DC McAllister swarmed by ugly feminists, fired by The Federalist.

Update:  Moderation is now off.

I’m late coming to this story and don’t have time to do a proper write up on this (I’ll be turning on moderation tonight). But see this story for an introduction and what looks like a screenshot of the tweet that started it all. I can’t find the original tweet, so I suspect she has since deleted it*.

In a nutshell:

  1. McAllister tweeted about an interaction she had with her husband while he was watching a ballgame.  Her husband has game.  She reacted to him with a quiet and gentle spirit, and brought him a beer.
  2. Ugly feminists shrieked in horror at the thought of a woman not being an ugly feminist, and accused her husband of being abusive.  One ugly feminist responded by declaring that being called woman and bringing her husband a beer was “A fate worse than death”.
  3. A gay journalist jumped in on the criticism of her and her husband (see below), and as a result of the exchange McAllister was fired.

Check out her twitter feed as well:

*Edit: This tweet from the gay journalist includes a screencap of her original tweet:

  1. I wish I had subscribed to The Federalist so I could cancel it now. Cowards.

  2. Anonymous Reader says:

Based on the information given, this merely verifies my opinion of The Federalist.

  3. thedeti says:

I dunno Dalrock. It doesn’t look to me like she was fired because ugly feminists complained at her for not being an ugly feminist. It looks like she was fired for coming full bore after the gay man with some pretty incendiary rhetoric.

    McAllister tweeted:

“I think @yashar has a crush on me. Maybe I’m making him doubt his love of penis,”

“Oh so sad. @yashar is lost. He doesn’t know his purpose as a man. He doesn’t know his purpose as a human being. He doesn’t know his purpose as an Individual. So he wallows and tries to find himself in another man’s asshole. Sad”

Everyone should know that by now, homosexuals are immune from criticism. But this went beyond criticism and into name-calling. She should have simply ignored this man. She should also have known this is the go to tactic of SJWs. They expose anything crappy that you say, doxx you, complain to your employers (even if it’s a conservative publication), and they fire you because they don’t want to appear “intolerant” and “hateful”.

So even if you really feel this way, you can’t say graphic things like this about homosexual conduct. Even if you think it’s true. Unless you are Ann Coulter. And every conservababe tweeting, posting and writing nowadays tries to model herself after Coulter. (Ann Coulter is a lawyer and conservababe writer, one of the best out there, tall, blonde, fit, attractive, has a wit so caustic its pH is around 2.3, and can rip an opponent a new rhetorical one faster than you’ll even know it happened. She is a polemic grandmaster, and few do it better. She has also been at this for more than 20 years, long enough to survive enough slings and arrows that she’s practically SJW-proof.)

McAllister, I know Ann Coulter, I’ve read her writings and seen her engage opponents. You’re no Ann Coulter.

  4. Paradoxically, Ben Shapiro and co booting her over this is the gayest thing about this whole exchange.

  5. The Question says:

I agree with Deti. She made a Pickett’s Charge attack against a protected class on ground of his choosing. He can say anything he wants about her and her husband, but he and others like him cannot be touched.

Amos 5:13 is a good verse for people to consider at this point.

  6. Also, every time I see “clap back” my eyes register it as “I have a barren womb”.

  7. thedeti says:

Also, Coulter is a country club Republican. Though she talks conservatism and is one of its most vociferous and passionate proponents, and one of modern liberalism’s most vicious attackers, she doesn’t really live the conservatism she preaches. She is not a traditional conservative and has never lived as one. She has worked her entire life. Cornell Law, clerked for a US Court of Appeals judge out of school. A clerkship for a US Court of Appeals judge is an excellent plum job, after which you can write your own ticket. It’s one of the best jobs a newly minted lawyer can get.
Only the very best or well connected students get those jobs.) She got out of practicing law, then worked for a congressional committee for a while, then got into writing. That led to the very lucrative conservative commentator/talking head gigs and a weekly syndicated column. She is the true “Strong Independent Woman”.

Coulter has been engaged several times, but has never married and has no children. She has had some high profile relationships with some famous men, including Bob Guccione Jr. (namesake of his father, the Penthouse magazine publisher), Dinesh D’Souza, and Andrew Stein, president of the New York City Council, and a liberal democrat. She favors 60s and 70s style “hippie” music.

So she very much touts conservatism; but lives very much as a moderate/liberal. In that vein she closely reflects the zeitgeist of modern conservatism: Fiscal conservatism, against the nutcase far left, but privately, having intimate personal relationships outside marriage, and flitting from one relationship to another.

Should we get you two a room, Deti?

  9. Hippopotamusdrome says:

One ugly feminist responded by declaring that being called woman and bringing her husband a beer was “A fate worse than death”.

She is Dana Schwartz, co author (with Jason Katzenstein) of The White Man’s Guide to White Male Writers of the Western Canon

  10. feministhater says:

One ugly feminist responded by declaring that being called woman and bringing her husband a beer was “A fate worse than death”.

Okay, for what it’s worth, I found this hilarious! I’m more than happy for feminists to die instead of bring their husbands a beer. Oh the humanity!

  11. thedeti says:

FemHater, what are you talking about?

  12. Cane Caldo says:

    @theDeti

Sodomites can be ugly feminists, too.

  13. 7817 says:

It’s too bad she apologized to Shapiro.

Her deleted tweet is pretty harsh rhetoric, where’s the problem though? We can’t be bowing the knee to the lavender mafia.

Conversely, the way people treated Milo on the right was better I think. He was appreciated for the good things he did, not for his degeneracy.

  14. feministhater says:

Your admiration of Ann Coulter, Deti.

  15. seventiesjason says:

A woman bringing her husband a beer doesn’t mean “he has game” it means they have a respectful relationship. He didn’t spend weeks watching podcasts on how to get his wife to do things, and be alpha.

She brought him a beer. Game had nothing to do with it. My dad when my mother was sick took care of her. My mom made my father dinner every night. It’s called being a relationship.

  16. thedeti says:

    Cane:

Sodomites can be ugly feminists, too.

