists and the Council was celebrating all things Suffragist). What I did not do (although I could have) was call him out for one of his Tweets. The Tweet in question was his cheer-leading of a local performance of The Vagina (sorry Front Hole as we now must call it) Monologues. This is also another reason why there’s a huge addiction to always making the job market more competitive. When jobs are abundant and employees scarce, the employees start to make demands.

Imagine if, instead of demanding a prospective employee’s social media history, the employee starts demanding a hands-off attitude towards their outside-of-work life as a condition of employment?

Last week my friend was dragged down to a nearby former Polytech now University (one of the least prestigious in the country) for his stepson is thereat a second year student. An entire afternoon lasting four hours had been set aside so that students like him (he is on the spectrum) can bitch and whine about their plight and this even though he receives all sorts of benefits including free travel for his made up disability. My friend said the the symposium was hosted by a student whom he could not at first work out whether it was male or female but eventually settled on the notion that it was female despite the short hair and ill fitting sweater. It said that is was A-gender and thus had no sex at all (though I am sure it used and thus misused the word gender). She was to be both pitied and admired which I find a rather hard balancing act. My friend caved after ninety minutes of this nonsense, his wife after two hours. I hope my friend brought the popcorn.

When I was of student age there were very very few females, no one was ‘Gay’ and there were no men dressed in women’s attire . neither did we spend afternoons examining our navels, but it was damned hard work with no let-up.

It all puts me in mind of this which is now of course horribly politically incorrect:

Even just bringing the subject up, floating it as a trial balloon, would be enough for me to pull the trigger on the marriage. Because a wife suggesting this to a husband, just suggesting it could be a possibility, means she’s thought about it, a lot, probably has the guy picked out, and probably has already had sex with him.

The media keeps telling us that jobs are going begging for candidates. I have dipped my toe into the job market these past few years, and have discovered that employers are super picky and the interview process can take up to two months. That, and the fact that raises are rare tells me that there are plenty of candidates.

Gone are the days when the interview was a 1-2 hour affair with the hiring manager and maybe a senior individual contributor who only seemed to want to make sure you weren’t a jerk. Now they are all day affairs (or even multi day) and every interviewer seems hell bent on finding a reason why you shouldn’t be hired. Given that no candidate is perfect, the one who gets hired is simply the lucky one whose faults were not detected.

I’ve been on interview teams where a perfectly fine candidate gets shot down for trivial reasons, so we have to start over with another pool of candidates (who seem to be plentiful).

One time we shot down a candidate who failed to answer a trick question. This individual was known to one of our team who could vouch that “he gets things done”, but the failed trick question was enough to torpedo the candidate (who would have been an internal transfer). I pointed out that I valued a known recommendation over a gauntlet of trick questions, but was shot down. We never filled the position as the req was eventually cancelled.

Anyway, it seems that in my industry this has become the standard way to hire people.

Sure, but you are being forced to lie as a condition of employment. Just about this one thing, of course. For now. Remember, self-identified Christians are not a protected class. Everyone has a line they don’t want to cross, and everyone has to decide what to do about that.

The SJW’s are engaged in brainwashing by requiring people to lie. The trans thing is a very visible example. Forcing everyone to pretend that Bruce Jenner wearing a dress, injecting hormones and inviting doctors to surgically mutilate him is a “woman” is forcing everyone to lie about reality.

It reminds me of a lighter weight version of Lysenkoism.

This should not be a surprise to any serious man in the androsphere. Because t’s open hypergamy, something that Rollo has been writing about for a while now. It’s the next step in AF-BB. It’s bound to cause new problems and make existing ones worse, but “the heart wants”…

Now that the NYT has floated the trial balloon, probably there will be a Netflix movie about it in the next year or so. Perhaps with a gay and/or tranny angle.

Remember when “gay marriage” was supposed to make homosexual men and women act more like straight, middle class people? Yeah. Instead we get the Acela corridor elites acting more like polyamorous homosexuals. What could possibly go wrong?

She’s an artist, apparently, so her circle is even weirder than most’s as is. And the existence of really pathetic, spineless men doesn’t surprise me much.

