She’s number one!

As I have noted previously, feminism is the assertion that men are evil and naturally want to harm women, followed by pleas to men to solve all of women’s problems.

Feminism is also about the desire to be first, to be the woman who blazes the trail for other women.  Feminists set out to attain a goal so that they can show other women that they too can attain the goal, so that still other women will know that they can attain the goal as well.  This is a never ending process;  it has to continue forever, as feminism is all about empowering women to break barriers.

Obviously the need to continue the claim of breaking barriers requires that the definition of what is pioneering be stretched to ridiculous proportions.  Fortunately feminists are quite comfortable accepting the ridiculous as trail blazing, and have been from the very beginning.  In June of 1928 Amelia Earhart attained her status of feminist trailblazer by being the first female passenger on a transatlantic flight.  This made her the feminist equivalent of Charles Lindbergh, earning her the nicknames of “Lady Lindy” and “Queen of the Air”.

We still see this today.  In 2012 Anne Marie Slaughter wrote about the obstacles she faced as the “first woman director of policy planning at the State Department”.  While she was in fact the first woman with that specific job title, she reported to a female Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.  Secretary Clinton was herself a pioneer, as she was only the third woman to serve as Secretary of State.  This made Secretary Clinton the first woman to be the third female U.S. Secretary of State.

More recently a pregnant hooker came up with a brilliant way to advertise her professional services, by declaring on her brothel’s blog that she too was blazing the trail for other women (emphasis mine).

…if society already looks down on me for being a working girl (even though legal), you can imagine what they will probably think of a pregnant working girl! Even other working girls sometimes look down on pregnant working girls. But I’ve never been one to let myself be intimidated by what others thought! It actually never occurred to me that I would stop working at the Bunny Ranch while I was pregnant…

I want to make a statement that supports the right of a woman to choose…to work as a prostitute while pregnant! I mean, for so many of you that know me, would you expect anything else? I am after all, 1000% open-minded, completely non-judgmental. And, if I can make it any easier for the next working girl to make the choice to work while expecting, then more power to her!

The combination of feminist empowerment and sexual debauchery succeeded in getting her global tabloid exposure, as articles soon followed from Metro, Daily Mail, and NY Post.

But feminist empowerment isn’t just for the tabloids.  This weekend Lily Cohen posted a guest blog for Scientific American about her trailblazing experience as a woman peeing in the woods during winter.  Salon saw the trailblazing article and republished it as:  “Long live the patriarchy”: One more barrier faced by women in science.  Cohen recounts how she bravely and repeatedly peed her pants, preparing the way for other women (emphasis mine):

Last week I peed all over myself in the name of studying climate change in Alaska. Gender barriers in science don’t always take an obvious form, and they get especially perilous in below-zero temperatures. Some of these involve individual’s malice or misogyny, but there is another set of barriers that simply result from being a woman in a male dominated field. If we continue ignoring those additional challenges by striving for equality instead of equity, the barriers will persist.

I wish I could explain to my male colleagues the combined feelings of failure and humiliation that accompany walking bowlegged in soggy bottoms back into my house. Pee dripped off the ends my pajamas and onto the rug where people stomp their boots.

…I’m guessing the men I work with do not have a pair of pants they designate as “the pair of pants I wear when I am going to pee all over myself.”

Cohen decided to do something about this problem, so that other women won’t leave a trail of pee when they follow in her footsteps.  Carrying forward the great feminist tradition of Amelia Earhart, Cohen knows that the best way to navigate the path to feminist empowerment is to be carried in the strong protective arms of men.  While Cohen wasn’t able to master the ability to pee in the woods, she could do something better.  She could nag men to fix the problem for her, and this is exactly what her Scientific American post did:

Starting at my two bosses and going up the chain of command that ends in the President of the University, every position is held by a white male. I firmly believe in the good intentions of each of those individuals, but I am not surprised when policies and practices are inequitable or missing perspectives.

Lily Cohen is a Research Professional at the University of Alaska Fairbanks where she studies snow, permafrost and long term weather patterns. She also writes policies and creates opportunities for conversations about making field research a safer and more inclusive working environment.

I have no doubt that Cohen’s expectations will be met, and the goal of the article will be successful.  Surely Chancellor Dana Thomas and the other men of the evil patriarchy will do whatever it takes to solve her problem.  This way Cohen (and the women who follow her, and the women who follow them, etc) can get back to living the dream of breaking the barrier and triumphantly becoming one of the guys, as the appropriately placed beer advertisement in the Salon article depicts:

This is a great line. Laws, policies and regulations will force this concept to expand until the math no longer supports a proper feminist story of epic overcoming. An article, book or documentary about the first woman to be the 500th female CEO will lose its heroic flavor.

you know, if Lily Cohen had basic seamstress skills, she could make her own damn bibs without spending $500.

but that would take, you know, actual talent.

