In several of my positions, it seemed that every executive above me, on every level, was of the same religion. And it wasn’t Catholic or any kind of Christian. A couple of times, I even discovered that they mistakenly believed that I belonged to their religion. Which made me wonder if that’s why they hired me.

Some years ago I was doing some contract work for a small company in the San Diego area. The guy I worked for was talking about hiring me full time (I still had a day job).

Wow. I thought the animation/drawing of the 1970s and 1980s was crummy. It’s hard to believe that this third-rate artwork was done for DISNEY. Compare the artwork here to Dumbo, Pinocchio or Bambi. I used to think that the art standards had gone downhill simply to cut down on the man hours involved in producing the animation. Now I think it’s deliberate. They don’t want to show the children anything beautiful. The colors aren’t even realistic.

The art in the 80s was horrid, but this is worse, largely because of intention. Comics look crappy in many cases too. I suspect it is just more post modern art stuff spreading, which is backed by a humanistic philosophy.
If you honestly just want to cut man hours and money on production, you get something like anime, which has used and still uses various tricks to cut down on the amount of actual animation they have to draw (at least outside of a few most lavishly financed animation films) while keeping what they do have to draw aesthetically appealing. You may also learn how to animate in Flash.
Ugliness of most of the modern American animation, and the fact that it now spreads to series where awesome images would have normally been a part of the appeal, must be intentional. Just like the fact that supposed good guys in Star vs. Forces of Evil, including Star’s own transformed alter ego, look like you expect actual Forces of Evil to look, must be intentional. (Not even touching actual plot, just speaking about the imagery.)

The style is currently popular on Cartoon Network. They’re more interested in copying the familiar than achieving quality.

Inre your link, the key word is “Presbyterian.” What would anybody associated with that know about Christianity? Or even about God, for that matter?
The Christian “God Isn’t Male” statement is just a given, to me. If He exists, he’s beyond any of these silly human attributes. Implying God is “male” entails the existence of “female” peers, for one thing. It also means that he has male drives – for sex, conquest, etc. Nothing in the text suggests that He has any peers at all. He created everything, as the story goes, not by having sex with a female God, nor in collaboration with any other Gods, but by himself.
The only thing I’m really sure of, in my reading, is that he’s a lot greater than we are, and that we shouldn’t compare him to ourselves (though we are made in his image, it’s clear we aren’t much for the sort of magic tricks he finds second nature).
Of course, looking at the bull-dyke, who larps as a Christian priest, and who is giving this message, lets me in on the context. What she’s saying is not that God is indescribable; but, that god is a larping bull-dyke, made in her image.

That’s the aptly named PC-USA, a denomination that really is dying, along with others like the Episcopal / Church of England. They let girls be preachers decades ago, and started losing members. The part of the Anglican Communion in the USA was reconstructed by none other than Benjamin Franklin, and is still almost entirely democratic. It’s owned and run by its members, in other words, who form boards and vote on how money is spent and who gives the sermon.
The Episcopal Church USA also is one of the wealthiest, tax-exempt organizations in North America. As I’ve speculated before: imagine the good work that could be done, now that these churches are so depopulated… Get a few decent families into strategic positions in an Episcopal diocese, take that mofo over, drop your masks, and go to work on the reconquista!
The main obstacle to this is the petty squabbles and bitchy fighting you Christian manosphere guys are prone to devolve into. I reckon the local revolution would probably take a couple of years, but would be very doable, if you could find just a few serious brothers who had the discipline to stick together and keep their mouths shut.
Once in control, you could burn through the money and property supporting good causes, or you could build an actual Christian congregation, with no wimminz priests, and with no gay marriages; and you’d have the resources to bankroll any legal challenges that troublemakers might start.

@Boxer: In the Episcopal Church USA, does a congregation needing a pastor advertise for one, or do they report their need to the headquarters in New York? How is it done these days in England? In either place, it seems as though matching up a compatible priest/priestess with a congregation could be very tricky, as there is no general agreement on priestesses or on whether Christ rose from the dead, etc.
As to “Turdina”, how will she be merchandised? I have granddaughters, but they won’t be receiving any Turdina merchandise from me, nor are they likely to receive any from any other relatives on either side of their family. I thought a big percentage of Disney’s profits came from licensing the images for merchandise. The characters are depressingly ugly. No little girl is going to dream of being Princess Turdina, and few are going to want Turdina’s $350 castle for Christmas. No beauty, no “cuteness” factor, either.