I’ve seen this among people I know, from the other direction: one guy married a woman who was ~15 years his senior. Eventually it hit the point where he was eager for sex, and she just wasn’t, so she just decided to let him sleep with whoever he wanted but no ‘relationships’.

Part of the reason this happens at all is because people tolerate it among their circle of friends, without realizing the impact it has on their own relationships. [It happens with divorce.](http://www.cnn.com/2010/LIVING/06/10/divorce.contagious.gore/index.html) But the social requirement for dealing with this – having a community tight-knit enough such that a couple getting divorced would be ejected from it – spooks a lot of people.

But more than that, I care that if I refuse to celebrate his delusions, they’ll try to brand me a “hater” and destroy my life.

And even more than that, I care that this is not the last demand. There are always more demands coming. Would I next be obligated to attend tranny pride events? Pedophile pride events?

  67. S. Chan says:

This is somewhat off on a tangent, but there is a good insightful article in today’s Washington Examiner: “Kirsten Gillibrand’s worldview only makes sense if you understand how feminists think” (by Suzanne Venker). An extract from the article is below.

Any serious study of feminism reveals startling truths and commonalities among its leaders that have led them all to the same place: a hatred of men and marriage. The vast majority had highly dysfunctional upbringings, fraught with emotional abuse or neglect. Many had mothers who resented their children or their husbands … and feminists internalized this dysfunction as children.

When women like [those] grew up, they displaced their pain onto society. They concluded that their mothers weren’t to blame for their problems and decided that if society had functioned the way it’s supposed to (with men and women as “equal,” or interchangeable) their mothers would have been happy. Harboring this attitude allows feminists to resent their mothers less and hate men and society more.

In other words, once you put their lives into context, the politics that drive feminists make sense. Feminists hate … traditional gender roles, since that family structure reminds them of their past, which they associate with depression and dysfunction. Ergo, they’re on a mission to destroy traditional society and to convince everyone else that this country is bad and must be changed.

Venker is out of date. That worked for 2nd stage feminism of the 1970’s – 1990’s. Shulamith Firestone wrote Dialectic of Sex back then, a pseudo-Marxist tract that cast men as perpetual oppressors and women as perpetual victims. It’s one of the underlying premies of feminism. Firestone was bipolar, never wrote anything of any substance again, and wound up dying alone in her NYC townhouse.

The slogan then was “Feminism is the modest proposition that women are human”. I’ve seen it on college campuses. Here’s what can be seen now on select, progressive, campuses:

“Men need to be actively disadvantaged for equality to be achieved”

This pretty much describes policy towards boys in K – 12 and increasingly towards college men. The results of women raised by Boomer and X’r 2nd generation feminists. This is a declaration of cold war by the Gen Y feminists. We are now far beyond all that “equal pay” talk.

Don’t be surprised when Venker gets deplatformed by the more radical feminists for some transgression against Social Justice, either.

Sensitivity training? Oh, that’s already happened — been to many of those. It’s SOP where I work, everyone has to go. They can’t change what you think between your ears, but of course since they are your employer they can, and will, control what you actually *do* at work. If you don’t want to comply, find someplace else to work. I have no issues with that.

As for the promotions, for years this has been the case for women in the workplace, including mine, and they are 50%+ of the work force. Why am I supposed to me *more* worried about the half percent trans people who are also getting put at the head of the queue? Really, the impact is marginal. The main issue is actual biological women, and you can’t do crap about that in the workplace currently.

The only thing that is *new* about this is that it is being openly espoused. The policy approach is not new — it is what underlies the whole idea of affirmative action, quotas, set-asides and so on. It is not new. It’s just that they have a kind of hegemonic cultural power now, so they feel they can start to be very open about it now (just as we see with AF-BB hypergamy, which is nothing new, and “open” AF-BB hypergamy).

I was a child of divorce. When I came home from school, the house was empty. My mother

I saw my father on Sundays, sometimes. He would take us to car shows or to buy fish for our

books or cheerleading. He once jokingly tossed me over the side of a boat, saying, “That’s
    how you learn to swim!”

My siblings were wild, sneaking out to parties in the woods. I grew up mostly alone. I
dreamed of having a family to travel with or joke together over dinner.