Yes, but that will be lost on most people outside the sphere. And McAllister attacked him not for being an ugly feminist, but for being a sodomite, and in a quite graphic way that’s deeply offensive to pearl clutching country club Republican The Federalist readers.

  17. thedeti says:

    Jason:

Being able to say anything like “Come on wife don’t bother me right now, the game is on” to your wife indicates having some game and some frame.

In 2019 America, if your wife respects you and doesn’t treat you like total shit, you have game and frame. Being in a relationship with a woman in which you aren’t a total slave requires having some game and frame.

  18. feministhater says:

vfm should read the comments associated with the link provided by Dalrock. It will be illuminating to him on those women view men who act in the way McAllister’s husband did.

What he said is seen as abuse. You don’t have to take my word for it, go and read those comments, I dare you.

  19. thedeti says:

    FemHater:

I like Coulter mainly for her writing, her longevity, and passionate defense of constitutional conservatism. That doesn’t blind me to the fact that she very much has lived the life of a modern professional liberal woman – without the encumbrances of home, husband and family; going to the best wine and brie parties in DC and NY, hobnobbing with the political elite on both sides of the aisle (and dating some of them), and earning an extravagant living while doing it.

  20. ZJay says:

The Question “I agree with Deti. She made a Pickett’s Charge attack against a protected class on ground of his choosing. He can say anything he wants about her and her husband, but he and others like him cannot be touched.

Amos 5:13 is a good verse for people to consider at this point.”

EXACTLY had she kept quiet and let it roll off her back, like it appeared she was doing with the women commenters, this probably would have fizzled out.

Lesson for us all. IF you must use social media, do so with the utmost care and if you make a post that results in a negative backlash or a personal attack against you (or even a loved one) NEVER RESPOND, NEVER ENGAGE.

Best options are to ignore and let it burn out, or delete (never truly possible) the post/conversation, and preferably get off social media, unless its absolutely needed for your business/brand.

  21. feministhater says:

Deti, it was meant as a joke.

I don’t find her particularly attractive. Her voice isn’t feminine, it grates on my nerves..

However, I agree with you, she has not lived the life of a real conservative woman but rather one who fully partook of the freedom given to her by feminists. She is a 2nd wave feminist through and through.

  22. thedeti says:

    ZJ

It is never a good idea to discuss politics on social media. Ever. First off it’s a huge time suck. Second, if you’re any kind of public figure, whatever you say on social media will never ever go away. My firm has policies on how its employees are to conduct themselves on social media for this very reason.

  23. seventiesjason says:

Ummm…..no Deti you guys make any man who requests anything to his wife or any woman and she complies it means it is a man who has game. I asked my secretary to take notes during a meeting this morning with me. She complied. She doesn’t have to do this, she is not an executive secretary…..she had duties to fulfill at the desk. She did this for me because she actually respects the work I do. I have zero Game (she doesn’t want to get naked with me), and I have no Frame (she just wants to the property to succeed like I do). Calling this man’s behavior Game is really cheapening it to a level that even I though it could not plummet to

  24. TheWanderer says:

I think what the commenters on boredpanda are most offended about, is a woman daring to be a biblical wife. Women aren’t born that way, “someone trained her really good”

    Most wreaked of this sentiment”
“The fact that she’s sees her relationship with her husband as a “woman’s role” is the problem. Someone trained her really good do be subservient to men. Many people in these relationships have missed the point of what love is. It’s not about give and take. It’s not about his role and her role (or his role and his role.) It’s about mutual respect. There is no superiority in a relationship. There is no submissiveness.”

No submissiveness, just two strong independent wills, battling it out till society convinces the wife she is “abused”. Bunch of social engineers, or just incredibly ignorant…

  25. Lexet Blog says:

If you think any DC based institution is actually “conservative,” you haven’t worked with one or been to DC.

None of them truly support acting on the values they purportedly espouse. Those words are mere dogwhistles for fundraising, nothing else.

Ask yourself: has the right wing ever accomplished anything?

  26. Hippopotamusdrome says:

    @thedeti

coming full bore after the gay man with some pretty incendiary rhetoric

Woman tweets about a mundane, innocuous.act and is dogpiled by thousands of SJWs’ mean tweets:

    “A fate worse than death”
“dry heave so hard my stomach will come out of my mouth”
    “Stepford Wife shit”
    “made me dry heave”
    “This is like my nightmare”
    “consentual kink”
    “That’s bilious waste”
    “GROSS”

But she can’t answer in kind?

  27. Cane Caldo says:

In today’s weirdo sporting news: It was another loss for the Western Civ conference when the Sodomites left the Mi’ladies scoreless in front of literally dozens of fans.

In 2019 America, if your wife respects you and doesn’t treat you like total shit, you have game and frame. Being in a relationship with a woman in which you aren’t a total slave requires having some game and frame.

Right, and churches that don’t preach submission to the women in their churches are left with no tools to help the men preserve their families. I’m not saying the church should preach game, but Christian men can turn to it in the absence of churches preaching the truth in this area. It’s an individually applied bandage for the corporate disease of feminism.

Jason just because you can’t see or accept the existence of xrays doesn’t mean they don’t exist. They don’t need your acknowledgement or understanding, just as Game exists whether any of us likes or utilizes it. It is an observable phenomenon.

  29. feministhater says:

Ask yourself: has the right wing ever accomplished anything?

Once you realise that the conservatives of today are merely the liberals of yesterday, you begin to see that they’re only interested in ‘conserving’ the freedoms they were given when they were younger and not real conservatism.

In twenty years, Conservatism will be protecting the right of gays and lesbians to get married as a cornerstone of American Constitutionalism and decrying heterosexual relationships as abnormal.

  30. thedeti says:

    Hippo:

She can answer the ugly feminists.

She CANNOT, however, make graphic, gross references to sodomy. THAT is why she got fired and THAT is what got so many people up in arms.

Country club Republicans, Shapiro, Domenech, etc.: They just want everyone to like them. And they can’t have their writers popping off on social media about homosexual men’s penises or men having anal sex with each other. Plus, everyone knows if some conservative writer says things like this, the SJW blogswarm will devour them like piranhas.