Basically, when Boxer was a young and idealistic communist, he found lots of support from an Episcopal Diocese in doing things like buying Ramen noodles for poor folks and such, which he and his fellow university students distributed.
The diocese is run by a board of elected directors, who basically can do whatever they want (in my experience). They are minimally accountable to a national body (in the US, not in England) which has a yearly convention. My guess is that if a group of Dalrockians had a successful revolution in a local diocese, and then hired a male, family friendly priest, and began crusading against nonsense like abortion and divorce at their church, they might be put on probation or possibly drummed out by a vote at the national plenum. There would probably be a legal fight over who owned the physical church (Dalrock’s christians ought to win that easily, but one never knows in this SJW legal climate). But ultimately, they could just rename themselves the “second episcopal church” or the “reformed episcopal church” or the “traditional anglicans” and keep going. In any event, it’d be a fun ride and very humorous to watch.
If any of you guys decide to do this, I’ll can make a solemn promise to convert to Christianity and support you financially. I’ll also promise to fly to wherever your church is (anywhere in the contiguous US) for my baptism, and to attend Easter and Christmas services. It’d be awesome to belong to any congregation which wasn’t pozzed to the hilt.

Read the stories and you’ll never see a quote from dad, who is so proud that little Janie wants to get testosterone replacement therapy at age 10, and have her vagina mutilated so that she can piss standing up.
This is really the most potent expression of hatred that a mother can show to their children: to inculcate them in the idea that they are unlovable as they are, and must undergo a series of surgeries to playact to be someone fundamentally different in order to be accepted. In a healthy society, all these young kids would immediately be placed with normal relatives, and their parents (such as they are) put into mental hospitals.

You’re making the same mistake that the feminazis are making. You think the Church worships God in order to do good. Not so. We do good in order to worship God. Yesterday we pleased God by building hospitals and wealth; today we do it by burning it all and walking away; I suppose tomorrow, we’ll do it by allowing ourselves to be fed to the lions.
God doesn’t want productive believers. He wants loyal believers. The Almighty has no interest in or need for prime real estate and megamillion bank accounts.

@Boxer — Thanks for the link. I am very surprised that the Chicago area has more priests than openings. I read an article not too long ago that stated that a very large percentage of the priesthood was rather close to the typical age of retirement, but maybe that was an article about the Anglican priesthood in England. Of course, the Roman Catholics have had a priest shortage for at least three or four decades.
The article you linked also mentioned that a priest could not be ordained unless he had a “cure of souls.” In other words, a position as a professional do-gooder at an Episcopal charity is apparently no substitute for having some sort of congregation.
I do know that the Episcopal church has had brutal fights with congregations over church buildings, in at least some cases preferring to sell the building at a discount to non-Episcopalians rather than sell for the full appraised value to former parishioners who wanted to affiliate with a more conservative branch of Anglicanism. So your idea of a Boxerian march through the Episcopal institutions might run into more difficulties than you imagine, but I would be thrilled if you pulled it off..

That, in itself, would be a victory of sorts, and I respect the people who forced such sales. It’s better that these buildings get sold to people who would appreciate them, than have them used to celebrate dyke marriages, or host abortion-clinic fundraisers.
I find the destruction of a great institution (which, until recently, contributed some of the finest art and architecture in the Anglophone world) to be utterly tragic. It ain’t gonna be me who pulls this off, though. I was born a Mormon, and I’m from Alberta, which makes me doubly ineligible to take part in the initial stages of that crusade. I’m just a sort of outsider, who is playing the John-the-Baptist part, hoping that some disaffected Episcopalians will find inspiration to reclaim what their grandparents built for them.
Historically, there are highs and lows (this is a Leninist idea). The Episcopal Church still has money and property, but is now largely depopulated (as that article illustrates). I see why they do it, even if i disagree with it. It’s how I feel about a lot of the left, they correctly identify a concern and then apply the wrong solution.
I certainly think women should chose who they marry, and marriages were more stable a few decades ago when women did have the choice. But I do believe their must be much weight given to the father’s opinion. Asking for the father’s blessing before marrying the daughter is a good tradition.
Where we went wrong is pretty much across the board, you name the forum and the examples are numerous. Culture paints the father as always liking the wrong man and disliking the right one. We shame men into marriage and then the governments give cash and prizes to women who blow up their homes. Preacher’s focus almost solely on instructing father’s to man up, be godly, etc., as if the wives in the room will magically follow.

But it doesn’t stop these scared little men at the pulpit from telling men who actually are under a real risk of legal destruction to man up.
The difference is in those movies the bad boys turn out of have a heart of gold in the end. So the princess gets her tingles and commitment to a good man too. Aladdin was a street thief but he had a Genie and a magic carpet to woo the princess’s tingles.