While the goal of the NYT is to promote this new lifestyle, I see this woman as the result of a broken home where no one set boundaries. This story would have a different ending if there was an involved father in the house everyday.

Hence the growing divide between trans women (men in drag) and biological women. Trans women are on a higher rung of the victim ladder, thus bio-women are having to relinquish their rights: trans getting promoted over bio-women, allowing trans men into women’s bathrooms, having to walk on verbal eggshells around trans lest they get slapped with a discrimination charge, & forced to remain silent while trans making a mockery of women’s sports.

Tranny Pride events ARE Peado Pride (or rather Paedo recruitment) events. When I walked into my former Bank one sunny afternoon to see the place festooned with Xmas style streamers and other Tranny propaganda I could not have been more shocked had the place been kitted out for a Nuremberg rally. Children and adolescents enter banking halls: when I was young the tale of the Pied Piper was seen as a cautionary tale; now it seems to be a user-manual.

I was sexually ignorant until the age of thirteen; obviously, I was a deprived child who had not been given the opportunity at a much younger age to ascertain my true sexuality: boys were boys and I was a boy; girls were different (and never played Soccer).

Little Britain has some great characters; Emily Howard a highly unconvincing tranny, Ting Tong Macadangdang a Thai Ladyboy, Daffydd the self proclaimed only gay in the village (and thus self-appointed victim), Linda the college counsellor who always ends up insulting the students, Marjorie Dawes the lecturer at Fat Fighters who racially abuses the Indian woman, insults her students and is unaware of her own rotundity, Carol Beer the bored and useless Travel agent/clerk (whose phrase ‘Computer says no’ has worked its way as a standard phrase into the language, Sebastian the effete assistant to the Prime Minister (with whom he is in love), Bubbles De Vere the BBW who always ends up naked, and Vicky Pollard the self-contradicting teenage chav. I also much like Sir Noman Fry the Member of Parliament who has (on many occasions) to make a statement to the press surrounded by his family (who wish they were elsewhere) outside his country house where he explains away his latest inadvertent ‘gay’ indiscretion. Lucas and Walliams (who play all these characters) made an Amercian version from which the Youtube clip which I linked came. The voice-over is from Tom Baker (best known as Dr Who – the man who was first to marry the current Mrs Dawkins, The Honourable Lalla Ward better known in Dr Who as Romana 2) who I once saw seated at my local library living as he did, locally – actors always need to be recognised. Walliams and Lucas then went on to make Come Fly with Me which lampoons in a similar manner the airline industry but now I think on it without the Homosexual or Tranny characters and perhaps as a result not quite so funny.

  82. Paul says:

I can’t stand “Little Brittain”, especially because it chooses to push acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle and make it “normal”. Not surprising if you know Matt Lucas is a flamboyant homosexual himself. He was was in a gay “marriage” (technically a civil partnership), but became one of the first celebrity homosexual divorcees and had to pay alimony, before his ex-partner killed himself.

“The rules on civil partnership dissolution are broadly the same as those for divorce. The courts will, for example, have the power to order that one partner pays maintenance, or hands over part of their pension.”

I agree: Little Britain had the tendency to push Homosexuality as common and so it is ironic that it is now unreproducable as being Fat-phobic and Tranny-phobic and of course Xeno-phobic. I was just looking at my Mother’s diary for thirty years ago: she had listed the invitees to a party my parents were giving. With the exception of one single female all the other invitees were married couples. Of those others one woman was German but all the others were English and each couple comprised just one of each sex (in those unenlightened unprogressive days there were only two sexes). My parents must clearly be outed now as homophobic, transphobic, and racist ; labels which as it happens they would have been perfectly happy with although they would have said Patriotic rather than Racist – or perhaps there simply were no Homosexuals, Trannies or Negroes at least certainly not in the numbers a visitor from the planet Xargon might conclude were the Xargonist’s knowledge of Great Britain to be limited to Little Britain.

Little Britain (as opposed to Great Britain) is in fact the name of a street in the City of London just up from St Paul’s.