She could. Even easier would be to buy a man’s bib and modify it as desired. If she didn’t wand to do the cutting and stitching, she could pay someone else to make the modification. But I don’t think her idea of a trap door on the bib would help. Men have to squat to relieve themselves in the woods at times as well, and there is a reason you don’t see this feature in men’s bibs. Bibs are worn over other clothing, specifically underwear and pants. She could get union suit long johns with a trap door, but that would still leave the problem of pants. You can’t really drop trou with your bib on, especially with the suspenders attached.

The thing is, she lives in Alaska and is in the research field. She has access to a whole network of women who have already done what she wants to do, and can tell her what is practical. She touches on that (poorly) in the article. But she doesn’t like the practical solutions from women who have been there and done that. She wants a big strong man to save her, and she knows how to make it happen.

Or, how about just purchasing one of the various pee sticks (Fenis) that some envious feminists created so women could pee standing up?

How many times would a man piss on the closed lid of a toilet seat, before he simply raised it to pee?

Christ almighty, it’s like dealing with children.

Oh, and, dishonestly.

They will also re-write history to suit their need for “first!”. They’ll even ignore history as ancient as last year to make the case that they are breaking non-existent barriers. The last decade has seen enthusiastic reports of women breaking into a man’s field, every year for a decade, like clockwork.

This article just demonstrates, graphically, how feminism is a contagious mental illness. Unlike kuru or Creuzfeldt-Jakob or Transmissable Spongiform Encephalopathy, it has no agent. It jus has an idea, and that idea sucks.

There is a sign in Hawaii’s aeronautical museum that says, “Amelia Earhart crashed here” or something to that effect. Says it all.

The only thing I can say to Anne-Marie Slaughter is what women say to me after I solve their problems for them – “Well, duh”. She can’t even blame her husband for the strife of her 14 y.o son, since she says he “did everything possible to help” her career. And talking to Hanna Rosin – who previously entered the Hall of Shame for encouraging women’s College Hook-Ups and telling the world that “the age of men is over” in a TED talk – just earns contempt. You can’t switch sides when the sewerage starts swirling under your nose, babe.

Hilary Clinton might be the third Secretary of State, preceded by Madeleine “It was worth it” Albright and Condolezza “Hopelessly Devoted to You [Bush]” Rice. All 3 of them are going to burn in hell as genocidal maniacs.

Summer Solomon, the “trailblazing” pregnant hooker, isn’t trailblazing at all. Many working girls continue when they’re pregnant – because they don’t have a husband to support them, and Solomon is no different. Solomon apparently doesn’t know that a pregnant prostitute is a gronk, and gronk sex is the lowest on the totem pole of the sex industry, in an industry that has a lot of bottom of the barrel acts in it.

As for Cohen: How is the patriarchy responsible for her peeing in her pants? She’s telling the world, “I’m incompetent and men are to blame!”

Wait a minute. That’s the de facto message of feminism, isn’t it?

I have to respectfully disagree with your analysis here. Feminism is not about “being the first” for the sake of being the first. “Being the first” is about the group being able to forever own every successive female accomplishment in that category. It’s a means of proactively reinforcing the group identity, manipulating expectations, gaining power, and telling women that they can’t do anything on their own without feminism. It’s insidious, and it’s evil.

She sees her urine (number one) as her full identity (and has ensured that the Internet sees it that way).

She IS ‘number one’. She really is!

Unfortunately, fembeasts love doing perverted things with ‘number two’ as well. A number of them love depositing feces anywhere other than a toilet (since civilization is oppressive to women and all).

The joke part is that a woman can quite easily pee standing with a little training (well, men have to learn to do that when they´re small, so there´s no misogyny there). The feminist dilemma though: they would have to wear a skirt and not pants to properly do that. My grandmother told me they used to do that daily when they worked the fields. Just gather the skirt properly, stand the right way and there you go, girl, pee power!
Also the Inuit women had to do it somehow when they lived in igloos, I gather an old lady would teach her how to pee in snow. With a little training she might even learn how to sign her name in the snow.