Country club Republicans don’t care about what homosexual men do with each other. They know (kind of) what homosexual men do with each other. What offends them is when some third rate writer actually describes in a derogatory, intentionally offensive way, what homosexual men do with each other. And they don’t want people knowing that, way deep down, they kind of sort of agree with McAllister, but don’t have the guts to put their lives and careers on the line to say it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if McAllister has to move herself and her family to an undisclosed location until all this blows over.

  31. 7817 says:

Calling this man’s behavior Game is really cheapening it to a level that even I though it could not plummet to

Keep sobbing and bawling, surely it will get you respect this time.

  32. Warthog says:

DC McCallister’s tactical error was that she misread the rules. The PC rulz state that women may viciously humiliate men in public debate, and if the man calls foul, it only proves he is a whiner.

However, she apparently did not read the fine print, which says, “Unless the woman is tradcon, and the man is LGBT, in which case, he is higher on the victim totem pole than she is.”

  33. Cloudbuster says:

So bottom line, the Federalist is enemy territory now, I guess.

  34. JR says:

My wife refuses to vote unless I go with her and tell her exactly what and who to vote for, item by item, standing next to her. I did NOT initiate this, she did. After 20+ years t=of the same voting precint, most already knew the routine, and everyone was ok with it. Then in 2016 a woman in the adjacent stall decided to question what we were doing. My wife’s response was such that the police was almost called. I understand that to even suggest ethnic characteristics makes one a racist these days, but my wife nd I are both Cuban born and raised naturalized Americans. My wife is 4’11” and the smaller the pepper the hotter it is. I totally understand the woman blowing up. A truly submissive wife is often fierce in her determination to remain submissive not to all men, but to her one husband. I am thoroughly blessed by having at my side a wife who DEMANDS that she be allowed to demonstrate obedience to me publicly. In an extreme and wrong way, it is often Islamic women who demand sharia. This is truly inconceivable to modern churchianity and feminists (same thing).I have 3 daughters, all are the same as their mother in this. They have seen our relationship and want it. My son is MGTOW, and I cannot blame him. Other than my daughters I know of no truly submissive young unmarried Christian woman, not one, not even close.

  35. Cane Caldo says:

    @thedeti

She CANNOT, however, make graphic, gross references to sodomy. THAT is why she got fired and THAT is what got so many people up in arms.

That is exactly right. There are no good words for bad behavior, and she broke the CONSERVATIVE rules against making sodomy sound like a bad behavior.

  36. Warthog says:

Come to think of it, we could kind of see this as a win. A conservative woman thought she was entitled to humiliate a man’s penis in public because he was rude to her. Remember that the way a woman debates is by using ad hominem to make you feel bad, because whoever feels bad loses in woman-logic-land. The fact that he was a total degenerate doesn’t change the fact that it was highly unbecoming of a Christian woman to make below the belt shot like that on a man. That is not something that a Christian woman does. So, yeah, I’ll join the SJWs in throwing rotten eggs at her on this one.

  37. Anon says:

Once you realise that the conservatives of today are merely the liberals of yesterday, you begin to see that they’re only interested in ‘conserving’ the freedoms they were given when they were younger and not real conservatism.

It is even worse than that. Their entire reason for being is to go through a song and dance about token resistance, with the full intention of caving to the left. It is an ideology addicted to being a perpetual loser.

Why would anyone want to associate with that?

It is the job of leftists to create new problems. It is the job of cuckservatives to prevent those problems from being fixed.

  38. Dalrock says:

    @Warthog

Come to think of it, we could kind of see this as a win.

So, yeah, I’ll join the SJWs in throwing rotten eggs at her on this one.

Conservatives the world over agree with you.

  39. thedeti says:

    Cane:

The conservative rules against making sodomy sound like bad behavior are there because today’s flavor of “conservatives” don’t want to make waves, lose their jobs, or have a hundred SJWs picketing their houses. They don’t want local camera crews on their front lawns demanding comment. They don’t want their kids terrorized everywhere they go.

They don’t want to have to go on a Michael Richards-style apology tour, after which you apologize, and despite your abject groveling, everyone still hates you and wants you to die a thousand painful deaths, and your career is still in tatters.

But mostly, conservatives just want liberals to like them. They want to get invited onto the talk shows and to the hippest wine and brie parties.

And conservatives don’t want to think about behavior that privately grosses them out but they know they can’t say that because of all that stuff up there. They know about that behavior. They know it goes on. They just don’t want to think about it, because that would require confronting people about it. And confronting people about it, and sin, is hard. It makes people not like you. It makes people stop tithing. It makes people stop coming to your church. It leads to ostracism and virtual gulags and unemployability and an inability to make a living.

  40. Some interesting posts about this, if you want to follow-up.

Culture War: DC McAllister and Yashar Ali

Follow-up: The Mob, the Internet, and the Culture War.

Jon Del Arroz (leading hispanic in sci-fi): Another Right Wing Scalp Is Claimed…

All interesting. But at best, just tactics. Wars are won by strategy, about which none of these people have a clue. They’re all talking defense.

The question is not How Feminist Must We All Be? It’s about the unword, thoughtcrime: patriarchy. Nobody defends it. He told his wife not to talk to him during the game. She (unasked) brought him a beer. Chateau Heartist probably would say that is the best relationship. I agree. It’s game, the good kind. The only other alternative these days is a whip and chair.

Of course. I have made this point for years.

She is a New York City lawyer chick who never married and has no children.

She has center-right ideology, but more than that, she knows how to be an actress to cater to a certain (cuckservative and White Trashionalist) audience. She makes money from them.

She is not a leftist, since a leftist is incapable of pretending to be a non-leftist. But she is a center-right socially liberal person, who plays a certain theatrical role to sell to a particular audience of beta/omega males.

  44. Darwinian Arminian says:

She got fired for this? Utterly pathetic. I used to listen to The Federalist’s podcast and I remember that they’d always close each episode by saying, “Be lovers of freedom, and anxious for the fray,” as a sort of institutional tagline. Now they’ll have to amend that to: Unless you’re feeling free to advocate for any of the principles that we claimed to support, and ended up in a fight that we never really wanted to have in the first place.