  87. Kevin says:

The left correctly guessed that 8 hours a day in government schools would outweigh a few hours with a working mom and a few hours at church. They took over the colleges, government schools, and some broader culture institutions and each successive generation is more godless, socialist, and accepting of transgressive behaviors. In Europe and the US we should fight until the end but it’s over. Nothing will reverse our situation for awhile. But societies have spiritual rebirths so there is hope – it’s just the law codifiying the wickedness that will really be a problem.

  88. Uncle Squid says:

As a Christian who identifies with neither the Left nor the Right, I’m not sure how to feel about this. Naturally I disrespect capitulation, especially to the Left. But Why on Earth have so many Christians aligned themselves to the Right to begin with? Why should I care what happens to the Right? Why should I be sympathetic to Christians who have been led astray by the false dilemma between the Left and the Right? Have God’s Elect been so led astray?

  89. ChristianCool says:

It was not capitulation; it was an overwhelming victory of The Left. And whenever Conservatives have a chance to actually DO something to stop the destructions of our country and its culture, we are stopped by Beta cucks like Paul Ryan, with the most obvious case being the Border Wall and immigration reduction.

Think about this: Conservatives lost virtually every single culture battle in America since the 1960s: gay marriage, abortion, end of prayer in public schools, legalization of weed, legalizing of assisted suicide, large-scale open border immigration, removal of 10 Commandments from public buildings, alcoholism and bead behaviors amongst women are acceptable and celebrated with louds “you go gurrrrllll”, “Christian” gay ministries, Boy Scouts went gay, marriages can be unilaterally ended via divorce, children are legally stolen from Dads, insane criminal and divorce laws, gay couples bankrupt florists, artists, cake shops, etc etc.

Right now, we are barely keeping up to have 1st Amendment Free Speech still be protected and be able to say “Merry Christmas”. If it were not for tough legal groups like ADF (Alliance Defending Freedom), churches would be required to hire gay Imams already.

In reality, by the time Christians had access to forums like this to openly debate these issues on a large scale, the cancer of Leftist SJW “progressive” policies had already taken hold. The left controls almost all media, news, movies, Internet companies, almost all of primary and higher education, the Judiciary (State and Federal levels – something I have seen first hand), and virtually all the new channels of modern communication (such as social media, search engines, Tweeter, etc).

The other problem is that all “new money” is being made in tech, something the left heavily dominates. The fortunes of today are not being made in oil, mining, manufacturing, and other “traditional ways”. These new mega-fortunes are being made by leftist “child billionaires” like FB’s Mark Suckerberg and other “tech titans” of Silicon Valley and San Francisco. Or they are made by creating monopolies by evil geniuses like Jeff Bezos of Amazon, who used the Chinese model of “losing money to kill all competition then make a fortune” model he has successfully pulled.
But even worse, these child billionaires were raised in hard left educational environments dominated by SJW teachers from day 1 and made easy money in tech, so to them everyone should make easy money that way. They are now using their radical leftist political ideology to change public opinion (I will explain in a moment). That is when they are not openly changing online search results to favor the left and suppress and completely conceal opposing (Conservative) points of view.

One of the most blatant example of how we lost the culture war is female behavior, and specifically in the area of alcoholism. As Dalrock has widely discussed, The West raises feral females and chivalrous males.

For example, one issue virtually no one ever even wants to talk about (or even acknowledge as a problem) is widespread alcoholism amongst American WOMEN. I know men get the rap for alcoholism in America, but that is because the data comes from surveys and self-reporting of alcoholism is almost non-existent among women. I personally knew several women with severe alcohol problems from work and even church and none of them even realized they were raging alcoholics, even when my late wife used to ask them if they were OK and later see if they needed rehab (which they did), but said “I do not have an alcohol problem at all!”. 🙄

Alcoholism is so common with American women that these women themselves do not even think they are alcoholics. And no one seems to even notice. It is socially acceptable and shown so much in the media that it has become normalized. Ask women who drink alcohol 7 nights a week, but “only one or two small glasses of wine with dinner to take out the edge” and ask if they are alcoholics and they will deny it on the spot.