I am not sure whether I should vote for her seeing that I approve of getting an equal number of men and women doing dirty jobs, living rough, die-ing at work etc or vote otherwise. If women were really equal to men then it would be as obvious as the fact that it frequently rains and would thus not be worth mentioning. If it is the case that ninety-nine years after women were granted political emancipation that they are still not the equal of men then the only rational conclusion must be that they are not by nature equal and cannot no matter how hard they try achieve the kind of equality they seek that is to say all the things most men cannot achieve (wealth, fame, status) without men providing them with these things by way of affirmative action – Dalrock’s pumping operation – or by youth beauty and chastity where they can achieve effortlessly their own natural level. Feminism is for women needing to retake their examinations.

Do wild women pee in the forest?

Why is this a new thing? My wife was accompanying me on backpacking trips into the Colorado Rockies in 1974. When it was time, she relieved herself just as women have been doing since the first couple was kicked out of the garden. How many women have done the same thing on treks across the Llano Estacado, while working in rice paddies, or climbing a hillside?

Good grief, will the whining never end? If the problem is the extreme cold, a trip to Frederick’s of Hollywood to buy a crotchless pair or two of undies might help. Does Frederick’s make anything flannel? How have previous women in similar circumstances dealt with the problem?

Maybe, just maybe, there are anatomical barriers to some activities. I’ll never be a defensive lineman in football or a marathon runner, but I never went on a rant about it in a national publication.

Being a modern American Jewish woman and a feminist, Cohen is almost certainly an aetheist, or, at best, an agnostic. Her Jewishness is an ethnic trait to exploit, not a religion.

    i’m aware of that.

but that’s just one more level of stupid. the Kohanim / Cohen are the priestly caste of Judaism.

that’s the reason why i made sure to echo her LAST name, to highlight that.

so she’s gone apostate from the very family responsible for holding the Jews at large responsible to God.

and the Old Testament / Jewish Bible is replete with what? stories about the Jews going apostate and rejecting God? and then God smashing the Jews for their apostasy?

At the time, I was in a terrible relationship with a man who told me he wanted to be with me, but he could never love me. It was because of those words that I first clung to the idea of motherhood. Maybe a man could deny me love, but he would never deny me a child.

    She was unhaaapy…

My life was great on paper. I had done all the right things. I went to Stanford for graduate school. I worked at the White House under Condoleezza Rice. I had the opportunity to travel the world. I had loving parents and two wonderful sisters.
And yet I felt unloved — even unlovable. And also greatly conflicted.

…even though following the standard YouGoGrrl path with extra Moxie!

So off to IVF land. Except she has to have a sperm donor. Being a conservative, Christian girl, of course she chose….

I know this must sound incredibly superficial. But, let’s be frank, it’s impossible to gauge true intellect or a kind heart by virtue of an online donor search.
And so I began my search with a focus on the physical attributes that I have always been attracted to — namely height and athleticism. Six-foot-2 and toned was my baseline.

Isn’t that rather, well, girly and not at all the deep thinking woman of serious seriousness?

The donor was a collegiate lacrosse athlete. I was able to see three pictures, from tot to teen, of an adorable boy with an incredible smile, unruly hair and a twinkle in his eyes. (This particular bank did not allow adult pictures of the donor for legal reasons. So, at the end of the day, the attraction part of my search was also a gamble.)

    1. Selfish

    4. Entitled
    5. Utterly lacking in self-awareness
    6. Grotesquely, delusionally inflated sense of her own MMV/SMV

    8. Sees children as nothing more than sometimes-useful props for her fantasy world
    9. Coddled
    10. Pseudo-Christian to the point of being a walking self-parody

She really is the standard bearer for many of the causes explored in this blog, including woman as her own Beta Bucks provisioner, as well as Rent-an-Alpha. She has come within two sperm cells of doing away with men completely. The men that built a society so soft and comfortable that it can easily support the type of woman in feeriker’s top ten list.

  93. Just Saying says:

men are evil and naturally want to harm women

I tend to think that it is the Feminists that are out to harm women, mostly because they hate women that aren’t ugly like they generally are. So they do everything they can to devalue women. Now don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the mess they have made of society, the fact that most young women all have “daddy” complexes as they grew up never having a father, and crave older men for verification. I suspect that most of the young women that come to my bed do so for that reason, and the others do so as they have bought the non-sense that they have to “sample what is out there”.

I’m grateful for the hated that Feminists have for women, as it’s made it so that a man can enjoy “sweet young things” all of his life. All a man has to do is be a man – unlike the pansies that are called “men” today. I learned long ago, opposing a the tide is stupidity – the wise man finds ways to make it work for him. Now I’ll admit that I treat women much much worse today than I ever did when I was younger, but they keep coming back for more. Is that my fault? All they have to do is stop rewarding poor behavior, yet I never lack for female company.