An overload of entertainment-based forces of evil has been introduced by a larger issue i’m having.
I’ve been married more than a decade, and my marriage is probably fairly typical, spendthift, denial of sex, etc. But things went to an extreme and I’m at a loss for how to deal.
My wife often does what I suspect a lot of wives do when they come to bed. If she sees I’m awake, she’ll immediately mention she hasn’t showered, has a headache or upset stomach, etc. One night about six months ago she came to bed being more affectionate than usual, which was usually her hint that she is interested. In the past, not picking up on this hint would offend her.
So, I made the move and she turned it down hard. Oh well, isn’t the first time. But here is the change:
The very next night, she came to bed at 3 AM, and has been coming to bed between 3 AM and 4 AM ever since, normally getting up at noon. She is constantly referring to herself as a “night owl,” and works it in to many conversations now. “I met a new friend at homeschool group, and she’s a night owl like.” Thanksgiving dinner with family… “hubby goes to bed early, but I’m just a night owl.” Phone call with a girlfriend “I’ll watch it after hubby goes to bed, I’m a night owl.”
You may have noticed the word “homeschool” above. Our two children, both under age 9, are homeschooled, and are fending for themselves until she gets up at noon or so. In fact, they often fix themselves lunch. The house is a pit, and when I get home she has the attitude that “being a mom is harder than having a job” and “we need to split the chores.” I am VERY uncomfortable with this. She hasn’t been to church since this started because she needs sleep, and you know, she’s a night owl.
What does she do for the 5 hours between when I go to bed and when she comes to bed? Facebook. Chick flicks. 50 Shades. Twilight. RomComs.
All the friends she tells that she’s a night owl back her up because I’m not her boss. Surprise surprise.
I firmly believe if it was reversed, and I was up until 3 AM on Facebook or playing video games, sleeping until noon while the kids fixed themselves lunch, and everything else, I would bet a huge amount of money she would not only NOT be okay with it, she would be telling these same friends about it who would — rather than say it’s fine — be coming up with ideas how to set me straight.
I’ve talked to her about it ad nauseum, tried to set various boundaries, etc. Nothing works. She’s gotten very comfortable converting 5 hours of mothering in the morning to 5 hours of play time every night. If it were reversed, she’d have a threatpoint, but husbands simply do not.
In fact, a friend of mine recently got divorced after his wife was out until 3 AM several nights a week, going to bars and sleeping with other men, ultimately blowing up the home and separating their four children from their father…. and the courts STILL rewarded her as if she was the victim.
Any one here have similar problems and solutions?

Early believers were in many cases not allowed to build a “church” so they met in “homes” or their camps outside the city (since many could not have jobs, or conduct business in the market, or buy property even if they had the means because of their Faith). Most had to live by “faith alone” with no “rights” or “guaranteed protections”
I am sure many were mocked like Christ was by crowds and passerby. They were shunned, and sometimes rounded up and just killed.
Yet they persevered. They found a way. They by their life, and actions end up commanding respect, growth and eventually toppling a pagan society. There were no “Bibles” yet. Most were illiterate. No day care for children. No signs and directions and greeters. No programs. Not even a church building. No tracks, no “tools” and “workshops”. No conferences. No retreats. Very true, good point. I do retract the part that he is under *no* threat, he is under a similar threat from his wife that the men in his congregation are against theirs.
On that point, however, he is more afraid of his own wife than he is of all the men in his congregation combined. Which makes his “man up” sermons telling, perhaps he should start by manning up himself.

Considering the circumstance of wanting his release from prison and then suddenly ‘remembering’ he abused her…that makes the most sense. Especially from some of her photos she’s meet some powerful influential men. It seems infidelity is the #1 reason wives suddenly change their stripes with their husband.

She may have not cheated on you yet like your friend’s ex wife…but she’s setting the stage by watching that smut. Men get blasted all the time for their porn habit, but women seem to skate under that by watching Christan Grey, Vampires, and other emotional porn. Those things are the fuel for her rebellion and if it doesn’t turn around she might get the same idea your friend’s ex wife did. I don’t know if it was the reason for the start of the sexlessness…but it’s certainly a factor.
I’m not married so I can’t give you a solution based on experience. I’d say put the foot down on the smut.
I’d also add women watching that stuff increases their chances they’ll be ‘bored’ with reality (such as like having a home with husband and kids) and become more lazy. Wasting your energy watching smut drains you in many ways…you lose licit sexual motivation (basically with your spouse) along with giving up doing housework.

Thank you for your advice, everyone. The more pressing concern at this time for me is her sleeping till noon with two children in the house with no adult supervision.