Alcoholism among women has been normalized by media same way they did with weed; they show it on every movie, TV show, and media, so that it comes subconsciously “not a big deal”. Movies like Cheech and Chong, music videos from rappers, comedians openly joke on TV about weed abuse, even former Ayatollah Obummer admitted and joked about his drug-dealing and weed use. The weed thing became so common, they changed the perception of an entire country. This is how they changed perception of weed among the population – they make fun of weed smoking and treat it as if it was a cigarette.

For the last 50 years, this has ramped up in ways that Conservatives were both unprepared and often unaware of. The leftist media mega-conglomerates did and are still doing this with TV ads with gay couples, beta males, and feminism to the point almost every ad out there shows gay couples, even for a few seconds. This affects our subconscious. The media strategy was one key part of how gay marriage became so widely acceptable, and of course, we cannot discount how leftist educational brainwashing played its role as well. Then once the Supreme Court legalized it, everyone just capitulated and accepted it.

But back to my point: how we lost the war on alcoholism and other bad behaviors on our women, since alcoholism is such a terrible thing.

One example that comes to mind is my goddaughter’s fav TV shows like Big Bang Theory where Penny is shown drinking alcohol in almost every episode, her alcoholism is seen as normal and “no big deal”, and Penny gets other more mild girls in show to drink much more and act out (mainly the nerdy Amy). Anyway….

Earlier this year, this very nice (yet bored and a bit of a busybody) front desk older lady at a law firm I work with sometimes wanted to “introduce me to this “young lawyer” she knew. She knows of my marital status (I was asked during my 2nd visit to the firm) and because we both work in legal field and I am going to law school, she thought we would be “perfect for each other” type thing.

I obviously said “no”, because I KNOW how Female lawyers are. They are always trying to prove themselves (even when at the top of a law firm), they are insanely argumentative and annoying, and they are vindictive Leftist types. So I stay away.

The front desk lady must have been a car salesperson in her previous life, because she insisted. Finally one day right before my 10am with my supervising attorney, this lawyer lady just happened to be there at the lobby talking to the older lady, even though she works on upper level of building, all the way in the back. 🙄 Clearly, older lady set this up. -_-

Because I was put on the spot and because I do some work for this firm (I contract work case review and client update and I do 95% of the work offsite, which is currently great for me) so I never met this lady in person and do not interact with anyone outside the attorney and his legal secretary I work for. I did not want to cause a problem (never start problems with front desk person or a female lawyer, because they will go around saying horrible crap about you and eventually, you will have your work contract terminated, even if you work offsite most of the time as I do). So we chatted for a few minutes, I had to do the obligatory charm thing, clearly she is not my type (I already had seen her pic profile at their website and read that she went to Univ California and then Brown, so you KNOW she is almost certainly a Marxist). Knowing the field I work in (legal) I did not want this to escalate, since she is is way too old for me (42 and I coming up on 37 next year), her hair is too short, etc. And the only reason I would even consider an LTR or marriage these days would be for procreation and although she can have kid(s) at 42, who would want a leftist lawyer for a mom anyway. 🙄

Anyway, after I had my quick meeting with my supervisor and took the files and left. I agreed to meet Ms. Aggressive Lawyer (you go gurrrrlllllllllll!) for a quick lunch out of concern not to create a scene, so we met at 11am in this place nearby I like (very nice area).

She had 3 (three) Margaritas on the rocks, 2 before food even came out and one during lunch. 😮 I had water… it is not even NOON yet and I do not drink any booze, ever so she was sitting there as if this was no big deal chugging down these huge glasses as if she was a marathon runner grabbing a cold Gatorade at the finish line. During lunch I said she was awesome, etc etc but explained there was some confusion by front desk receptionist lady because I was actually gay, just very discreet because of my “awful parents”, which set her off in a rampage of her hate for Trump/America/The supposed Patriarchy/Christianity/conservatives/etc and (told ya she was a Leftist, like 85%+ of lawyers). BTW, she assumed they were Christian and Conservative, because, of course, these are the bad guys and girls in America anyway, so she just assumed. -_-

I know I should have said I was gay from the get-go when this all began (my defensive card if I am ever falsely accused of sexual harassment), but would have been “pretentious” of me to assume we were meeting on a date and Ms. Aggressive Lawyer could “be offended”, perish forbid. So I had to play my “gay card”, which she seemed very skeptical at first, but I told her how much I loved her hairpin and my boyfriend knows how much I like Japanese decos and her pin is just same style. By Margarita #3, she would have believed I was Houdini anyway. She DROVE back after lunch and I went home to look at files and work.

