From Megan Fox at PJ Media: Internet Rallies for Disabled Veteran Besieged by SJWs, Raises $21,000 and Counting
Last week, PJ Media reported about Will Caligan, a conservative disabled veteran who lost his job after offending the Transgender Mafia with science. Caligan is a talented comics artist who found himself in a bigoted work environment run by people hostile toward anyone with conservative Christian views. Instead of tolerance, Caligan experienced public shaming, threats, a job loss, and colleagues turning their backs on him after he stated a man can not change his DNA based on wishes.
Sane people everywhere were alarmed and dismayed that a person could lose his livelihood after one inconsequential exchange on social media. So within hours of PJ Media publishing that story, Vox Day of Castalia House Publishing reached out to Caligan and offered him a project.
…
Caligan is humbled by the outpouring of support from the comics community, but not used to the attention as his profile has been launched into the national spotlight. The attention can only bring positive things, however, as the industry is buzzing about Caligan and his work. All Short Fuse Media seems to have accomplished with their politically correct panic attack is push Caligan to the next level of his career.
Now, not only is Castalia House funding a project for Caligan, but other publishers are following suit.
Fox quotes Day from a recent periscope:
One of the most important aspects of the Will Caligan’s Comic campaign is sending the SJWs the message that even when they successfully swarm and disemploy someone, that person will not be left behind. What we are doing is publicly defanging the isolate-and-starve strategy that they use to keep everyone intimidated and silent in the face of the SJW narrative.
When people see that they will actually be better off as a result of being attacked by an SJW swarm, they will be less reluctant to stand up for themselves and their beliefs.
As I mentioned in the comments section this morning, I kicked in a few bucks to the Freestartr campaign yesterday. My thoughts were:
- That was really easy.
- That felt great!
Now it feels even better. Try it and you will see what I mean.

Let us not forget Jordan Peterson.
In case you had not heard, Peterson a Christian and Professor of Psychology (ex Harvard Professor) had had a run in in his home country of Canada over personal pronouns. Last week to promote his latest book he was in England and was interviewed for half-an-hour on Channel 4’s news programme. Ms Newman his affirmative-action interviewee revealed her intellectual inferiority as well as her Feminist bias and the consensus has been that the interview was a Media disaster for Channel 4. Peterson is being attacked now for ‘hitting a girl’ the very girl (Newman) who was until the interview a strong empowered woman.
There are only two sexes but it is now effectively a crime to say as much. Peterson may before long also be in need of the support of all sane people.

I thought of you when I saw this. A romance novel writer who wishes she hopped on the bad sex = rape bus before Cat Power’s offer stole her mojo.
Basically she is upset she had a lot of fornication with bad boys who don’t call back and can’t understand why she can’t find Prince Charming to marry her.
Some people on Twitter suggested waiting till marriage would save her misery and she ridiculed them.
@Mandy
It’s in Cosmo, what else would you expect?
Y’know, someone of entrepreneurial bent might discover a very lucrative future in pairing up Conservative Christian victims of SJW “workplace purges” with Christian business owners seeking talent.
Maybe if this is successful even Dalrock might go public. I would love to listen to him do a podcast.
The truth is that almost none of us are truly antifragile, and so establishing patterns of support like this is important, especially in this current age when local church support is weak or compromised.

I suspect the controversy worked well to promote Peterson’s book. There’s no other reason for a Christian to voluntarily talk to the lamestream media. Back office nerds will need this kind of help more than minor celebrities.
Anyway, I’m willing to support suffering Christians but per Christianity, I don’t do charity. I didn’t even do Caligan any charity; I simply bought his next project sight unseen, a necessary part of scouting new talent.
Real men want opportunities, not handouts. This campaign is giving Caligan an opportunity.

I kinda hope so. But given the lousy performance/reputation of so many of those who had a fish sticker in their shop window, I don’t think I’d want to be on either side of that equation.
I hope companies like this https://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=23311 start recognizing what’s going on in their world, and look purposely to hire their brothers in Christ.
Also off topic, but I think Clarey really nailed it in this piece, https://captaincapitalism.blogspot.com/2018/01/how-western-governors-university-will.html
“But there is something else much more fundamental going that adults, parents, and people-you-shouldn’t-trust-because-they’re-over-30 don’t understand. And that is we have created such a hopeless, prison-like environment in the K-12 education system that these kids literally have NOTHING ELSE in life to look forward to than college. We don’t teach them about the trades. We don’t teach them about potentially joining the military. We don’t teach them about homeownership, repair, housekeeping, having kids or the American dream. And I don’t know one family that sits their kids down and tries to teach them about the importance of love, friends, family, and their future, giving them a kernel of hope there’s something better for them in life than “just more school.” This myopic focus on college ensures that young people today view college more like a young lady views her wedding day”
A great job tying together of how the current educational system has established college, not marriage and family, as THE goal for young people to pursue.
Funny enough, Clarey also talks about how much time is wasted by young men chasing after women. God’s design for marriage solves that, and leaves men’s energies available to serve Him.

Sorry, but when $4 Trillion of annual government spending (well above taxes collected) is merely devoted to directly or indirectly supporting left-wing causes, these small private donations are only making the smallest difference and certainly not deterring the next victims of SJWs.
Far more effective would be to find a way to inflict real cost on the SJWs. Until normal people figure out how to do this, the SJWs will continue to have the dominant hand.

State and federal governments (a very deep pocket) would sue such business owners for violating employment anti-discrimination laws, as such a policy would disparately favor white, Christian, heterosexual males.
This is one reason business owners are moving away from employees, in favor of independent contractors. Employees bring too many legal headaches with them.
we have created such a hopeless, prison-like environment in the K-12 education system that these kids literally have NOTHING ELSE in life to look forward to than college.
When I was in high school, my father began discussing my graduate school plans. I didn’t have any. My father just assumed I would go to graduate school, as he said that “a college degree means nothing these days.” This was back in the 1970s.
SJW – Sharia Jihadist Whiners
Done and done. It is amazing to me how anti-free expression so much of the arts world has become. I hope he has the kind of success that he never would’ve had if the sjw’s hadn’t tried to censor him in the first place.
College was just “expected” from me. No, I wasn’t a teen who was straight A’s nor was I in the top 10% of my graduating class. I really had no idea what I was going to study, I just knew I was going to go. I remember I did express an interest in Dartmouth College, and my parents told me that even if I was accepted there (I wasn’t) they could not afford that much in tuition.
I do miss my college years very much. I wasn’t “big man on campus” nor was I “popular” but I did like my college very much, the times I was there……Vermont……brick and ivy…..New England…….and like so many small private New England colleges / universities…..you HAD to live on campus all four years. An adventure in itself. I miss the fall. The snow……..skiing, fire alarms at 2am…..once a month birthday dinners…..the silliness…….swimming in slate quarries. Crackling fire in the dorm lounge on cold nights. Smoking cigarettes in class. Sunday brunch.
It was the end of an era….and we knew the Internet was going to be bigger than we could ever imagine……..I regret if anything the drug use…I did a lot of LSD back then.