What a joke. But no one should expect anything better from a “conservative” publication whose head honcho thought that it’d be a good idea to marry this:

Ben Domenech, you sure know how to pick ’em.

  45. Figures the journalist who got her fired is a paperwork american.

  46. The Question says:

The problem with “conservatives” or anyone center-right is they continue to engage in platforms that are controlled and maintained by the enemy expecting fair treatment. They’re like parents who get outraged when their 12 year old daughter is taught by her school to put condoms on cucumbers or teach sexual degeneracy to their son, but won’t pull the kid out and yet expect the school to reflect their values.

I hear this all the time from people within my social circle who whine about this and that, and my question is always the same: What are you going to do about it?

The answer is usually, well, no answer or response at all.

  47. Oscar says:

It’s even better than that. Ali is both gay, and a son of Iranian immigrants.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yashar_Ali

That gives him double protection from criticism. I don’t know if he is, or was raised Muslim. He attended Holy Cross High School, so he may have been raised Christian. Had he been raised Muslim, he’d have triple protection from criticism. The only way he could upgrade his armor would be to declare himself “trans”.

  50. I thought her responses to that gay journalist were vulgar and unhinged, totally unbecoming a serious public figure. I don’t blame The Federalist for dumping her. But if she is such a believer in traditional marriage, what does she need a career for anyway?

Race Trashionalists make everything worse by misdirecting blame and justice.

Yeah, you can home school the kids, but it won’t be long before the left bans homeschooling, on the grounds that it’s abusive or something. Meanwhile cuckservatives will shrug and fall back, while murmuring that the loyal opposition has a point about banning homeschooling.

Even worse, they can’t create their own alternative media. Other than a few outlets (that are cuckservative anyway), the other 90% of the media is left-wing.

What stops these morons from creating their own media network of equal power? They believe that they represent American ingenuity and spirit, don’t they? Apparently, they can’t even create a counter-media, despite their inflated belief in their own ‘exceptionalism’.

  55. Novaseeker says:

McAllister’s mistake was forgetting that the fight about gay stuff (rights, acceptance, marriage) is done and dusted … the traditionalist side got smoked, period. Rolled. SSM is also now *popular* (majorities support it in virtually every state .. something like 45+ of the states), and of course we know how the polling looks on that by age. The issue is over, and the critics lost.

So given that the issue has been lost, it is not permitted to say things like she did — even to say things milder like ‘yes that pseudo-marriage you’re in…’ or something like that is a no-go. You certainly can’t openly talk about actual sodomy. No-one will put up with that. That is a fact of life, it is a part of the new social order. You can say whatever you like, but some things will incur a substantial social penalty if said publicly, and that can include losing your livelihood, and yes conservatives will do that to you as well for the very same reason … it’s no longer accepted discourse on a set of issues that is now basically decided, socially.

I agree with deti that the country club republican element is a part of this as well … people who may still be personally critical of homosexuality (although just as many of them personally aren’t and have personal friends who are gay) but who are uncomfortable with that being expressed publicly. It just isn’t accepted discourse because the issue is decided now culturally. It would be like openl[y expressing attitudes against miscegenation. Sure, you can do it, but you can also bet there would be major ramifications on your livelihood if you did publicly, because that issue is now socially and culturally decided (okay to be against privately or to avoid personally, not ok to speak against publicly — pretty much same as with gays now).

  56. Warthog says:

@Dalrock “Conservatives the world over agree with you.”

Yes, but for an entirely different reason. The betacucks are upset she was mean to a degenerate homo in public, and said things they are unwilling to say.

I would say the issue is that even though she was 100% right, it is not the place of a woman to attack a man’s penis (or anything else) in public. Though, by attacking her first, he did invite it.

I mean, in the Bible if a woman grabs a man’s member to save her husband from an assailant, she gets her hand cut off. A man’s member is sacred. Woman cannot touch it except in adoration.

Now, we all know trans women are not in fact women, that they are biologically men who regard themselves as women. And in private life, I have no problem treating trans women as women if they look and dress female and take on a female name. But it is completely unjust to have them compete against born females in sports. They are not in fact women; they consider themselves women despite the facts.

Prager admits that trannies are men, but thinks we should treat them as women “in private life” (whatever that means).

Actually, his “compromise” is impossible in a Leftist world. The Left says there are no male or female names, or ways of dressing, or looks. Men, women, trannies can all wear lipstick, or be named Buffalo Bill, or wear high heels or combat boots. So Prager can’t hold trannies to a “female dress” code because none exists.

  58. In terms of finding creative ways to lose your livelihood and put more burden on your husband, getting into a Twitter spat with SJW commenters is probably one of the dumbest things ever.

McAllister lost her composure and self-control, and then got played like a fiddle by these douchebags.

    That’s dumb.

The problem goes far deeper than “what we’redoing wrong.” We just can’t seem to win no matter what: inexplicable defeats; an enemy with boundless power, reach, resources, and energy who always seems to win, and good old fashioned treachery. The Almighty has put evil on an extremely long leash.

This isn’t a win. Because McAllister stupidly attacked a gay man on an issue that has already been litigated and lost, the SJWs and conservatives ganged up on her and destroyed her. Not only is this not a win, they both ate her lunch and then some. In my view McAllister should have known better than to say gross and offensive things about gay men, penises and anuses, particularly in today’s zeitgeist where the “gay question” has already been decided in favor of liberals, moderates and SJWs.

Her tonedeafness on today’s zeitgeist about gay stuff is why she lost her job. Not because ugly feminists lost their marbles over McAllister’s deference to her husband while he was watching a sports event on TV. Hell, even 30 years ago when I was a young adult and long, long before Obergefell, you just did not, in any way, in polite company talk about gay sex. Everyone knows there are gay men. Everyone knows they have sex with each other. Everyone knows, in the vaguest of terms, what kinds of sex they have together. If you’re so inclined you can watch videos of gay porn to see for yourself what they do.