*SIGH*….. My point being: this woman is a total alcoholic, but I doubt she even thinks so. She is doing the standard feminist routine, she thought nothing of order 3 ‘Ritas before noon and drive back to work. If she was pulled over, I assure you she would have told cop she was stressed and having a bad period and would keep her law license anyway in court (no conviction, no punishment that would dis-BAR her). Women live without consequences in America today… I think we all know that.

If you do not believe my point about widespread alcoholism among women, just keep and eye out for women and booze next time you are watching TV or a movie. Also check the InstaGram or FB pages of any girl you happen to know under age of 45, guaranteed she has countless pics at parties and drinking booze heavily. You may actually glance over and not even notice it in pics and media, because alcoholism is so common among our women, it is “background noise” to your eyes.

So… no we did not capitulate in the culture war. We simply lost it. I will honestly not be surprised when post-birth child infanticide, prostitution, and legalized male beatings by females get all legalized and are celebrated live on CNN and the Democratic National Convention.

  90. Paul says:

    @CC

Do you think it is OK to lie? Especially about being gay? And you complain US Christianity has lost the culture war?

  91. ChristianCool says:

    @Paul

So you tell the truth 100% of the time? If you say you do, then you just lied.

This is called SURVIVAL. The future king David, when he was a fugitive from King Saul, not only usurped the throne, but also went into a huge civil war in Israel where tens of thousands died. He lied many many times to survive… and yet he was called “God’s friend”.

David lied and pretended to be insane to save himself:

“David took these words to heart and greatly feared Achish king of Gath. So he disguised his sanity before them, and acted insanely in their hands, and scribbled on the doors of the gate, and let his saliva run down into his beard. Then Achish said to his servants, “Behold, you see the man behaving as a madman. Why do you bring him to me?”
    1 Samuel 21:12-14

Clearly you know NOTHING of the legal field. Sometimes you need to lie to survive. Trust me, if you are ever faced in court proceedings against you, be it family court or criminal court, you will see the system is SO RIGGED against you in unfair ways you cannot even fathom, that you will do WHATEVER IT TAKES to save your skin from that unfair, rigged nightmare.

  92. ChristianCool says:

In this life, you sometimes have to tell a lie, because the system is so rigged against you, that you have no other way out. As Pilate correctly asked “what is truth?” when you are dealing with such legal and life or death matters.

Let me go further…. why do you think The Apostle Paul said he does what he does not want to do and does not do what he wants to do? To quote it exactly:

“I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.” Romans 7:15

He further states: “Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. What a wretched man I am! ” Romans 7:21-24

Let’s say you are falsely accused of sexual harassment. It never ever happened. The ONLY defense you have is the “gay card”, if you are smart enough not to hit on any female co-workers, talk about your personal life, or post pics with any woman on social media.

Saying “I did not do it” = being fired immediately “for cause” (no UI benefits for you, even though you are the victim here) and having that job reference become a poison pill for you. Your work life will be crippled for decades. Or you can say you are closeted gay and get out of it.

The same happens with a cop. Do you admit to a street cop that you were speeding when pulled over? Or that you took an extra bottle of water during your shift (theft) when only 1 per shift is allowed? 🙄

I never hit on females at work, do not have any social media presence, and never ever talk about my persona life at work, so I have that exit ramp whenever I need. That is called understanding the legal system and just how incredibly rigged and unfair it is.

I hear people say “the criminal defendant has all the rights.”. When I hear this I just laugh because I was once this ignorant about criminal law too. In THEORY the criminal has “all the rights”, but in REALITY, the Prosecutor holds 99% of the cards in that game. And they abuse their power regularly. I have seen this happen time and time again. The defendants have all the theoretical rights, but in practice, the defendant has zero power and almost no ability to seek relief after being charged with a crime, even a false criminal accusation.