So guys – never listen to what a woman says, look at the actions she rewards by spreading her legs. That, more than anything someone is selling, will show you what actions are rewarded. So don’t listen to me – look for yourself, and enjoy. You’re not going to change things – but you can enjoy them…

  94. feeriker says:

The stupidest thing that we as men ever did. The “good” news (for lack of a better adjective for it) is that the wealth that has for so long enabled this nonsense is rapidly drying up and that society is rapidly becoming anything but “soft” and “comfortable.” The darker side of me is actually looking forward to the correction coming to full fruition.

  95. Novaseeker says:

For me, the main takeaway of the Sarah Lenti story is this: there really are almost no educated/career women who are actually not feminist, even if they say they are “Christian conservatives”, like Lenti does. When push comes to shove, on the sexual/reproduction issues, most conservative Christian women who are educated/career women become more or less complete ferminists in terms of using the tools that feminism and the sexual revolution gave them to have complete control over their reproduction.

Here you have a woman who was a close adviser to Mitt Romney and a colleague of Condi Rice — hard to have more “establishment conservative” bona fides than that, really — who, when the chips were down, chose IVF, selected a sperm donor on the basis of height and athleticism, and bashes men for her own fickle romantic life over the span 20+ years. If Sarah Lenti can do this, *any* self-styled “Christian conservative” woman can. It’s time that guys wake up and realize that it doesn’t matter if she says, or even acts, like she is a “Christian conservative” — most of the time, if she feels she needs to, she will use the feminism-provided tools (abortion, IV, no-fault divorce with cash and prizes) and then come up with every justification under the sun why doing so was right, and is consistent with being a “Christian conservative” woman.

As a footnote, I also agree with AR in that it’s basically confirmation of the AF/BB, yet again (as if we needed more confirmation). Lenti is her own BB. When she was selecting a donor, she specifically was looking for AF genes, and she basically said so — she didn’t care about the intellectual side of things, but focused instead on pure AF. As we would expect in a situation where a woman is her own BB. I suspect that this is also what Lenti did when she was getting dumped by actual real world men, which likely has a lot to do with her lack of success in finding a marriageable man, as well as her clear bitterness toward men that comes out at the end of the piece. Tsk, tsk.

And let’s be honest here. Most of those same women are having premarital sex. They are using the same tools feminists and the sex rev gave them to have sex with very attractive men, with or without “commitment”. Despite clear biblical prohibitions on premarital sex for men and women, these women engage in the same types of premarital sex to the same extent as nonChristian women, and still call themselves conservative Christian women. And no one ever calls them on it. And anyone who does call them on it is unChristian, mean spirited, cruel, heartless, and obviously uncaring about their “plights”.

  97. feeriker says:

Exactly. To repeat what I’ve pointed out multiple times in these parts:

ALL women, even those who (usually incorrectly) do not consider themselves “feminists,” have gained huge and powerful spillover benefits from the feminist movement. These include, but are certainly not limited to:

    1. No-fault divorce

    2. Abortion on demand

    3. Affirmative Action/”Equal” Opportunity preferences in employment

    4. Financial independence (even if married, what’s his is theirs, what’s hers is hers)

    5. Sole custody of minor children in the event they decide to opt into item number 1

    6. Related to number 4, the freedom to unilaterally rack up debt while married – without their husbands’ consent (even though, under the Common Law they claim is patriarchally oppressive, their debt is considered a joint liability, leaving their husbands’ at least in part holding the bag)

    7. The franchise, enabling them to take from the national wealth while providing or sacrificing nothing in return

    8. VAWA and related local DV laws in which a woman’s mere accusation on a whim is regarded as unassailable truth, leading to the arrest of many innocent men – with no adverse consequences accrued to the woman

These and many other spillover benefits of feminism, civilizationally destructive as they are, are simply too irresistably empowering to women, no matter what their (supposed) values. For this reason, ALL women –even those who have deluded themselves into thinking of themselves as “Christian,” will fight tooth and nail to preserve these benefits.

    Yes, AWALT.

  98. Anon says:

    feeriker,

Not just that, but the majority of women can fairly be described as obsolete.

They have demonstrated countless times that the more something advances civilization, the more women are inclined to obstruct it.

In addition, women may be the scarcer reproductive resource, but now that they are just using 10-20% of their reproductive capacity (with many using zero), that is not a valid reason for over-valuation of this status.

Women have proven that they collectively have little to contribute to a knowledge-based economy. Most consume far more than they produce.

    Most women are obsolete.