That said, no one, not even the most virulent conservative critics of homosexuals, talked in graphic terms about that sex, what they do, and how they do it. And you certainly did not ever attack someone with it. Because even people on your own side will be horrified at it. Not that people do it; but that you’re talking about it and criticizing others for doing it.

To me, that’s what this whole kerfuffle is about.

  63. Badman says:

Deti is right, and Dalrock’s analysis is a bit misleading—the graphic attack on the homosexual was the catalyst for her firing, not the non-feminist original tweet.

But I was scared we lost Deti for a moment with his gushing praise of Ann Coulter. Ann Coulter is not our friend—she is a nasty, aggressive career woman who has shunned the role of a gentle-spirited wife and mother. We may agree with her from time to time, and she can be somewhat useful as our enemy’s enemy, but she is an anti-role model for today’s girls.

Deti assuaged my fears with his subsequent spot-on comments about this situation. As Tucker Carlson said the other day, conservatives will do anything to not be unpopular, and in this instance we see that this includes tacitly accepting homosexuality.

  64. 7817 says:

Do you guys realize we have to start taking care of the people on our side? At the very least don’t abandon someone just because they get attacked, or blame them because “it’s their fault.”

At minimum, anyone who cares about other Christians or even just other people who love America has to have their back enough to not publicly disown them at the drop of a hat. Thereafter they’re sent to virtual gulags where they are deemed unemployable, deprived of the ability to earn a living, treated as personally and professionally radioactive, ostracized, isolated, and reduced to pariah status.

When you call out sin, this is what happens to you. When you call wrong behavior wrong, this is what happens to you.

When you even so much as confront a woman on her sins against her husband, this is what happens to you. The women band together and leave the church, deprive it of volunteer time and tithe money, and bankrupt it. They shriek and scream to church leadership about the mean evil men who called this sweet little woman names. They shriek and scream to local media. They write social media posts and some of them go viral.

Articles about the posts show up on msn.com and online news media outlets. “Local woman refuses tip to rude waitress; leaves long screed of advice, waitress outraged, used credit card info to identify local woman and report her to her employer for being so mean.” “Local man won’t date transwoman, says not attracted, causes firestorm in the burbs.” “Local congregation refuses communion to divorced woman/pro-abortion state rep, uproar ensues.” “Outspoken conservative county clerk/justice of the peace says gays are going to hell; recall election scheduled.”

It’s so UNFAIR. They’re so MEAN. They must be destroyed.

I think you’re missing the point of Deti’s and others analysis. It isn’t that they don’t support her, it’s that they’re pointing out she wasn’t fired because feminists got angry and bitter about her being a proper wife and mother but rather because she spoke badly of a gay man, more especially of gay sex itself and in tones that were upsetting to their fragile ears.

They’re not defending her firing. They’re pointing out the underlying reason.

She did the right thing. Wrong time and place, perhaps. Foolhardy, perhaps. But the the right thing.

Yes, the gay battle was lost. But if we’re ever to roll back the cultural Left, we’ll eventually have to re-fight battles that were lost in previous years. And that will require martyrs.

When she spoke out, others who think that way suddenly realized, “Hey, I’m not alone.” And when she was fired, it further exposed fake conservativism. So she’s a martyr, however inadvertent.

  71. thedeti says:

Dalrock has described this phenomenon previously. It is conservatives and feminists banding together to exploit and destroy men. Conservatives hold men down while feminists rip from those men their wallets, checkbooks, watches, rings and anything else they have of any value. “We’ll hold them down while you rob them!”

What happened here is something of a variation on that. Feminists attack; and country club conservatives held McAllister down while feminists kicked and punched her.

Of course her first mistake apart from tweeting anything was rubbing the noses of members of her own sex in the fact that she had a successful marriage and by implication that they did not. Then she forgot the correct pecking order of the nouveaux aristocracy of pre-designated victims. This is what happens when a country eschews the natural order and abolishes all distinctions of class – a new aristocracy arises.

I have always found that should – say – one invite a young woman to ones home, that one only has to turn ones back for a minute, or pop out for a loaf of bread to discover on ones return that the said woman will be found cleaning, tidying and cooking. They never ask permission and if left longer will attempt the ironing too and of course one has no sane objection. Why is it that so many American women seem to be in a race-to-the-bottom to demonstrate that any form of natural feeling or marital happiness is a form of moral turpitude akin to murder or sexual abuse of a minor?

The Post said it did not know about his plagiarism when the newspaper hired him.

Jim Brady, the-then executive editor of Washingtonpost.com, said he would have fired Domenech had he not first offered to quit, because the allegations of plagiarism made it necessary to “sever the relationship.”

You cannot bluntly describe what goes on between gay couples in today’s society. Because so many heterosexuals are repulsed by the actual acts, they have made it verboten to describe them. Out of sight, out of mind.

We’re headed down the same road with pedophilia. Eventually they will come a softer name for it (just as they did with gay for homosexual), and then ban anyone that describes the actual act.

  85. Novaseeker says:

You cannot bluntly describe what goes on between gay couples in today’s society. Because so many heterosexuals are repulsed by the actual acts, they have made it verboten to describe them. Out of sight, out of mind.

Maybe in part, but it’s part of a broader context where you don’t talk about anyone else’s private sex acts, period. It just isn’t done, one way or the other, and it isn’t new. It’s not like 20 years ago, before gay marriage and acceptance was on the social radar, people were openly joking with people they knew who were gay about gay sex acts. It’s just under the rubric of the private which is generally socially verboten to discuss, regardless of whether someone is straight or gay (yes, people did make jokes privately, and they still do, but that’s different from saying it publicly to the person involved). I don’t think it has much to do with virtue signaling, as something that just goes against the basic rules of social communication that have been in place for some time, even when it comes to gay people.

What has changed is that you can’t criticize gay marriage publicly, which is now seen to be the same as criticizing interracial marriage publicly. You can’t do it. You can believe what you want, and practice what you want, but you can’t talk about it publicly. That’s new when it comes to gay marriage, but not attacking gay people publicly to their faces about their sex acts isn’t a new prohibition, and it long predates the whole Gay, Inc. thing we have been dealing with for the past 20 years or so now.