I think the reason some people here are absolutists about things like this is because they do not understand how the system works in this country. When Trump said “the system is rigged against you”, TENS OF MILLIONS of Americans applauded and rallied to him. WHY do you think that is?? It is not just divorce court that is rigged; it is the whole criminal justice, labor law, and HR systems.

Did you know David also stole Temple Bread (theft/desecration of holy temple)?

“Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungered, and they that were with him; how he entered into the house of God, and did eat the showbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?” (Matt. 12:3-4)

The systems in this country are all rigged against you, brother. It is a matter of survival, maybe not being killed while a fugitive, but being ruined financially for decades. Like fugitive David had to do in order to become king someday. Survival.

  93. Paul says:

@CC So you tell the truth 100% of the time? If you say you do, then you just lied.

Of course I do keep some of my opinions to myself, but I do not lie, or else I repent before God.

  94. Paul says:

“But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.”

“The same happens with a cop. Do you admit to a street cop that you were speeding when pulled over?”

A poor example for your case. A couple months ago, I admitted I ran a red light in California and the cop let me off with a warning. Police are more likely to let you off when you’re honest than when you play dumb or lawyer up simply because it’s such a relief to find a guy who doesn’t play word games.

Sometimes I get ticketed anyway but who’s to blame for that? Me for doing it or the cop for noticing?

Ditto with false accusations. You speak the truth of your innocence and then you don’t give an inch. They’ll only fire you if they were going to anyway because they know the door is left open for a lawsuit, you being punished for what can’t be proven. They usually push you to quit instead.

“Or that you took an extra bottle of water during your shift (theft) when only 1 per shift is allowed?”

Your company has a stupid policy. Hydration prevents dehydration which prevents medical expenses. Good for the company. That’s the rationale behind David and the temple bread. He didn’t take the bread to desecrate the altar or because he was above the law, it’s because what he did was legitimately in God’s best interests.

Hopefully you can convince your superiors of the importance of abundant water. Failing that, if you get dehydrated then take a second bottle and tell them why if asked. Don’t claim to be trans-hydro.

“As a Christian who identifies with neither the Left nor the Right, I’m not sure how to feel about this.”

Don’t sweat the Left/Right divide, it’s obsolete. The new divide is between nationalism and globalism.

  96. ChristianCool says:

So, to the oh-so-holiest amongst us, who never ever ever lie… 🙄 😀

So you never ever lie, even in very minor ways, to avoid hurting people you love when:

…asked by a woman if she is fat when she clearly is?
…asked by a woman if she looks tubby/big in certain clothes when she does?
…asked by their boss if you like him/her (when you hate them) to their face?
…you accidentally almost knock down a person in a store and you say “sorry I did not see you” when you must have seen them a few moments before (unless you are blind)?
    …asked by a friend if
…asked by a co-worker/supervisor/boss if you voted for ___ candidate and you lie to prevent being fired of creating animosity at work?
…asked by a relative if she/he upset you during holiday dinner/event, when all you want to do is avoid escalation into an annoying discussion/hurt feelings/bad holiday?
…asked by your wife about something she asked you to do/not do and you lie to avoid having to have another one of these irritating 20 minute pointless arguments?

Again, I do not believe you people who claim NEVER to lie. I am calling you out on your sin, just as you called me out.

Ever heard of Cephas, also known as The Apostle Peter? You know, this dude that lived and walked with Jesus Christ day in and day out for years, witnessing miracle after miracle and then becoming the leader of the Early Church?

Did you know he LIED to save his skin by denying Jesus 3 times over, and yet Jesus knew he would and that was OK, because by lying Peter escaped arrest and possible death and went on to save millions and change the world? Did you know he lied to the Jews and Paul had to confront him to his face about his hypocrisy and lying when he was around the Gentiles?

There is something in life called the greater purpose in life. Peter may very well have been arrested and killed that day when he lied and got away during Jesus Kangaroo court and yet he went on to change the world and lead The Early Church. We will never know, but just as we saw with the future King David, there is a greater purpose in life and sometimes you do what you do not want to do in order to go on and do something important and useful with our lives.

    Bottom line:

Anyone who says he/she does NOT lie these types are the greatest liars of them all. I know someone like this, my dad, who claims he never lies and how much he hate liars… except when he has to do “little business-related lies” dealing with clients. 🙄 I know this type of self-righteous hypocrisy very well.

This type of hubris claiming you never ever ever lie is the type that gets people not to admit their own sins and truly repent.

“If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:8-9)

That is so adorable! 🙂 ” You speak the truth of your innocence and then you don’t give an inch”.

    LOL

You CLEARLY know NOTHING about the situation in modern workplace and clearly know even less about litigation and how the court system works.

First, if you live in a “right to work State”, you can be fired anytime, for any reason.

Second…. Sue after being fired for “sexual harassment”? lol How much money do you have to invest in a retainer for a lawyer to pursue that case, which will almost be a loser if you are in a leftist area (i.e. whole States of MA, CA, NJ, NY, etc)? The average retainer a lawyer will charge you UP FRONT to even touch this type of “unlawful termination” case is $10,000 with an “evergreen provision” where you have to keep retainer account “re-filled” before it his $3,500. Then you have to pre-pay all case expenses up front (that is court reporting for all depositions of all parties in the firm, transcripts, expert witnesses, trial costs, filing fees, etc). We are talking MINIMUM another $10 grand in expenses.

There is no “free lawyer”, that is only a very crappy Public Pretender “lawyer” if you are accused of a crime and is deemed “indigent” by the Court. And these Public Pretender lawyers will only get you to plead guilty to some lesser crime(s) you are not guilty of because they have hundreds of cases, are inexperienced lawyers fresh outta college, and they have to dispose of cases (and you) fast.

Third, once you are fired for sexual harassment, that will be part of your work file with that company forever. You worked there 10 years? Good luck leaving that out of your “past experience” in your Resume. Good luck getting hired anywhere else after being fired for sexual harassment. Many companies have special insurance for “harassment claims” and they have a provision that company will NOT hired people who have been previously accused of sexual harassment before.

You will be ruined. Go ahead and “hold the line” on a false allegation of “sexual harassment” against a woman and see how HR is gonna treat you. LOL 🙄

I am absolutely stunned how little Americans understand their own country’s legalistic, bureaucratic, UNFAIR, and litigious system we have here. It is as if they have a Perry Mason/Kill a Mockingbird/TV lawyer shows’ fantasy of how this thing really works in real life.

  98. Paul says:

@ChristianCool : Again, I do not believe you people who claim NEVER to lie. I am calling you out on your sin, just as you called me out.

If you agree lying is a sin, why do you promote to keep on sinning?

  99. ChristianCool says:

    @Paul

    “What is truth?” John 18:38.

Is lying a sin to keep yourself alive in war or at a time of great peril, for instance? The Apostle Peter (John 18) and King David (while on the run) both lied over and over to save their own lives. Future king David murdered and betrayed many to survive and achieve his kingship.

Ultimately, one went to become the “rock of the Early Church” and one went on to set the stage for the construction of The Temple and unite Israel as a single country. But their lives were spared by lying.

Is it a sin to lie to Chinese police authorities to save fellow brothers/sisters of an underground Christian church? Telling the truth about your knowledge of the location of an underground Christian church will ensure all fellow Christians are arrested and/or killed.

Do you not see the greater good in a much bigger plan instead of the bureaucratic/legalistic view of life and Christianity as a whole? 🙄

God is the ULTIMATE JUDGE….. He can see the sin vs not sin from all sides. He is not bound by bureaucratic legalism like you or a human judge that looks narrowly at a situation. God sees all circumstances in every situation.

If you do not see see this, then my friend, I cannot help you. Not even God can help you if you are that narrow-minded about this. Think about this…. in this world, you will do what you do not want to and not do what you want to (Romans 7:15-20). if you plan to advance your life and greater purposes of Christ, you have to survive the unfairness of this world and move on ahead.

  100. Satan is the father of lies, if you choose to lie, even if it’s to ‘advance the Kingdom’ you are doing his work, and not Christ’s.