Privileged groups get to talk about private sex acts of unprivileged groups. So gays and women get to talk about whitemales in all manner of derogatory fashions, beginning with “basement-dwelling-loser-who-masturbates-to-porn”. That is because gays and women are oppressed so they get to punch up at the whitemales who oppress them. Never mind that women in North America are the most privileged entities since the 18th century French aristocracy of the Ancien Regime’, such facts don’t mean anything to feelze. Homosexuals have become nearly holy objects, even among younger Evangelicals, so…no criticism can be acceptable. If the Log Cabin Republicans are still around, I’m sure Federalist heard from them over this horrid, dreadful vulgarity.

However, gays are more oppressed than women, so a woman making remarks to a homosexual man about his sexual acts is crimespeak, because she’s punching down in the oppressor / oppressed paradigm.

Mancur Olson has some great books on the topic although he didn’t push it to its logical conclusion, but the short version is that the money and power gained from controlling the US government, literally trillions of dollars per year, is far greater than the amount of money needed to maintain this control via the media and DOJ. Ergo, it has in fact happened.

Dalrock, why do you often do this thing where you turn on moderation? Do you worry that the comment section will become so vile and out of control without an everpresent watchful eye to swiftly remove inflammatory remarks? Dare I say, people may even express misogynist thoughts! I highly respect your approach to free speech and open discussion that the comments section seems to allow more than 99% of the time, so I am somewhat baffled by the occasional bouts of disabling discussion.

If I’m on the road or off in the woods I don’t want to have to think about it and/or check in. So I park it. I don’t do a lot of intrusive moderation, but you may have noticed that the more time that passes the more likely a discussion is to get out of hand. I’ve found that a new post or two works wonders in bringing things back under control when that happens.

You may be right. Then again, maybe it’s much simpler. Ann Coulter is an immature Beltway Elitist, a 50-something feminist who never grew up. (She’s still trying to look 25.) This explains her series of silly, ghormless relationships.

Feminists are basically adolescents. Adolescents like to shock people. Leftists paint their hair purple and shriek demonically. The Ann Coulter type likes to spread gloom and despair with a healthy dollop of proud snobbery.

  109. BillyS says:

But she can’t answer in kind?

This is one of the reasons we lost the culture war. Christians and others with similar views accepted the idea that they shouldn’t “force their ideas on others” and that they needed to always be nice.

How many Christian leaders complain about Donald Trump’s tweets, for example? I have yet to read one I disagreed with or found truly outside proper lines, yet so many Christians are convinced that we must be nice. They don’t mind losing repeatedly as long as they are nice.

  110. BillyS says:

    Frank,

Too many “conservative” and/or “christian” parents serve their children up to the State in the form of the local government school. They may not like trends, but “their school” is fine, they usually say. Many also honestly believe that partisan leftist teachers can do a better job training their children than they can.

Many wonder why children turn out the way they do when they are regularly offered up to Baal.

    ====

I do personally find Ann Coulter attractive (physically) though I would not go anywhere close to a relationship with her. Though she illustrates part of the problem. No women can advocate for good causes without devoting her life to it. Someone being a good wife and mother would not have the time to do that. She would also probably be too sweet and mild, letting progressives continue their march to push evil.

We are headed for a mess.

Mcallister did not use rhetoric properly, and not on the right target, under the umbrella of a cuckservative organization. Nothing unexpected here. The last egregious action that cannot be forgiven is apologizing. Stick a fork in her.

That’s the first habit that any Christian man should break in the current era. Never, ever, apologize for an idea or writing, especially if its public. Clearly, Amazon would be worth 25% less than it is now, without Mackenzie’s efforts, whatever they were.

    https://www.recode.net/2019/4/4/18295576/mackenzie-bezos-jeff-bezos-divorce-wealth-billionaire-women

MacKenzie Bezos will be one of the world’s most interesting billionaires.

The now ex-wife of the richest person in the world will oversee more than $35 billion in assets as she finalizes her divorce from her husband. And while this makes her the world’s third-wealthiest woman, she’s possibly leaving money on the table: MacKenzie Bezos said Thursday that she would only take about 25 percent of their shares in Amazon as part of the arrangement, and is ceding any claim to equity in the Washington Post, owned by the family, and Blue Origin, the space exploration company founded by Bezos.

Good work, if you can find it.

The next year another Jemmate girl married the ancestor of a friend of mine the very person who had sent me the copy from the register. There were just four weddings at the church in 1711.

My friend then sent me a copy of a further parish record from 1755 /1756 – the time of (y)our Indian wars when so many brave British lads lost their lives for you ungrateful colonists and when Ben Franklin was living and working as a printer in London as printer. My great *4 grandfather John [Opus] was a witness at no less than three weddings two of which took place on a Sunday and the last one on a Monday. The last wedding was also witnessed by John ‘s Father referred to above but unlike his son he could only make his mark. Schooling of any sort was not compulsory in England until 1841 and so I suppose that William was sufficiently prosperous or aspirational to ensure that his children could both read and write.

There is no warp drive so getting anywhere takes a long time, and relativity keeps the ship’s crews young for decades. In one chapter, the hero returns to Earth after a very long absence to find out that everyone is now homosexual and he is considered a pervert and that everyone is grown in artificial wombs.

Anyway, I could see that by the time the current generation of babies, who will have been raised on a steady diet of drag queen reading hours, non stop pro homo programming on TV and in the cinema, will be lecturing their progressive but hetero parents on the fact that they are completely screwed up.

    “Unwilling to make financial sacrifices.”

The last 50 years in a nutshell. What’s not amusing is that after the costs of the second parent are factored in it’s not a winning proposition for 80% of the population. Homemaking and homeschooling are far more profitable jobs for wives than working outside the home, both financially, culturally, and spiritually.

Don’t go to the elders and tell them it’s their responsibility to discipline your wife into submission. It isn’t.”

There you have it. Any rebellion on the wife’s part is NONE of the responsibility of the elders and does NOT fall under Church discipline.

This only confirms the observations of many others: Church leadership refuses to discipline persistently sinning women who rebel against their husbands.

  157. Frank K says:

Homemaking and homeschooling are far more profitable jobs for wives than working outside the home, both financially, culturally, and spiritually.

There is another economic factor regarding 2 income households, namely that we now live a layoff economy, where a layoff can come out of nowhere. Having 1 income vs 0 incomes (OK, you might get a whopping $500 a week of unemployment) might make a difference while looking for a new job. Having been in the zero income category myself once when I was shown the door with no warning, I can understand. In my case I found a new job quickly but I know of men (usually over 40) who couldn’t find another comparable job for over a year. Some threw in the towel and tried to sell real estate or insurance.

Another thing I have observed with many couples is that the wifey has a mediocre paying job at some level of .gov, but she also gets health insurance for the family, while self employed tradesman hubby has none.

Of course, if women were not flooding the workforce, there might be fewer layoffs. It is a sorry situation. Most of my peers marvel that we are single income and I constantly hear “how do you manage to get by?”. Of course, I don’t drive a $50K car like they do.

  158. Frank K says:

The problem with always keeping quite is that it reinforces the false position that only degeneracy is common.

Especially since it’s portrayed that way EVERYWHERE now. In TV commercials (Heineken had a revolting Thanksgiving TV ad), TV, movies, everywhere.

Some of you probably heard of the movie “Roma”, shown on Netflix recently. It is supposed to portray the life of a typical middle class family in 1970 in Mexico City’s Roma neighborhood. I don’t need to tell you that everyone was portrayed as deviant, adulterous or sinister. The movie’s overt message is “See, it’s ALWAYS been like this, and don’t believe your grandma when she tells you it wasn’t like that back then, because it was.”

And it wasn’t like that back then. Today, sadly, girls in Mexico also ride the carousel. That was social suicide back then, and if a girl wasn’t a virgin that was a tightly guarded secret.

  159. vfm7916 says:

    @Frank K

Yes, those risks and mitigating them fall under “financial sacrifices”. The risk exists; just as there are risks with marriage and women. Life is risk.

Those without hope cannot face risk, won’t get married, and won’t have kids. Marriage, kids, and fruit trees (lookin at you, Larry), require hope for the future.

How many men who drag up all the risks and bad things that can happen to you with marriage and children have any hope for the future? Very few; they’re demoralized, beaten, and many times both even before anything bad happens. Think that’s attractive to women? Care to think why a woman would make a demoralized and beaten man her first mate, her head? I can’t, really.

    It’s all about hope.

Have any of you written anything to compare with Adios, America? No, you haven’t. Are any of you out there defending America as tirelessly and publicly as she does, day in and day out? No, you are not. If you don’t like Coulter out there fulfilling a masculine role, then step the hell up.

No one cares. Go whiteknight somewhere else. She wasn’t a feminine woman, she didn’t have children, she didn’t get married and she is a second wave feminist. She is not above criticism, no matter your hard on for her. America’s death is on her hands as well as the countless millions of women who aborted their children or never had any to begin with because they were far too busy with their ‘careers’. Whatever she is fighting for, her own lifestyle killed it… society cannot survive feminist women.

Precisely. She is a feminist degenerate like the rest of them, she just likes lower taxes, smaller government and other libertarian priorities. She deserves the same fate as the rest of them.

Living in 1980’s Northern Upstate New York, you could not get by on a single income unless: hubby was a doctor, engineer, or had some professional job and made the commute to Albany or Montreal over the border. Paper mills gone, lumbering was seasonal part time and very selective and sporadic. Tourism was the mainstay….and was summers. My father was a Union carpenter (who was out of work many winters growing up) and mom was a nurse who made the two hour drive south to Albany to work at the Veterans Hospital. Never had luxury cars growing up either. A new Plymouth or Dodge was in the driveway every five years or so…….and dad’s Dodge truck was usually run hard for a solid ten years

But again…it’s so easy to be a one income household. Simple.

That article is very amusing, although unintentionally so. The title alone made me laugh out loud, because it portrayed the destruction of women’s college sports as if it would be a bad thing…

I’ve raised my daughter to be a self-confident, empowered young woman.

Who thanks to Title IX and other artifacts of feminism created over the last 50 years has a huge advantage over any mere male human. But that doesn’t count to Daddy, because his little darling can be outrun by boys pretending to be girls. “Not Fair!” he shrieks, inadvertently exceeding the maximal daily recommended dose of irony.

That’s a good way for a snowflake bitch to get herself maimed or killed, if that’s her objective, especially by nagging blue-collar guys like construction workers when they’re BEING PRODUCTIVE (something this entitled harpy has never done).

The ugliness cannot go on. Eventually, it must self destruct. I find it hard to believe that all this feminist/homo/weirdo garbage has lasted this long.

When Christianity as a whole (all major religions) has become so corrupted that it no longer even cares about souls, just earthly things like so-called “social justice,” and spends its time ranting unreasonably strict “holier than thou” nastiness at the pews, while being SJW-permissive in reality, the Almighty must, eventually, do something.

How subtle–or drastic–it will be, and when, remains to be seen. But we must be approaching a monumental denouement. Surely He must be growing tired of Christian “leaders” ignoring decent people who truly want to live right, in favor of pimping out the bride of Christ.

Once again, there is a STAGGERINGLY FRENZIED AND MASSIVE construction boom going on in Hell right now to prepare for the influx of unanticipated residents who currently believe they’re bound for Heaven.

I’ve been pondering recently how both Heaven and Hell might be described in visual terms that the feeble human mind (compared to God’s incomprehensible power and works) can grasp. I think that Hell will resemble an endless, teeming, fetid slum (imagine the worst of Calcutta, Cairo, and the Favelas of Rio all rolled into one) with no room to even turn around and constant temperatures averaging 200 degrees Celsius.

Heaven, on the other hand, will resemble Siberia or the Yukon Territory, but with much nicer climate. That is, it will consist of vast swaths of uninhabited territory, punctuated by small clusters of inhabited space (another way to picture it is the geographical continental United States having a population no larger than that of Wyoming).

If trends continue, that’s what both places will look like, as conceived by the limited human mind.

So God would create billions upon billions of creatures in His own image and likeness…knowing that almost all are going to Hell? Doesn’t strike me as the actions a merciful and loving Deity.

Two-thirds of the angels remained faithful. Angels, it is said, are in awe of men because men are imperfect and fragile, but are tested and tormented ceaselessly, whereas angels with their perfect reason and understanding were only tempted once–a simple choice for those who didn’t fall prey to pride.

Speaking of pride, thinking that almost no one is going to Heaven can easily lead to this sin: “I wonder what miniscule group of sinners will join me.” It is said that people will be surprised by whom they find in Heaven–and even more by whom they don’t.

God allowed evil into the world. He didn’t have to permit the serpent to tempt Eve, but He did. Humans, made by Him, are imperfect — I’m guessing He is inclined more toward mercy than sending almost all of creation to the pit.

This thread on Twitter captures what’s going on pretty well. I know people don’t like evo psych, and that’s fine, but he describes how men are now trapped into Game, or dysgenic alpha behaviour, in order for a man to reproduce.

    It’s not pretty.

    https://mobile.twitter.com/0x49fa98/status/1115278977751375872?p=v

Very few can be alpha, but that never ending competition is the only option men have if they want to reproduce.

The church should be helping here, but many of them are pushing this even harder than the world.

  177. 7817 says:

    An excerpt from the thread:

In our stable and stably entropic women’s world, we can only find sexual success by embodying women’s esoteric desire. World star is to humans what David Attenborough is to the bird of paradise. Acts of petty aggression are male sexual displays

Many of the things you call “alpha” are also dysgenic. If women think something is “toxic masculinity” you can bet two things: it’s dyscivic and it turns them on. There are eucivic alpha traits but they are expensive and low ROI to the individual

He’s living vicariously through his daughter. Either has no sons, or his boys aren’t into participating in sports, so he cheers for his daughter. And he’ll be much prouder of her later if she climbs the corporate ladder (daddy’s little girl is a VP!) than if she becomes a wife or mother, it’s even OK that she remain barren and unmarried as long as she is “successful”.

My personal rule of thumb: if your metro area has plenty of higher paying jobs, it will be utterly unaffordable (mostly due to outrageous housing costs) to raise a family there on a single salary. I have a friend in the Bay Area, he and his wife bring in about 300K. After the Feds and the State of Cal take their cut they keep less than 200K. They have a million dollar mortgage on a 60 year old shack which probably originally sold for $25K (and which is no longer fully deductible) and pay well above the $10K SALT deduction limit. He drives a beater.

One thing I always noticed in California at the tech companies I worked at when I lived there: the hot cars in the parking lot belong either to the big cheeses or to the young single guys with roommates. Married guys drive 15 year old Hondas and Toyotas,

Matthew 7:13-14 records that Jesus said:
13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

The good news, is that the requirements to get into heaven are VERY short. Only two in fact. Romans (in the Bible) says:
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”[a] 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Of course, the difficult part is accepting Jesus as your Lord. (Master/king would communicate the idea, since “Lord” is not is common use in English, as it was in 1611.
No need to be part of the “right” religious group, or pay enough money to some charlatan. Give your life and obedience to Jesus, believe, and you are in.

    May God guide you.

This does seem to be the norm in the UMC these days. They have one, because two or more would be to stressful given that their careers come first, not to mention the cost. It seems that every $200K+ couple I know has at most one kid, though there are outliers, especially when the UMC wife is stay at home.

  187. TheTraveler says:

    @Dale U
Actually…look at MT 5:16, 1 TM 2, 1 TM 5. Those (and many more) say that good works are needed, too.

We don’t really know that by “few,” Christ meant “almost nobody.” Translations of the Bible (including Luther’s, incidentally) deviate from previous versions, often because of vagaries of language, sometimes because of translator agenda. There are three different arrangements (that all say the EXACT same thing as a whole) of the Ten Commandments, for instance.

Again: Humans are created by God to be weak and vulnerable, subject to frequent suffering and constant temptation (even the zealous St. Paul sinned). Humans have it a whole lot harder than angels, despite being (almost) infinitely weaker, than angels. Only one third of angels went to Hell–but almost all humans will?

Only a pitiless ogre–like Zeus (or for that matter Allah)–would create uncounted creatures destined for eternal destruction. And all the Bible quotations, especially taking into account the thousands of years and a dozen (or more) translations (and especially interpretations) don’t explain the logical irrationality of this scenario. And God is supremely rational.

  188. Frank K says:

would create uncounted creatures destined for eternal destruction

The offer of salvation is for everyone. That so many have chosen and will choose to reject it does not discount divine mercy.

  189. TheTraveler says:

    @Frank K

The God you present has created billions upon billions of vulnerable creatures, knowing that due to this vulnerability, almost all of them are doomed.

It’s like a teacher giving a test that he knows all but a tiny handful of his students will pass: I gave them all the material they needed; it’s up to them to pass. Any teacher who knowingly gives a test too tough for all but a few students to pass is a bad, even wicked, teacher.

Presumably God is infinitely wiser, more merciful, and more just than any earthly teacher. You don’t pass just because you show up. But I’m guessing God gives a lot more partial credit than some would think.

  190. Dale U says:

In your teacher / bad test example, the teacher is deliberately making the test so hard that few will pass.
With God however, the “pass” requirements are very low. Simply submit to God and believe. Not a high standard.
Now yes, due to natural selfishness, many would choose to not obey. But that does not mean that the test is too hard. A better teacher/test example would be a teacher who has taken over a class of supremely lazy students. Despite making the test easy, the students still mostly fail.

You are correct that we are called to work for God. But the Bible is also clear that the works we do, do NOT save us. Ephesians 2:8-10 is a favourite passage of mine, because that passage addresses both the idea that works do not save us, and also the idea that we are created to do good works. Yes, work. But no, the works do not save. Which is pretty good for us, as that would mean that we would have to work hard to meet the “passing grade”. Instead, we can submit and believe, be a fairly poor or middling student, and still get in to heaven.
